First of all the customer service was amazing , amilea truly cares about her clients and went above and beyond for me. We had a hiccup with our limo driver and he totally forgot use on our wedding day , amilea was kind and so helpful at making me calm and even went out of her way to pick us up! She got us a limo after all but she was amazing, thank you amilea. Hailee my makeup and hair artist is sooooooooo fkn good I felt so beautiful. She was so sweet too! Recommend 1000 % read more

We eloped last week from Ireland in Vegas, I followed Redit recommendations and booked Amelia C & Co for hair and make up. I was so happy with Hailee, sent her a few ideas I had and amazingly she nailed the look! In just two hours I had the look I had genuinely hoped I would have for the most amazing day! I had such a great experience with using Amelia and Co for my wedding day! I went in blind with no trial due to my wedding being a destination wedding. They did not disappoint a bit and actually exceeded my expectations! I last minute decided to wear an updo for my wedding and am so happy I did since they did a fabulous job. I let them do whatever they wanted for the makeup and again, it came out awesome. They gave my bridal party and I little lip stick swatches to take to reapply as the night went on which I thought was a nice touch. I was truly so happy with my results as well as the kindness of the staff. Putting your trust a company for one of the biggest days of your life can be scary but I feel like anyone will be in good hands going with Amelia and co P.S. Luci is amazing! She did my hair and makeup for both my engagement shoot and my wedding day. She is timely, communicative and overall, just the most positive vibe! So completely thrilled with my choice to pay for hair and makeup for my little wedding. I wanted to feel beautiful and, thanks to Yelp, I found this amazing company and artists/stylists. The booking process was a breeze. All of my crazy and constant emails and questions were answered quickly. Really great customer service! My makeup artist and hair stylist were so fab! I couldn't be happier with the end result. They listened to me, they studied my inspiration pics, and they made me my best self. Honestly, I'm not sure I've ever felt prettier. And everything completely lasted all night long and then some. And without that excessive hair spray and overly makeup feel. It was just the right amount of everything. Having them come to my hotel room was easy breezy. The prices were very competitive and reasonable. Though, do note, you have to pay for any parking - so if there's an event at a nearby stadium/arena, you might be on the hook for $150+ in parking fees. But that's only fair. This was one of the best choices I made! So thrilled and happy with my makeup and look! And again, really can't say enough positive things about the process and how quickly questions and everything are answered. read more

I had the most amazing experience with Amelia C & Co! These ladies are some of the most professional, talented, and hardworking people I've had the pleasure of working with while getting married in Vegas! I've had my hair and makeup done a handful of times in the past, but I've never felt as confident and beautiful as I did working with this team. I had the opportunity to get my makeup and hair done on three separate occasions--once by Luci, and the other two times by Aimee--and let me tell you, both were absolutely incredible. They truly listened to what I wanted and brought my vision to life with such artistry and care. And all of my brides looked stunning! I got married in Vegas last week and had Maggie (for makeup) and Rae (for hair) and omg I can not say enough amazing things about both of them. They came to our hotel room and did hair and makeup for my 2 sisters and I. We all LOVED how we looked, which is so rarely the case when we get our hair and makeup done!! I was nervous to get married without a makeup trial, but since I don't live in Vegas I was not able to do one and everything worked out perfectly. I literally have never felt so confident and that was all because of the two of them!! They were so fun to hangout with too!! Everything from booking online, arrival day of and payment was so smooth, which is ideal when you have so much to plan for a wedding. Great company and great team!! It was a little nerve racking not being able to do a trial run, but they were recommended by the wedding planning company I was going through, so I trusted them and they were all great! I wish I could give 10 stars!!!! I recently booked Amelia and Co for my best friends wedding in Vegas. From the second I reached out concerning quotes and availability, the company was incredible. Their communication was consistent throughout and they were so thorough in helping prepare for the big day. Our artist, Luci, reached out to me a few days beforehand to set up our game plan. She responded to texts quickly and answered all my questions. Not to mention- she is FABULOUS and did such an amazing job on our hair and makeup. She knew exactly what we wanted and made sure to ask the perfect questions before she started. Everything turned out exactly as we wanted. Luci was also so lovely to hangout with, we spent most of the afternoon talking about how much we loved getting ready with her! I seriously cannot recommend this business enough. Amelia C & Co. made the process of deciding on what I was going to do for my wedding hair and make up feel less stressful from start to finish. You would think eloping to Vegas would be easier but it's not always the case. Rob made me feel comfortable with the initial process right away. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted and no way of doing a preview before my wedding due to the distance I was traveling from. He was fantastic about letting me send in as many inspiration pictures as I needed to give them an idea as to what I thought I may want to do. A few days before my arrival to Vegas I received a friendly message from my makeup artist Alexis, confirming my appointment with her and Zulma my hairstylist. The day of my wedding I was pretty nervous but the ladies were AMAZING! They were kind, friendly, and so accommodating. I never wear any makeup or do my hair and they worked with me to have me look exactly how I wanted. My style was to not look too heavily made up but enough that I would stand out in wedding pictures. I also wanted to ensure it all lasted throughout the afternoon and evening. Boy, these ladies delivered! I looked and felt fantastic well into the evening. I would definitely recommended Alexis and Zulma from Amelia C & Co. I also appreciate that Amelia followed up with me after my wedding to ensure I was happy. Great communication, friendly, and overall awesome! Had Alexis and Juan'Ya work their magic on me and I loved it! Alexis was very mindful of my Rosacea and used sensitive skin products on me to make sure I didn't break out! Really appreciated that detail! I got married in Vegas 2 days ago. I LOVED my hair and makeup by LUCI! Shout out Luci!! You were so sweet, helpful and beautifully communicated with me a week prior, all the way leading to our big day. (This helped more than you know!) We had an outdoor wedding at Valley of Fire and my hair and makeup stayed put all day! I loved how Luci went above and beyond by accommodating my hair piece I didn't have yet but thoroughly explained how to secure it with extra bobby-pins she left with me once on-site (lifesaver!) The whole process was stress free, with fast communications, and I especially appreciated the email confirmation which lined out next steps right after reserving! Rob- Thank you for being so nice, cool, and professional through our emails! I felt heard and you corrected things on the contract as soon as I mentioned the errors. You answered all of my questions clearly and made booking with y'all a breeze. If I ever need hair and makeup services in Vegas again I will not hesitate to book through y'all. Alexis- My makeup artist for the most special day of my life thus far. I love your calm energy that truly matched my own. I was nervous about makeup because I rarely wear it, your energy calmed my nerves and I was able to trust that your hands would make magic. I was wowed by the masterpiece you created out of me lol I truly felt like a queen! I tend to write more detailed reviews about hair salons because my hair has always been a big deal for me. I have very curly, frizzy, coarse hair that tends to puff up and look much fuller than it actually is. It is definitely not the kind of curly hair that naturally falls into pretty, defined curls. Without blow-drying or straightening, it can get very unruly and hard to manage. I have been dealing with this hair for decades, so I have had more haircuts, blowouts, straightening treatments, and salon visits than I can count. Because of that, I can usually tell when someone really understands how to work with difficult curly hair. I wore short hair when I was younger, but after a bad experience, I avoided it for decades. About six months to a year ago, I decided to try a bob again. At first, I felt like the only way I could really manage it was by getting a straightening treatment about every six months. Since I also color my hair, I did not want to keep combining coloring and chemical straightening because of the damage it can cause over time. I decided to keep coloring my hair and stop the straightening treatments. Once more of my natural curl started growing back, though, the bob became harder and harder for me to manage. I was honestly starting to think I might have to give up on short hair and grow it out again. That was around the time I found this salon. What has impressed me most is how much easier my bob has been to manage since coming here, even without going back to regular straightening treatments. I am not especially skilled at styling my own hair, but after shampooing, I can now blow-dry and straighten it at home much more easily. The cut itself makes a huge difference. It also grows out really well, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. -- What really stands out to me is how well Risa listens. -- At every visit, she takes the time to ask how my previous haircut worked for me, what I liked, and whether there is anything I would like to change. I really appreciate that she listens to my feedback instead of simply repeating the same cut. I loved the shape of my last bob, but the back had been cut very short with clippers. Because my hair is coarse and pretty stiff, those very short hairs felt uncomfortable against the back of my neck as they grew out. Since I had not worn my hair this short in decades, I simply did not know my hair would react that way. I mentioned it to Risa, and this time she adjusted the cut and used mainly scissors and thinning shears instead of cutting the back so closely with clippers. I really appreciated that she listened to both what I liked about the previous cut and what I wanted changed. Most importantly, I love my bob again. The shape is clean, balanced, flattering, and very easy for me to manage. I also enjoyed the shampoo service. The brief scalp massage felt really relaxing and refreshing, and the salon itself always has a calm, comfortable atmosphere. My husband had his haircut again too, and his cut came out clean and polished, just like the previous visits. After three visits, it definitely does not feel like we simply got lucky once. The results have been consistently good for both of us. For me, a haircut that grows out well and stays manageable for two or three months, sometimes close to four, is absolutely worth the investment. Being able to maintain my bob this easily without relying on regular straightening treatments makes it even more valuable. That is why I keep coming back, and why I take the time to leave reviews. I booked Amelia C & Co. well in advance of my wedding in Las Vegas. I sent Rob my hair and makeup inspo pics approximately a month before the wedding and he advised he would make sure the team had them. Aimee, my makeup artist, and I exchanged text messages the night before the wedding. I gave her the hotel information and then she asked me what I had in mind for my hair and makeup. I was a bit surprised because I had sent that over a month previous to Rob who said he would make sure the team had it. Nevertheless, I texted her my inspo pics. Aimee and Karen showed up at 12:30 p.m. my appointment time, set up and got to work. I told Karen that my hair did not hold a curl well to which she replied, "challenge accepted". Both ladies were done in an hour. While my makeup was nice it was not exactly what I had envisioned and was quite minimalistic. I had wanted a really glam look. She did not line my lips and my lipstick kind of smudged over my lip line even before the ceremony. Also, there was not enough glue on my false lashes or none in the corner because they lifted in the corners before the ceremony. Regarding my hair, Karen really did not even come close to the inspo photos I had sent. While I was aware that because my hair was fine, it would be difficult to achieve exactly what was in the photos, there was literally no volume at all, and my hair was pretty flat. I would have thought a bunch of backcombing would have given me more volume in the front and sides but none of that was done. She put my headpiece on while I had my eyes closed waiting for the glue on my false lashes to dry and was totally not where I had wanted it placed. She had moved it slightly after I asked but still was not where I had wanted it. I wish she had consulted me prior to placing it. I was worried about moving it too much after it was placed because I didn't want my hair to get even flatter. All in all, my hair and makeup were done just okay and I don't think it was worth $300. read more

I got married in Vegas on Halloween and am so pleased that I selected Amelia C &Co as my hair and make up stylists for the day. As I am from the UK I had to select many of my wedding vendors based solely on Internet reviews. During this process, Amelia C & Co were the clear choice for hair and make up as I could not find one adverse review. The booking process was straight forward and I booked for hair styling for myself, my mother and my bridesmaid. I also booked for make up for myself. Communication with Amelia C & Co was always quick and easy. Rob was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The awesome Bianca was allocated as our stylist for the day. She arrived slightly early in order to get set up and soon had our styling underway. As she came to our suite in the hotel, there was no hassle involved so it was just another thing which made the day more perfect. Bianca took the time to understand what we were all looking for in our styling for the day as well as asking about our usual styling routines. We were all super impressed with the final results and everyone at the wedding commented on how great the three of us looked. I was truly overwhelmed with the perfect job that Bianca did on my make up as I truly felt like a princess. Bianca exactly captured the classic retro look that I was aiming for and also taught me that I can still wear false lashes - even with glasses! Bianca was professional yet chatty and friendly. I used Amelia C & Co for my wedding on 7th June 2016. From the moment I decided to book them, I was happy I had made the correct choice. Living in the UK I was worried it would be hard to contact and communicate with them, however Rob was so efficient in responding and also very helpful and friendly in his emails, I felt instantly at ease. We had 3 girls on the day, Alana (Make up), Daileny and another lady (for hair). There were 5 of us in total for hair and make up, including bridesmaid, mother of the bride plus 2 female guests. On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time, were all very friendly, set up fast and got to work on us right away. I had a couple of photo's for my makeup, although I wanted a natural look, I was happy to go with Alana's recommendations and have something lighter than I had shown her (the look on my photo was actually too dark for me). The quality of the make up was lovely and I really loved the look when she had finished. Daileny set my hair in curls as I needed to wash it in the morning (though I hadn't planned to) and my hair is naturally very straight. She was very patient with me, as I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair to look, so we tried a few styles and I was extremely happy with it in the end. My hair lasted all day and I was even able to wear the waves the next day without washing or brushing out. I booked Amelia C & Co for getting my makeup done without having a trial and I couldn't be happier! I am from Atlanta, GA and I wasn't sure what makeup agency to choose, so I had to go by who was recommended to me from my hotel venue. I was assigned Melissa and she was all that and more!!! I strongly recommend Amelia C and Co to all!!!! They were professional from start to finish!! They showed up on time too, which is very important on your big day! They have impeccable taste and knew exactly what my sister and I needed. I was kind of skeptical about having someone I didn't know doing my makeup and hair. Turns out my worries were for nothing. The makeup matched my skin flawlessly. My hair was not only perfect, it stayed up all day and night, which is an amazing feat!!!! The whole experience was very pleasant, insightful and peaceful. Amelia did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup for my wedding last month. She was very helpful and prompt in replying to my e-mails for the months leading up to the big day and even made some great recommendations for various beauty products. On the day of the wedding, she arrived a few minutes early and jumped right into action. She brought the photo of the hairstyle that I wanted with her and did a wonderful job executing the partial updo. Her makeup technique was excellent and she did a fabulous job, especially with my eye makeup. All of the products that she used lasted all night, even after shedding many tears during the wedding ceremony. Another great thing about Amelia's service was that she worked very efficiently, but never seemed rushed or rattled my nerves that we needed to watch the clock. She was exactly on schedule and I had plenty of time to dress and relax before heading to the chapel. If you are anything like me, you will do tons of research to find the perfect hair and makeup artist for your wedding day. For the amount of money you pay, you should be getting excellent service, but this was not the case. I used this company for my wedding make up and hair and a few other people. My hair fell apart soon after the lady completed my hairstyle; I think she sabotaged it on purpose. The women that did my hair and make up thought that they were not going to get a full tip though I told them it would be placed on my credit card later. They decided to be very rude and act out by giving the middle finger to my guests who were with me as they exited. Though I tipped them, they did not deserve it. The hair stylist was demanding a big tip when most of the women she worked on had very short hair; very little work. The hair stylist was playing on her phone most of the time. The owner did not do anything about the situation after I reported it. For the price you pay, you are better off using another local company like "Make Up in the 702," etc. I wish I had used them instead. I think most of the good reviews on here are placed by their own company employees. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

Amelia C & Co lived up to all the amazing reviews I had read, and were one of the only companies I contacted who agreed to give me a trial on a Saturday in May (during a busy wedding season). Melissa and Daileny both kept in contact with me prior to arriving in Las Vegas to see if there was anything I needed or any concerns I had about the big day. After I arrived in Vegas, Melissa and Daileny came to me to do a trial run on the day of my Bachelorette party, and I looked amazing! Everyone commented on how great my hair and makeup was, and they were very quick too! On the day of the wedding, they were exceptional and Daileny even gave me the backs off of the earrings she was wearing so that I wouldn't lose my wedding earrings! Amelia C is such an awesome makeup artist and hair stylist. She is poised and professional. I did a trial run with her first to see how everything would go before the wedding. She asks you what your ideas are and what type of look you are going for. Ameila took it all in and created the look that I desired! Come wedding day, I was not stressed at all about my makeup or hair. We worked together to get the false eyelashes I wanted and even hair fillers/extensions. My hair is very fine, so to achieve the look I desired, I had to have them. She dyed the fillers/extensions to match my multi colored hair (brown/red/blonde) and no one could tell that I had extensions. She made me look fabulous, I got compliments all night, and the makeup stayed on ALL night and my hair did NOT budge! I loved Amelia so much that now she is my stylist and friend. I chose Amelia C based on all the positive reviews she had gotten on all the wedding websites. I was very nervous because I am a control-freak, but I had no way of seeing my hair and make-up before the wedding because I live in NH, and was having my wedding in Las Vegas. I had gone to my personal hairdresser for a trial run of my hairdo and I was kind of upset to see that my hair was not the same as the picture I had shown. The day of my wedding Amelia arrived 20 minutes early and went over my hairstyle with me. Allana also arrived to do make-up. When these two ladies were done with me I looked like I could have walked a runway!! I felt so gorgeous. An added bonus was that both Amelia and Allana were so friendly and easy to talk to...I couldn't have had a better experience! I found Amelia C & Co via Instagram about 3 weeks before I was headed to Vegas where my now husband and I decided on a whim we would elope. I was doubtful they would have anyone available but I reached out and Rob responded within minutes confirming they had a hair and makeup artist available. I changed the time two times from my initial confirmation and they were able to make the adjustments without a question. Hayley and Lindsay, the hair and makeup artists, arrived at my hotel at exactly the time slotted and were so friendly and professional. Hayley was in contact with me before hand and we communicated on where to meet (which changed numerous times because the hotel was being difficult) , she was so flexible with this and showed up on time and ready to go. I was nervous because I have had not so great experiences in the past with getting hair and makeup done (the dreaded 80's hair and hooker make up) yet these ladies made me and my bridesmaids look like a million dollars! Rob was prompt and professional right from the time I requested a quote up to the weekend of the wedding, working with me to accommodate a change in ceremony times and add extra services. Planning my Vegas wedding from Ireland, I booked Amelia C after doing a google search and they were one of the first companies to come up. I could not be happier with the result, they were brilliant! I wasn't able to do hair or makeup trials as I didn't travel out to Vegas until a couple of days before the wedding and even on the day, I still hadn't decided exactly how I wanted my hair and makeup done. Absolutely amazing!!! Our makeup artist canceled the morning of my sister's wedding, and despite their team scrambling, no replacement could be found in time. My sister, the bride, was in tears hours before her ceremony. Several of us lost part of the morning trying to solve it instead of finishing wedding prep. We were only saved by a friend who happened to be nearby. When I pushed back afterward, the CEO responded personally, explained the timeline, and issued a full refund plus a credit. I'll give them that -- the response was better than most companies manage. But none of that changes what the morning of the wedding actually looked like, and none of it changes that their website promises coverage they cannot always deliver. If you're booking them for a wedding or any event you can't reschedule, ask directly what happens if your artist cancels same-day, in writing, before you pay a deposit. Don't assume the guarantee on their site means what it says. I want to correct the public record here. In response to my review, the owner stated that I "didn't respond" to their email, which is why she posted the CEO's full response publicly. That isn't accurate. I replied to that email on 9/22 at 2:53 PM Eastern, the same day I received it. I'm noting the exact time so there's no ambiguity about what happened. On the original issue: our makeup artist canceled the morning of my sister's wedding with limited notice, and despite the team's efforts, no replacement could reach us in time. My sister, the bride, was in tears hours before her ceremony, and several of us lost part of the morning scrambling instead of finishing wedding prep. The company did refund the service in full and extended two service credits, along with a personal apology from the CEO, and I want to be fair and acknowledge that. But their website advertises a "backup guarantee" and "national coverage with backup options" without disclosing that a same-day emergency can fall outside what that guarantee can actually deliver. If you're booking for a wedding or any event you can't reschedule, ask in writing what their same-day contingency plan looks like before you pay a deposit.

I understand having to pay for the time that I've used, but to have to forfeit 90% because of a cancellation that was beyond my control is baffling to me. I keep 90 days cancellation, and no part of that money will be returned be worn and make sure that your contract shows that you will receive some of the money back.
