There were a lot of choices for makeup for myself and my wedding party, but Amelia C. and Co came highly recommended by both the knot and other Las Vegas brides I've talked to. Booking with them was a cinch. I reached out and quickly got a reply from their booking manager, where we handled all the details (how many people, general style I wanted, how many for hair vs. makeup, etc.). We secured the wedding date and time, and then also set a date for a trial hair and makeup (additional, but I highly recommend doing this to give you a chance to take notes, see it after several hours, and make adjustments to your final look). Katie and Aimee were the hair and makeup dynamic duo for both my trial and wedding day, and they were both so friendly and a breeze to work with! They both treated me like an old friend, and were great with our kids and our mothers. After the trial I had a few notes for hair and makeup, and they made those adjustments for the actual wedding day, and I LOVED my look. One of our daughters was very timid, and they treated her with so much kindness and patience. One of our moms was so nervous (had never done hair and makeup before), and they helped her feel comfortable and find a style that wasn't over the top for her tastes - she was raving the whole night about how amazing she felt and looked! You would think eloping to Vegas would be easier but it's not always the case. Rob made me feel comfortable with the initial process right away. I couldn't have asked for a better hair and makeup experience than the one I got from Amelia C and Luci. Luci was punctual, friendly, smart, and very knowledgeable about vintage hairstyles and make up. She did the hairstyle I wanted for my wedding day, with a reference photo of a woman with much shorter hair, and made it look amazing on my longer hair too! My experience with this company and the hair/makeup artists were amazing! Most of my communication via email was through Rob who responded quickly and professionally. My makeup artist was Alexis and let me tell you... this woman is so great! She took her time and made sure I 100% liked my makeup. She listened to me and adjusted anything I needed without feeling offended. My wedding was in early July in Vegas and it was so hot but my makeup never melted off. I actually went to sleep without wiping my makeup off and the next morning it was still perfect! Alexis was so easy to talk to and really hyped me up for my special day. Love her!!
