Allison is amazing! She helped me fixed a really bad haircut from another salon. She did a great job on my haircut. I have very thick, coarse hair. I love that my hair feathers really well now. My hair is cut perfectly straight across in the back. I received several compliments on how great my hair looks. Allison is very thorough and pays attention to detail. Awful Experience with Chloe Went to Supercuts today and had Chloe as my stylist. First and last time with her! I had a gut feeling she wouldn't be good, and unfortunately, I was right. I normally go to Jill, who was absolutely amazing, but I found out she no longer works there - and I can definitely tell the difference. From the start, Chloe criticized my hair. I was only getting a haircut (no wash), but she insisted on taking me to the shampoo bowl just to drench my hair in water. She claimed her spray bottle didn't have enough water and that my hair was "too thick" to cut without soaking it. Jill never had a problem cutting my hair before, and she never once complained or made unnecessary steps like that. Honestly, if you're going to inconvenience me like that, you might as well wash it too. Then, while cutting my hair, Chloe started questioning me about what shampoo I use - twice. When I gave her a simple answer, she went into this "hair doctor" act, telling me I had buildup in my hair (which I don't). She even claimed that my hair "shouldn't be that tough to comb" and that when people say someone has thick hair, it usually just means there's product buildup - which she insisted was the case with me. That's completely false. I have healthy, beautiful, naturally thick hair that other stylists always compliment me on. Clearly, she just didn't know how to handle it. Chloe was also quick to try to upsell me the Paul Mitchell clarifying shampoo and their $18 clarifying shampoo service, which felt unnecessary and pushy given my haircut was already in progress. She nervously sprayed an excessive amount of leave-in conditioner, wasted product, and even dropped the cap on the floor. It was obvious she was inexperienced and uncomfortable. She honestly needs more training. Meanwhile, my daughter had her haircut with another stylist (brown hair, glasses--didn't catch her name as she never introduced herself), and she did an excellent job! I made sure to leave her a tip. Chloe, on the other hand, received no tip, as her service did not warrant one. To top it off, I saw an older man come in who was having trouble signing in on the tablet, and Chloe just let him struggle instead of offering help. That really showed her attitude. Overall, a terrible experience. I'll make sure to avoid this Supercuts location as long as Chloe is working there. Good luck to anyone who ends up in her chair - you'll need it. read more

Yesterday I went into this Supercuts to see if they had availability they didn't so I left and decided I would call the next day and try to make an appointment. I just called and I had to call three different times and the third time I was no actually no two times but the second time I was hung up on hung up in my face because I was asking her the question do you have any appointments available this afternoon? I am sitting here in all at the audacity of anyone who thinks that they can act that way to any other human all I wanted to know I called a business to see if they had available appointments who hangs up on someone she was asking me what time I'm trying to make four other appointments so I'm trying to schedule out my afternoon and she won't even tell me if she has any appointments available like what a manager needs to get involved whoever's working right now that is who it is I can I will be able. I am so upset right now like I literally want to go down there and just confront this person and nothing physical or anything like that but confront this person and literally ask who she thinks she is and what kind of business employees and employee that treats customers that way for asking do you have any appointments available this afternoon? Pretty frustrated at the customer service in the facility. This was our first time at this location. My toddler and I walked in just behind another customer and received no greeting, eye contact, acknowledgement, etc. The open employee (one other employee with a client) went to the front counter and took care of the woman in front of us and directed her to a chair. Because I was behind her in line at the counter, I assumed she would take my name down or something, but again, no eye contact, no acknowledgement, no "We'll be with you in about __ minutes." We had about 30 minutes allotted for a quick trim for my toddler, and in an attempt to be a patient citizen, I waited patiently the full 30 minutes; still no acknowledgement or anything from either of the two employees. Frustrated and out of time, we opted to leave. I would assume they provide decent haircuts, but if they're not even going to acknowledge the clients walking in through the door at any point or offer a time window, I will gladly visit any other Supercuts or any of the many other hair establishments in the area. read more

This was the worst hair cut my son has ever gotten. He's got Multiple hair cuts before and it's always the SAME CUT but this time I have no idea what happened. I asked for medium fade and a trim, like I always do. The lady asked whats medium fade? What number? Which confused me because I've never been ask that before nor do I cut hair, so I responds with "I don't know, medium fade?" I should of walked out after she asked me that. Anyways, I stepped away and came back and this is the final look. I showed her photos of my sons previous hair cuts and she processed to blame me for not showing photos in advance and not telling her what I want which I surely did!!! Location: W. Tropical Pkwy. Worst hair my son has ever received. Do no come here for boy hair cuts!! I told the blonde stylist (green eyes)to only take one inch off the top, she kept trying to fix how chopping it looked. Left him with chopping short hair in the front and the back. She kept pressing her clippers hard and harder on to his head. She kept saying I'm not done, I'm not done. She took 48 mins and she still isn't done?? As a parent, I couldn't keep letting her cut my kids hair. He was uncomfortable, and kept saying "she cut me mom" But I didn't see cuts anything on his ears. I will never go to a Supercuts again. I generally try to avoid most chain barber shops, but I found that the Supercuts location on Tropical Parkway is an exception. The staff there is friendly and they do a good job. Vanya especially is very particular about following the customers wishes on every detail. Vanya specializes in women's hair styling, but she is more than happy to give haircuts to men as well. read more

HORRIBLE...0 stars. A last minute desperate attempt at a "quick trim" after I straightened by curly hair and noticed a lot of split ends. Stopped by for a "no big deal trim" and walked out looking like MEDUSA! The way she trimmed my hair left it extremely uneven, then she wet it - which would have been fine if she planned to leave it damp or blow it out. But NOPE. She took a blow dryer and whipped it all around, throwing my hair around like I was in a wind tunnel...then she proceeded to use her paws to pull it back down into control. Then she said, "Your hairs curly?" NO SHIT!? Note: when you wet "straightened" curly hair - it becomes CURLY again. This shouldn't have been a question. Kayla and Randy are great! Both know what they are doing and do just as good haircuts as the gals who work in high priced salons, IMO they do better and for a fraction of the price. I have not had a botched job from either one. I usually request Kayla first but Randy is also very good and has a fun outgoing personality. PS I am very picky on how my hair is cut. I'm giving my recent visit one star because 0 was not an option. My mother and I walked in and sat down as both the stylists were attending clients. One of the stylists left her client and barked "number?' At me. I asked if she wanted my phone number. She stared at me. I assumed this meant yes, so I gave it to her. She asked who was getting a hair cut, and I told her both of us. She said who? So I replied with my name and my mother's name. She then turned back to her client and continued to serve her. After she finished with her client, she charged her and spent another 15 minutes just talking. She walked back to her station, messed around with some paperwork, started cleaning her cutting shears. She never said another word to us. Never told us how long. The other stylist was dyeing someone's hair and obviously wouldn't be taking us. So we waited and waited. I am a dirty, low down, nasty cheater that sold out because I did not want to drive 38 miles to get a haircut by my barber of six years. I was absolutely terrified walking into a Supercuts because as my previous experience years ago showed me, you never knew what you were going to get. A lot of people can F*&% up a fade. But as fate would have it the nice barber knew what she was doing and all was A-OK. Though not cut the same as someone who was know the top of your head for six years...this was the "one night stand" version of a hair cut and did A-OK in a pinch. Sadly, after much thought...I can not go back..The guilt of barber adultery is too much. I will make the drive but for those not dating another barber, give this location a shot.
