I placed my name in line on the mobile App. Initially, it said I had a 43 minute wait. I checked back a little later and I had a31 minute wait. I needed a couple items at the grocery store located next to the GC storefront. It took me 10 minutes to drive over and 10 minutes to shop. When I was done, the app told me I had 50 MINUTES STILL TO WAIT!!! How is that possible?? Logically, it means other names were put in front of me. I went to Supercuts across the street. After finishing there, I drove home and was working for 15 minutes or so when I received a text stating I should be at Great Clips in 15 minutes. I canceled. This problem needs to be addressed immediately. read more

A lot of people come here for Bri and apparently she was let go, it sounds like due to a personality issue with the manager. Additionally, they apparently don't allow you to request the stylist you want anymore because they were tired of people coming in and asking for Bri. Great Clips management needs to recognize that people build relationships with stylists, and requests are commonplace in this field. No one wants to feel like they are walking in and being "processed" by a corporate machine. Relationships should be encouraged and fostered and requests should be completely accepted (customers tend to understand they will have to wait to see their preferred stylist). Very disappointed in this location and will follow Bri instead. I'm not loyal to the Great Clips corporate brand. I'm loyal to good people. read more

Awkward online check ins, slow service, but these people trying their best. Needed a haircut Sunday around 3:30pm. Checked in online with a 15 minute estimated wait. 15 minutes wasn't that long so I hung around the plaza until I noticed my check in disappeared. Came into the barber shop with a full waiting lounge and 2 workers. My estimated appointment was at 4pm but I didn't get seated until 4:40pm. I heard a lot of customers have confusion over the online check in also, they should just get rid of it all together if it's not working properly. My haircut was fine and all the workers seemed nice. Overall, wasn't too happy with the wait but these people are just trying to do an honest job and make a living. The problems with the online check in wasn't any of the workers fault. Walked in to get my son's haircut last minute. They said that theres a 30 min wait. They informed me that they would text me once 15 min away. No texts. We came back and they were able to cut his hair. I asked if they can clean the lines, the lady said no that she's not a barber. I didn't know and I understood but I felt like she was kinda rude about it. My son's haircut was nice. The price is reasonable at $12 for boys. They take your temperature and have you wash your hands when you come in and masks are required. read more

you definitely get what you pay for when you come here, if you're looking for one size all around then this is definitely the place to come to but not anything else. My husband brought my son in to get his haircut for the first day of school & sent me these pictures back. He had obvious lines in his hair from not being faded properly & was lined up terribly on one side (never asked for a line up to begin with) & cut off a decent amount of hair, you can tell by how white his hair line is right there. Not only that the top of his head was left extremely choppy from being trimmed with the scissors & not blended well at all. I did give the shop a call after I received the pictures to see if anything can be done to fix it & thankfully the lady on the phone told me to just bring him in & it would be fixed. Mind you, I haven't received an apology for this job at all at this point. The picture without my son's face being covered is the haircut after it was fixed, granted it does look MUCH better than it did before but there was no fixing his half line up. Even after I had thanked the stylist for fixing it, an apology was still never received. I can positively say, I have never had a good experience at any great clips & some much needed intervention needs to be done at these establishments. This was my final straw with great clips. If you have to spend a few more dollars at another shop DO IT, I wish i would have looked at these reviews before taking my son in. The 2 stars is for being able to take my son back in to fix the mistake of the other hairstylist but I would've loved to have been met with more compassion & understanding. read more

I'm so glad they opened this location! I used to go to the one down the street on Durango/Elkhorn but that one gets super packed sometimes! Plus this one is a lot closer to me! Win win! They've been running a grand opening special here the last couple weeks to promote the new store. Come take advantage while you can! It doesn't seem as packed here, and they seem to be pretty efficient thus far with lots of stylists working each shift, so wait times aren't too bad. Hopefully that continues even after the grand opening promo/rush runs out. Also be sure to check in online to get on the wait list ahead of time! I've been a fan of great clips for a simple haircut. They allow for online check-in which I do before I leave the house and never wait more than a few minutes. Sometimes the cut is better with different stylists. I have been to multiple locations over the years and I like this one so I will continue to return for my future haircuts. By far the WORST experience I've ever had attempting to get a hair cut. The guy refused to do my hair because I didn't "know exactly what I wanted him to do". been coming here for like 3 years and it wasn't until today that i won't be coming here anymore for absolutely ruining my hair and having a bad interaction with one of the staff. Lady i never seen before was gonna help me fix one of my haircut that i got Monday (from someone else) as it was left too long. Told her to do a 2 on the back, she suggested a 4 and that's what happened. That was a good suggestion, the back was definitely better than before but it was the blending of the hair and how fast she was cutting to fix it was the problem. She went all in with the 4 everywhere, all over the back including my calic, she cut over the back of my bangs that didn't need to be cut to blend it but she just cut the back part cuz i told her i didn't want the bangs to be cut, but assuming the front wasn't going to look weird. i'm assuming bc she was doing a rush job (even though they close at 7, i was there at 5:40.) it looked good after she finished, which was prob 3.5 minutes. Went back to the car and the cut looked bad. My the back end of my bangs were just gone, she cut over the calic which is gonna make the back of my hair just spike up. It was a terrible blend job, and the haircut i had was done for. I was able to get in a quick haircut with friendly service while traveling. I had my dog with me, and was able to walk him around the outdoor area behind the shopping center while waiting, which worked out well. The staff were friendly. My son had a haircut appt. All of my kids had masks on, we washed our hands and I went to sit next to my daughter in a chair since we're in the same household and one of the employees stated that I could not sit beside my own daughter due to social distancing. I said we are in the same family so it doesn't pertain to us. She continued to argue with me that I could not sit in the chair next to my own daughter, even though we both had masks on and weren't anywhere near anyone. The employee stated that my daughter and I could go sit outside to wait for my sons haircut to be finished, if we wanted. Again, I said why is this such a big deal to sit next to my own child and actually free up an additional space that would be taken by myself if I was 6feet away from my daughter. The employee then went to call someone on her phone (assuming a manager) and 3 minutes later, after ending the phone call, was asking if I wanted my sons haircut the same as the last time. What exactly just happened here? Why was all that necessary? We were following all Covid mandates and expectations of social distancing. I should be able to sit next to my own 8 year old daughter in my own family. I still tipped the employee for my sons haircut because she provided a service. Got home, and saw that there were places along the shaved part of his head that were not completely even with the rest of his head. My bad for not double checking. read more

My grandpa, son and I went to get a hair cut checked in online. As we were waiting there an old crippled man that came in and Pam told him an hour wait. She said you can come back tomorrow.I then said to Pam he can take my sons spot and I'll pay for it.Pam then said they can't do that it not fair to others. it was very sad because you can tell it took a lot for that man to get there and he looked defeated as he made his way out. Been bringing my 12 year old son here every 3-4 weeks for about 6-9 months. Service from stylists have been good/decent. Today I checked in online and "Bri" was our stylist. I have struck gold finding her. Her way of cutting a boys style is absolutely perfect. My son has two evil cowlicks and she was able to work around them and pretty much cover them! Amazing work! I took my son for a haircut after salons opened up during the coronavirus pandemic at great clips in Las Vegas on farm road. I was not allowed to stay in with my son even though no other customers were in the salon at the time. Just a heads up to anyone going here. Do not go to the older black woman for a cut. She had a horrible attitude and didn't listen to any of my instructions. I asked her for a low fade and pointed side burns and to leave the top. I had to repeat myself 4 times asking for a side comb and she did not understand. First cut she made went straight to the top of my head.. She shaved my sideburn straight and said "Oh wait you wanted pointed, I'll fix that no problem".. my fade is patchy in all areas.. she was barely even looking at my head when she was cutting my hair.. I cut the hair cut short not letting her chop away what was left. She made my fade so high it passed where my side comb is supposed to part. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY she took a solid 8 minutes to cut my hair.. keep in mind there was 0 people in the shop. No need to rush at all. I've went to another great clips on Decatur and I sure regret not going there again. I don't remember what the lady's name is but I sure do miss her lol. Here's a pic of what I walked out with.. I went to Great Clips today at 8414 Farm Rd today...their checkin on line crashed this morning so I opted to go to Centennial Hills Barber Shop close by...upon arrival 11 patrons waiting, no masks, and 3 out of 4 operators no masks...I walked out and reported it to Metro Police as well as the state NV License Bureau for an abysmal failure to comply with our Governors's direction...I called ch 13 as well from the parking lot when I left. Great Clips took my temperature upon arrival (their system for online checkin returned to normal), NONE was left to physically wait in the shop, chairs were visibly disinfected, all operators wore a mask and most patrons...great hair cut! Very disappointed by today's experience. Upon entering I was very put off by Elizabeth's demeanor toward her clients as well as her overall attitude. She spoke to her clients in a patronizing tone and made it clear that she did not care what their requests were. One client asked for a metal guard on the shaver and she said she didn't do metal only plastic. Another patron asked for a 4 or a 5 on the sides of his hair and her response was well which one is it? At one point she was putting a broom away and it fell when she was walking away, she threw her hands up in the air and said oh well whatever and left it for another stylist to put away. When it was my children't turn I was fortunate enough to get Amber who was great with my children and very friendly. However, while my first son was getting his haircut, Elizabeth was calling for someone named Scott and then got my attention to say she was ready for my son. I told her that my son isn't named Scott and she looked at the computer and then said it says Scott with your last name. I reiterated that I do not have a Scott in my party. So she went on to call the next child. Another stylist came up to see how my youngest son had gotten skipped over and figured out that Elizabeth had grouped the wrong children and parents together when she was checking out her earlier clients. I asked for a very particular cut and she did her best to give me exactly what I was looking for. Even after getting home and noticing a few things that I wanted to be changed, I went back and she and her manager Kristina took very good care of me and made sure I was 100% happy with it.
