This is basically "Haircut Roulette". Sometimes it's ok and sometimes the cut is so bad, you don't want to leave your house for 6 weeks. That's my most recent experience. It literally looks like a bowl was placed on my head and cut. She shaved the the back and way above my neckline so it looks bald. She was a very sweet person but no clue how to do a basic haircut. read more

I go to cosmetology school and have NEVER seen such a bad cut. Brian cut my older sisters hair and she wanted it CHOPPED off. she just had a baby in March and she likes to pull. she also asked that it not be straight across and it have more of a U shape as well as light layers. he attempted to have it cut STRAIGHT ACROSS even though that's not what she asked for and it was STILL uneven. the bottom half had a longer right side and the top half had a longer left side. what was he trying to do?? when she asked for all of this he said "i can try" BRO WHAT. if you are not comfortable in your skills to do something, DONT DO IT. i fixed it up but someone needs to look into his work... read more

I made an appointment online for 2pm. It actually was a mistake. I thought I was booking a different location, so I did not know anyone at the location. When I arrived the vibe was not friendly. The woman at the desk seemed very disinterested and did not explain that Claudia was working on a client. I had not been there before, so I did not know if my stylist was out to lunch or working on a client. Claudia was working on a client. I waited about 15 minutes for my appointment. I think that is a reasonable delay for this type of salon, but I would have appreciated an explanation. Claudia apologized for the delay. She was friendly and did a good job. I got a shampoo and cut. She was clear in showing how much she would be taking off. At the end, she asked if I wanted hair spray. I refused as I don't usually usually use hair spray. I appreciate the question. I will probably go back again if I can get Claudia. read more

Shaye cut my hair. She is nice and anxious to please. However a woman who appeared to be a supervisor was working on something at the desk and speaking with her staff without a mask on. Also two customers came in, older man and woman not wearing masks, and they were not asked to wear one. I was very nervous in there today. read more

I got there and really there was just 2 people waiting, but as the ladies took their time for each person in the chair I was just about ready to be call ( so I thought) one of the two cutters takes her break.... If there was a 0 Star option I would rate it 0 stars. I went on a Saturday thinking they didn't close til 8 and ended up being there 5 minutes until closing. The two ladies there refused to provide any type of service because "they were already closed" Couldn't even just provide a simple line up or clean the back of my neck which doesn't take any more than 5 minutes because "they were closed" but the clock had 5 more minutes to it and if that were the case the door would not have been open. read more

The first time I went to this location, had been to a location in Chandler but my hair stylis had quit. I went to great clips right down the street from me and big mistake, made a mess out of my hair Then I found this location and Kristen took me before I was even able to sit down. I explained to Kristen what the Great Clips h c did and not only did she listen intently, I showed her the obvious mess and she took her time and cleaned up my hair perfectly, Kristen asked me if I wanted my eye brows done and other places cut. She may be young, but Kristen takes pride in her work. Kristen made me look like a million dollars, will see her until I leave Az Well , I saw Kristen for the last time, only because I am moving back to Florida in 1.5 weeks. I had her shave me, a first for me. Perfect job, expected nothing less from Kristen. I told her I only had 1 regret, and that is I didnt find her ealier when I move into where I live. If there was a perfect 10, Kristen not only deserves it, but also a raise. I will miss Kristen, she made sure ro make everything perfect. read more

I sent my son here for a hair cut after a long time staying inside because of covid 19. The lady was so attentive and my son said he is very happy with the style he asked for. I am livid! I knew the salons would be super busy today. At 2pm, I made an appointment at the Supercuts on E. McKellips in Mesa for 4:40pm. At 4:30pm, I arrive early to check on the status of my appointment. They told me that when they opened this morning that there were 30 people in line and that those of us who checked in on line threw things off!! So, they were running an hour behind and could get to me at 5:30. I said: ok, I understood. At 4:45pm, I see a guy go in and come back out. I asked him if he had an appointment. He said that he had one at 5pm but that he needed to wear his facemask. He goes in. (I wore my mask in each time I entered!) I go in a couple minutes later and ask them if it would have been better for me to have been a walk in or have an appointment. The lady started telling me that we all had numbers and that there were 3 ahead of me. (There were 4 people waiting.) I sit down to wait to see if this guy gets called. And in about 5 minutes (at 5pm exactly!), they call him up for his haircut!!! And I was still having to wait another 30 minutes even though my appointment had been at 4:40pm! I told them to just cancel my appointment! Their response: Sorry! (I wanted to say: YOU are the sorry ones! But I left without another response!) Obviously, I WON'T be back, and every chance I get, I am going to brag about their wonderful service. (I had been going there 3 months prior to the virus thing.) I arrived and was told in a very rude tone that it was a half hour wait. I politely said fine and went to frys to grocery shop for twenty minutes. After coming back and waiting an additional twenty minutes and watching multiple people who came in after us going ahead of us I went and asked about the wait once again. Was rudely told that they checked in over the phone. Ten minutes later I had had enough and left. Will never be going back there again. I just got haircut at the super cuts off of recker and McKellips in Mesa az today and I asked for a number 3 on top and a 0 on the side with a high fade. The employee she had black hair and didn't seem happy to be there. By time I got home I realized that she missed half the top of my head on the back side and there was patches she never trimmed on the back of my head. I didn't want to go back because I was worried she might mess it up if I went back. I had to go to a barber shop to have them fix my hair. I will never go back to that super cuts again read more

I called ahead and was told that there would be an hour wait. When I showed up for my appointment, I was able to get in within ten minutes of being there. Everybody was very polite and I had a great experience. I will definitely be coming back in for my next haircut! read more
