The entire process was very quick and efficient. Did a great job and very friendly. Miguel was amazing.

I usually live in LA, but I come here when I'm visiting family to get my hair cut and dyed for an affordable price because my length usually costs me hundreds to get done in LA. Arianna did my color the last time I was in Miami and I am in love. I wanted to write a review after a few washes and it still looks amazing. Definitely consider getting your hair done here. Rebecca is great too and Eduardo. Everyone is so talented! Coming back to see Rebecca next time I am in MIA! read more

Iveth did an incredible job correcting my hair after a previous cut and color went wrong. She fixed the color and highlights beautifully, and the haircut came out exactly how I wanted. She's talented, professional, and truly cares about her work. Highly recommend her! I'll be back for her . read more

Monique did such an amazing job with my hair. She was so nice and informative! Will definitely be back

we had a 7:00 appt for a blowout for my 10 year old daughter and arrived at 7:09 the salon closes at 8 and were told it could not be done.

My first apt there I had a very good experience. Loved the cut, loved the color the hair designer picked. It was perfect. Been there few times since and besides the fact that ENGLISH seems to be NOT a requirement, I haven't had a good cut since. 99% of time they cut my hair too short no matter what I tell them. Last time I was there in July I actually had to tell the person to stop. It's been almost a year now and haven't been back. Price wise it's great but unless you speak Spanish and just getting your ends trimmed.. I don't recommend read more

Unfriendly female stylist who never once cracked a smile. Quite possibly the worst haircut I ever received. One sideburn longer than the other and pointed rather than straight. Believe me when I say I'm not going back. Steve read more

Arianna did a great job cutting my hair. She followed my directions to a tee. I will be back!

Monique is the best stylist I've been to in many years. She patiently listened to what I wanted, asked me how I usually style my hair, what my preferences are etc. She asked questions to make sure we were on the same page as far as what i wanted so she could give me the haircut I wanted. And she succeeded. I'm so happy. The whole experience was a joy. She was knowledgeable and personable and we chatted like old friends. Needless to say I've found my stylist! My hair came out exactly how I wanted! Thanks Monique. read more

I walked in without an appointment and was lucky to be seen immediately. Darvis was my salon specialist and she did a fabulous job on my mass of hair. I was skeptical at first because she looked so traditional, but never judge a book by its cover! I received a very professional cut and blow dry. I hope I can return and have Darvis be my stylist again. read more

Hair style was performed by Monique. She is very knowledgeable and dedicated to her craft and it shows as I was very happy with the results.

Miguel was fantastic! He provided excellent customer service--attentive, friendly, and professional. My hair looks amazing. Thank you!"

They did a great job with my hair. I walked in for a haircut and a stylist was able to attend to me immediately. While I was there, two other women were given times to come back which I appreciate because I don't like to sit and wait, I'd rather go and come back when I can be attended to. The stylist was nice and she read the notes in the system on my account (they don't always do that). The salon was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere, I'll go back there for a haircut/shampoo/blowdry. read more

I'm reading other reviews now after leaving my own hair appointment with Monique and I have to admit, I had such an amazing experience I'm wondering if I checked into the same Hair Cuttery as most of these other reviews. My experience with Monique was nothing short of amazing. From the minute we met, to the minute I left the salon, she delivered excellent service. Backstory: I had gotten my hair cut back in May at a different salon, right after salons reopened; and the stylist literally left the two halves of my hair different lengths. My left side was inches shorter than my right side. It was embarrassing. But I toughed it out for 2 months to let my hair grow out a little more. After explaining this to Monique today, she was 100% in-tune with what I was trying to accomplish with today's appointment. She explained the process of the cut she was going to give me and took before and after photos to show me the difference. She also explained the different shampoos I could use to avoid parabens, and she also recommended to use a hair masque at least once a week to help it grow. In addition to the stellar service, the cut and blow dry package was really affordable, the environment was clean and sanitized, and the results of my service look great. Monique at Hair Cuttery was the most thorough and informational stylist I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is dedicated and committed to her craft. If this is the culture or training for hair stylists at Hair Cuttery, I support it. Lol I will definitely be back. read more

High quality haircut without having a reservation. Friendly people. The stylist worked with my ambiguous instructions very well.

They live up to their name. I had long hair growing out for 4 years. I came before going to work on Monday because my split ends desperately needed cutting and I didn't have time except on a Sunday to come in. I told her I only wanted my split ends cut, and she said and pointed at me how much she would cut, just 1 inch-- I agreed, until I paid, walked out and tried putting my hair to the front like I always do-- and felt it at least 4 inches shorter. My long hair --- GONE. In one second. I cried when I got home. This shouldn't happen. I understand you get what you pay for but what the actual fuck. I asked for split ends cut not a whole ass hair cut. Never letting a woman trim my hair again. Now I'm making an even costlier appointment to get extensions done because I will absolutely not be walking around with short hair looking like I'm back in high school. Will never step foot in a Hair Cuttery again and encourage others to not do so either. read more

The worst hair cut I have ever had! Dirty old unprofessional people! You'll do a better job cutting your hair by yourself!

Monique is the absolute best! She makes you feel tremendous about yourself your cut, dye, and style. With Monique, you are always in good hands! read more

If I could rate this lady (Darvis Designer II) zero stars I would! I went in to get layers and she did the sloppiest job I've ever seen. You'd think because layers are a simple and common haircut that she would be able to do them, but instead I was left with "layers" 5 inches apart from each other. I'm so upset and will now have to go to another salon to get another 5 inches cut off. This review cannot not even capture the amount of pain and tears I've suffered from losing my long hair. This lady SHOULD BE FIRED!!! I will never come here again. read more

First time visiting a Hair Cuttery and this location was great. I went in for a single color service (Jet black). I had booked with Miguel and he was great; super friendly and listened to what I wanted to achieve. I had also booked for a eyebrow shaping because I needed a clean up on my eyebrows; all I can say is I love the way he did my eyebrows, super sharp and clean. The pricing for color is affordable and I would go back to him when I want to get a single color. I have long hair so there was an upcharge for the length but, in total for the single color and eyebrows I paid $95. Which is affordable considering my hair length! BTW - eyebrows are $13. The stylist wear masks and they do practice social distancing in the salon chairs with other customers. Overall, I would recommend trying the place out. I recommend for a single color Miguel. Good Luck! read more

Bad customer service. Gossip and gossip. Nobody greeting. People working there don't make a customer feel welcome.

Eduardo always listens very carefully to what you want. He makes sure to communicate back to you what you're asking for and shows you what he's going to do and cut before he begins cutting your hair. He's excellent in cutting and styling hair. I always leave very happy and satisfied with his work! read more

I was in a hurry and very aware that things like hair and nails. Since I chopped all my hair off last week I just wanted a very simple quick blow dry. My hair takes me like 15 minutes to blow dry, cuz its super short. But I was in a treat-yo-self kinda mood and this place was next to my nail place, I figured WHY NOT?! HOW CAN YOU MESS UP A BLOW DRY SHORT ASS HAIR?!?! A lady came to get me and guided me to the washing hair chair. It was fine. I get in her chair... then she says can u give me a minute? I need to talk to my son, I havent heard from him...Im like sureeeee By this point, Im fine. Even though it took her a while to get her life together and situated to even start. I VERBALLY SAID....I DON'T WANT FLAT HAIR. JUST BLOW DRY AND NONE OF THOSE FLIPS AT THE END. I said it in Spanish, to make sure it was understood. Im a grown ass woman maam....No mf flips round here. It took over an hour, I left with frizzy ass, flipped at the bottom hair. Paid the $40 because I was late to an event. I cried the whole way home in frustration and redid my hair. Legit NEVER again. Take Away: - Do your research on the stylists prior to getting there. - Don't use this place as an impulsive treat-yo-self place read more

Look at the reviews and see who is good. I usually cut my hair with this one lady who is decent. They gave me this new girl and my hair cut is really bad right now. I usually have really long hair and asked for layers. She basically cut it into a chunky, two step staircase. I think I'm going to have to chop it all off into a bob to even it out. :/ read more

I decided to get a wash & blow dry last minute after work & I'm feeling lazy. This lady that was assigned to me was nice but a bit rough when handling my head... The wash was rough as well as the blow dry. Overall she did a quick but good job drying my hair... She Also charged me fairly after I questioned the $33 she advised me would cost for my hair which is shoulder level. Place is quiet & has plenty of parking for the strip mall that is located at dadeland station mall. read more

Hair Cuttery at Dadeland Station turned out much better than I had anticipated! Before I left the house, I was planning to go to Hair Color Salon a few steps away from this place because of the good Yelp reviews. I didn't realize that it was closed on Sundays until I got there. I have a busy schedule so I just decided to get my hair cut here while I was in that area. Hair Cuttery turned out to be much better than the Yelp Reviews! I walked in and was seen by Marileici within 2 minutes. She was very friendly and helpful with answers when I asked about some hair care problems. I had pictures of the type of haircut to show her what I have in mind. I went in for a big change with my hairstyle, and she did an amazing job with it! I had long and frizzy hair and she gave me a cut that's manageable and looks cute. She also did my brow waxing and was relatively quick and painless with it! I will definitely come back to see Marileici for my haircuts. Great prices ($17 for haircut and $8 for eyebrow waxing) and great service! read more

I'm a broke college kid. I was desperate for a hair cut. My only option was Hair Cuttery. It's such a convenient location and it's affordable. I was definitely nervous, even though I don't really believe that bad hair cuts exist (it grows back, have fun with it!) because I wanted to get a side cut, which not many people have done before on girls. Delila nailed it. I left the shop with my hair better than I ever imagined from a Hair Cuttery. I'm definitely happy with the service and the end result. Of course, it's not a super high end salon, but it gets the job done. read more

Probably the worst haircut I've had in my entire life . I'm growing my hair and I made the mistake of coming in here . I asked to leave the top alone and just pass a 4 along the sides and back . Nope she pulls out scissors and quickly starts cutting the top making me look like Lloyd from dumb and dumber . The clipper cut was uneven along the sides literally the right side was high and short while the left was an inch longer . Just a fair warning avoid this place read more

Went in for a men's haircut. Asked for a trim on top and #2 shave on sides. Gave example of David Beckham. Got flat topped instead! Cut my hair length more than 3 inches! It was less than 6 to begin with... She claims she cut only 1/2 inch and said "Don't worry, it will grow back." My infant son didn't recognize me my hair was so short. Also, During the cut, the Stylist asked if she could "trim" my eyebrows because they were bushy. I agreed and she shaved them off too. Literally, used the clippers with no guard. Had to let her do the second one just to make them even. The only credit I will give here is that the haircut was even. Still waiting for eyebrows to grow back.... NEVER going back to this location. read more

When I walk in to get a haircut I'm supposed to feel welcomed and assured I'm going to have an amazing time. The fact that I made an appointment and there needed to be a discussion between 4 workers on who's going to work on my hair and how long it will take. Unacceptable. I walked out and never going back again. read more

Went in for a trim with layers and got my hair completely butchered. Now its too short to do anything with. The experience was not the best either, the woman cutting my hair was also doing the receptionist job so she would stop every 10 minutes to answers clients. Do not recommend at all. read more

Probably one of the worst hair cuts I've received. The hairdresser haphazardly chopped away at the top part of my hair and ran the buzzer over the sides sporadically "blending". I will not be returning to even have it "fixed" read more

Just waited a half hour. One guy in front of me got his hair cut pretty quickly. The one lady that acknowledged my existence that she would be with me in a minute took 15 minutes to clean her station after the other guy, then packed up her belongings and left!!! The other two ladies were too busy chatting to do anything like work and one spent 10 minutes trying to ring up another ladies cut. Oh, if you do feel like torturing yourself and going here, wear ear plugs. Apparently I have been speaking Spanish wrong- you have to YELL EVERY CONVERSATION YOU HAVE. read more

THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! I clearly told the lady NO heat at all in my hair at all because I have a magnetic implant in my head and it could cause serious damage. She put the hair color in my hair and disappeared for almost an hour, I asked another lady for her and she said oh well just wait. I had the paint dripping all over my shirt and went in my ears and in my nails that had just been done. I got up to see what was going on and she was in the back eating. When she came out she just rinsed my hair and then grabbed the dryer and put it in my head. I told her once again I SAID NO HEAT but she didn't care and kept going. I literally had to grab her hand and take it off my head. She left me with a headache for days. I called corporate to complain but they clearly don't care eaither. The lady asked me what time is best to call you? I said in the morning and they called me the same day around 5:30 pm when I was in a meeting. I answered them back and they never picked up the phone again. I waited for days with no answer and called corporate back and the guy who answered was really rude and very unprofessional. He said you have no reason calling again you called once already and the lady in charge left you lots of voicemails. He was clearly lying because I had no messages at all. Days later I tried again and the lady who answered said she was going to forward the message to her boss. It's been over a month and I still haven't heard from them. I was at least waiting for an apology and my money back. They are avoiding the problem. "THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOREVER"!!!!! read more
