I was bummed out when they closed the Supercuts on Miller and 137th Ave but this was the second closest location. I have stopped by a few times and I think just once felt like I had good service. 1. They are inconsistent with pricing. Sometimes all I've gotten is my hair washed and despite my hair being the same length each time, I've gotten 3 different prices. Had it stayed the same or maybe just gone up a few dollars instead of almost double (I get inflation but double the price is insanity), I would get service done more often but definitely not worth it. 2. At least one of the hair dressers here has terrible customer service. Unfortunately I don't have her name to warn others. There's a second one (and I really wish I knew their names) that's also pretty bad. I just think this location overall lacks good customer service. 3. It's not all bad. Marcelina who has cut my hair multiple times and each time has cut my hair how I've asked. Is she the nicest? Not really, but she knows how to cut hair. read more

Had my hair cut by Marci a couple weeks ago. I've never gone to a budget salon, but I have very thin, fine hair, and had a simple request just to remove a couple inches, so thought it wouldn't be difficult to accomplish. I thought it was odd that she didn't greet me or ask my name, just pointed to the chair. I paid extra for a wash and dry and left with wet hair. The plain and simple haircut I requested is horrifically uneven in the back. You truly get what you pay for. My husband would have done the same job at home, for free. It's actually incredible the lengths the lady that cut my hair took to do the exact opposite of everything I asked for. The hair at the sides and back of my head are longer than the top of my head and cut maybe 2-3 times as much of it from what I wanted. I had shown a picture for reference and still did messed up to a degree I legitimately don't even understand. Customer service wise they tried to pressure my father to get a haircut so much (he's nearly bald) he had to tell them off because he was not interested. read more

Stay away from this location at all costs!! Just had to walk out of this store due to the treatment by one of the employees. My husband has his hair cut here, and I wanted to get my hair blow dried, so I asked him to make me an appointment. When we arrived the people were very nice and we only waited a short time. The problem began when I said I only wanted to wash and blow dry my hair. To begin, the lady assigned seemed surprised that I wanted my hair washed before dried! I am still not sure what the alternative would be; how do you dry hair that has not been washed? The lady asked me to let my hair down so that she could determine the price. This was strange to me as I have my hair blow dried often at a blow bar, and my hair length is never a determining factor in a price. The lady looked toward another employee (manager?) who immediately said $60. Never have I paid $60 for a simple blow dry! I stated that it seemed a bit excessive as I've had my hair done at blow bars and actual hair salons and always pay less than that. The manager lady was extremely dismissive of me, looked away, and said that's what it costs here. She then proceeded to say that my hair is considered extra long (it barely reaches my bra line). I am not sure if this lady is just naturally rude and didn't want to do the blow dry (the place closed at 5 and my appointment was for 4:30) or if that is truly the price for a blow dry at Supercuts. Either way, be warned. The other employees were nice but seemed uncomfortable by her mistreatment of a client. Also, $60 is about $15-20 more than I have ever paid for a simple blow dry. My go-to place for haircut for many many years. Too many to admit. Your experience will depend on the person cutting the hair, which is usually pure luck, unless you know a hair stylist, but I don't, and I haven't come across many whom I may recognize from the previous time. I guess the turnover ratio is high. read more

I couldn't give no stars but If I could I would have. Well, the only nice thing I can say is that when I called the lady found availability. So I went in today for a hair color. I sat down the women who I still do not know her name all I know is that she is 64 because of a conversation she had with a man that walked into the salon with his two children. So after sitting down she told me the color that I needed. I said ok and we proceeded to put color on my grays she slapped on the color getting it all over my forehead side of face and neck. Then she went to the guy to put on his color, and cut a little boys hair. She came back put on the rest of the dye and left again. No conversation at all..... during my time at the salon. Then once she completed the rest of the color she left. That's understandable. But when she came back for me to rinse my hair she tossed a towel over my face. And every time it started to move down she pulled it back up over my eyes. I was like ok no worries then she proceeded to take off the excess color from my face, forehead and neck area though I thought. I was clearly wrong. Once she rinsed my hair she put a town, and had me go to the chair. I did not request a haircut so combed my hair put product and while my hair still soaked told me I was done. I got up from the chair with my head soaked and paid. Then I asked her for a towel she gave me one and I'm when I looked in the mirror I have brown dye all over my face, forehead and I said something to her and she did offer to fix it but if she really did care then she would have done it the first time. So I walked out very upset and unsatisfied. I even gave her a good tip and she was so rude to me. Now I'm sitting in my car trying to get the dye off of my head which is not coming off. So now I'm going to look like a clown for the next few day. My lesson learned is not to come back to this location. If you do you have been warned. read more

The worst! Horrible customer service! First, I checked in both my son and my husband at 12:15 for 12:30 online, which was the first available appointment time online, which also stated there could be a short wait. When we arrived just before 1230, we saw two stylists with two customers in chairs, and another two in the lobby waiting. When someone finally asked us our name I advised her that we had checked in online and she let us know that we still were behind the two people in the lobby, fine. We waited about 15 minutes, then the blonde stylist, I think I overheard her name was Dawn, came and took my husband to be cut. Why he was taken before my four-year-old son who I had checked in first, I don't know, but it was fine. The second stylist, Sylvia, began to work on one of the other two patrons. When she was done with my husband, the blonde stylist told him that she had a shampoo and color and a cut and that the other stylist, Sylvia will take Wilder next. While this was happening another woman and her husband walked in. This woman told the blonde stylist that she had checked in for 2 PM, but came early just in case. The blonde stylist told this woman that it would be about 35 to 45 minutes, even though it was still before one at this point. The lady said that she would go and get coffee, which she did. Then Sylvia takes the second woman waiting which I thought was odd since we were told that we would be next but I was again fine. Both stylists finished who they were working on at the same time. By now the woman and her husband who had gotten coffee had returned, as well as one gentleman who had walked into the lobby. Now it was 1:30, a full hour after we had arrived and more than an hour after we had checked in, and my four-year-old was starting to get antsy. Both stylists are done with who they were working on, and Sylvia goes to get the gentleman saying that his name was Robert who had checked in before us, but left and come back. The blonde stylist got her 2 o'clock appointment and started taking her back. At this point I am beyond mad. And I stand up to ask Sylvia what time someone would finally see my son and what was going on. Sylvia told me that this particular location does not take appointments. By now my four-year-old is crying and I am shaking I'm so angry. The blonde stylist straight up lied to my face and says that she told my husband that we would have to wait after these two appointments, but like I said she also told my husband that the lady Sylvia would be doing my son next. Finally Sylvia comes to get me out of the parking lot, because she sees that my son is sobbing, and said she would cut him now. I am still irate over the way the blonde stylist lied to us and valued her "appointment", which apparently this salon only takes for preferential people, over a four-year-old. read more

I usually go to Great Clips but the one that I usually go to was closed. Sooo, I ended up here because they're fairly close to my house. I signed up on line and I was taken immediately upon arrival. Patricia, my barber, asked if I wanted a shampoo. I told her I just wanted a basic haircut. When she finished the haircut, she told me the cost was $22.50. I said that I didn't get a shampoo and she told me the price was the same with or without the shampoo. This was the most expensive haircut I've ever gotten. I should have paid more attention to the pricing. The most I've ever paid at Great Clips was $13.00. NEVER AGAIN SUPERCUTS. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Brought my son here once and by chance he got Alex. Now that's his new barber. And my son is picky with his hair! I think the price is decent. $15 for the haircut and he gets this hot towel thing that he loves. He feels pampered. He's 12! Oh lord! Lol!!! Anyways every now and then they'll e mail you some coupons so that's cool. And Alex his barber is great, professional and kind. A lot of people come to him. Both men and women. I was desperate for a haircut and stumbled up this place. I got Hazel, who was very friendly from the start. I have straight hair, and asked for a medium bob. She did a great job! It came out better than I thought it was going to. I also did my brows with her and they came out great.
