My husband and I moved to Las Vegas this week and decided to get haircuts. We did checkin times on the app. Carolyn and Olivia greeted us when we arrived. Carolyn took my husband and I had Olivia. Both were friendly and professional and welcomed us to Las Vegas. I asked for a shampoo as well as cut and Olivia suggested a Paul Mitchell mousse that was hydrating and great to help control my frizz. I bought it because I didn't have any hair products yet, so her suggestion was appreciated. We were pleased with our cuts. I also bought some tea tree shampoo, love that stuff. Only leaving one star because I have to. I feel horrible I took my husband to get his hair cut we were in a pinch and they had an empty lobby. My husband showed the lady a picture of what he wanted which was a simple fade keeping his hair long on top and a little shorter on the sides her reply was "I'm not a barber so it won't look exactly like that and that should have been the first red flag but we were in a hurry so he sat down. Before we could even say anything she started cutting from the middle of his head and made him bald completely on the sides and gave him what looked like a military cut and totally ignore everything he asked for and did what she wanted. As a stylist that's lazy and uncalled for she should really consider going back to school to brush up on some skills because clearing it is needed. Been coming here for about 2 years and always have a great experience. Located next to Albertsons and across from the McDonald's. Because of my work schedule I usually just walk in. Even as a walk in, I never had to wait too long for a haircut. I had multiple people cut my hair here and they are all good but when I need it to look amazing, there is nobody I trust more than Chantel. She always makes me look great for the occasion. Prices are fair and they usually shampoo your hair before the cut and style it after. Will continue to come and I recommend this place for anyone looking for a haircut. read more

She wanted to soak my hair; I didn't want my hair soaked. I think that ticked her off. She proceeded to run her comb through my hair very roughly. Repeatedly scraped it up across my forehead. (Weird, wtf?) Then, rather than giving me layers like I asked, she only gave me a basic trim. THEN she told me she wouldn't give me a full layer because with my hair texture, it would look like an afro. In the years I've had my hair cut, ALWAYS getting layers, no stylist has ever given that excuse. Retaliatory and inept; here's your warning. read more

I came here for my daughter to get a quick haircut. We were immediately greeted and told it wouldn't be too long. We didn't wait long at all before we were called back. The lady was super friendly and asked me what I wanted for my daughter and then she went to work. My daughters haircut came out pretty good overall. In the end she wished it was it a little bit more A-Line, but it is cute and off her shoulders, which is exactly what she needed for the summer! My only pet peeve about this place would be that the glass shelves in the front waiting area where they have all the hair products for sale were absolutely filthy! They were in desperate need of a good windexing and dusting!! But as I was drafting my review the lady that was working at the front started cleaning the glass shelves! What a joke. My wife was getting gel nails next door at Pink Nail Salon (awesome place, by the way), and I strolled next door to find out the wait time at SuperCuts. The lady behind the counter said it would be a 45 minute wait, so I put both our names on the list. We returned forty minutes later, checked in, and had a seat. For the next hour, we watched a parade of appointments and walk-ins enter the salon and be taken ahead of us. When a lady (obviously a regular) strolled in and asked one of the stylists "Do you have time to do a cut?" And the stylist replied "Sure, come on back." The first time we had both been given decent haircuts in a reasonable amount of time (ignoring the stylists bad mouthing a customer who had just left. Don't Allow TALIYA to cut your hair. Have been here several times and Jamie does a good job. TALIYA cut my hair this time, not only was the cut BAD but she was both unprofessional and extremely rude. From the minute I sat in the chair she had the worst attitude even though I spoke both respectfully and politely regarding my cut. This is my go-to place for haircuts. No matter who cuts my hair it's always of consistent quality. At some other places it's a toss up whether you're going to get a good haircut or not based on who is up when your name is called. $15 for a normal haircut here or $10 for a buzz cut. The only downside is that sometimes the line can get a little long, but you can always call ahead to have them put your name down as well. read more

Every time I walk into this place there are a bunch of women standing around doing nothing. They spend more time checking people in than they do cutting hair. Today was probably the sixth time I walked in there, sat down and waited. Seems like they really don't want to cut hair, I'm confused. Their wait times are ridiculous. This is the place I've been taking my 3 year old to for his cuts. Amber is amazing with kids, as is a few of the other stylists there (don't know the names). While getting haircuts with toddlers can often be a challenge in the best of circumstances, amber was able to keep my little guy calm for his most recent cut. The staff here is friendly and patient with the kids. The business is remarkably clean and inviting. The parking lot isn't the best though. Keep a close eye on the traffic going through to the other businesses if you have a fast moving little one with you. read more

After today's appointment I know that I will never use Gina's services again, ever! (Gina McConnell full name at North Durango location)When talking to me, she sounded stressed out with very unfriendly attitude. As soon as I sat down to wait , she told me that if my child's hear tangles, she would not cut her hear. I was shocked that she made me feel so unwelcomed. I waited anyway. She looked at my child's hair, it turned out that my daughter's hair "was not so bad" as she said, and I let her finish trimming my child's hair. I did not want to escalate the situation for the way she was talking to me. I just wanted to get out of that place, because I could no longer stand her attitude. In the past, All previous hairdressers had great approach to my kid, and Gina sounded stressed out the whole time. If she was having a bad day, she should not be coming to work. In early 2018, this Supercuts moved from its former location next to Albertsons to its current location next to Walgreens. I'd been going there for 5 years. Much changed just before the move and afterwards. Prior to the move, they had a mass exodus of their top hairstylists, who quit due to problems with the management. This high turnover rate continued after the move across the street. One of the reasons was due to the poor physical layout of the new interior. Compared to other Supercuts (and the previous location), the new space is MUCH smaller, yet there are MORE seats and everyone is crammed together. It is hard for the hairstylists to move around (I was told) and it is also uncomfortably cramped for me as a customer. In sum, it is amazing how fast this Supercuts has gone downhill in such a short period of time (less than a year). Despite being located very close to me, and after years of patronage, I now avoid it completely and drive across town to a much better reviewed Supercuts that doesn't have all these problems. read more

Don't waste your time on call ahead......obviously doesn't work. I have been frustrated on at least three occasions on how long the wait is, whether you call ahead or not. Only reason me and my boys come to this location is convenience. I do think they do a great job when it comes to cutting our hair, but the idle chit chat and lack of urgency when it comes to taking care of clients when they are busy drives me insane. We came in the store and were told of a 20-minute wait. We have been waiting for 50 minutes patiently then my fiance had to use the restroom. He was in the restroom for 2 minutes when they called him, I advised them that he just stepped in the bathroom. They told me that he will be called as soon as he comes out. They called two other customers who came in after us and as soon as he stepped out, they told him that he will be called next which we had to wait another 20 minutes. As we complained about the initial 20 minute waiting time became 50 minutes and the extra 20 minute wait, the lady name Chantal said that they had to keep it moving. We totally understand that but what about us who have been waiting patiently more than the wait time they told us? So, it is okay for us to wait but they can't wait a minute or two for call of nature? We had to be somewhere but because of the extra 50-minute wait, we had to change plans that day. The Lady name Naomi who gave him a haircut was nice enough to apologize about what happejed. They just lost 5 customers because of their customer service. Although, this location is convenient for us, we would rather go to a farther location than deal with this horrible customer service. read more
