We walked in and the barbers were very welcoming. My brother is super picky and this is one of the places he trust. Decided to let my 7 year old boy get a fresh cut and he came out looking like a little man. I usually take him to great clips lol. While cutting my son started to look around and was tired of sitting, kids can be a pain in the butt to work with when trying to cut, so I appreciate the barbers patience. I was in town visiting my sisters-in-law and niece, in between business trips and needed a haircut. We stopped by Fade 'Em All for a haircut. I got to the door and realized it was almost 6, and they were closed. I went to walk away, and Q opened the door to ask how many people needed cuts, and I was afraid to tell her all three...but to my surprise, she said okay! She was the only one there, and was finishing her last customer. We were extremely pleased with all three haircuts, along with all the great natural hair tips. Place is clean Never too busy Bad cuts Unprofessional First visit, Zordon asked for a specific style and cut. The female barber did almost the opposite. Second visit was even worse. She never listens to anything the client says. Worse haircut he's ever had. I actually laughed when i saw him. So my kid went in there in the morning to make an appt. He was out of school, they wouldn't make an appt because they thought he was ditching. I went in to make an appt for him. We have been there one other time and the guy says call me on my cell phone, well for 3 weeks now his shop and cell phone mailbox has been full. I am BEYOND happy with the work that Hersh did with my hair. Both sides of my head are shaved and I normally just get a boring, plain shave. No design, etc. I've been looking for a great barber shop and man O man am I happy! I wanted a new look and some fresh deaigns. Hersh went to work and did his thing! He freestyled/freehanded the designs. I have found my "go to" guy. Please check this place out and give them a try if you want a simple clean look or a nice new design/look. Tried this place out when I first shaved my hair off. All I wanted was a simple star. I asked the barber(forget his name but he had dreads) if he was good at designs. He responded that he was. What I received was the most horrible looking star I've ever seen in my life. Literally a 6 yr old could have done better. I ended up having to wear hats and head scarves until my hair grew over that horrendous design!! He knew it looked bad but didn't offer to fix it or comp me for the cut. I will NEVER go to this shop again. It sucks because they are the only Black Barbers in Centennial Hills so now i'm forced to go all the way down to the valley just for a stupid haircut. read more

I just went this afternoon and usually wouldn't rush write a review right away but knowing there is only a one star review I feel I have a duty to. I take yelp to heart, and I've wanted to find a local shop for a while since relocating to Centennial from the Paradise area. When I saw this place after going to the nearby Taco Bell a few months ago I made a new mental note to look it up because it looked pretty promising. After seeing the only, poor review, I strayed from the idea. Fast forward to today, not feeling like driving far too another shop, I decided to take my chances (which I never do usually after seeing a bad rating on yelp). There were a few other options, but with a name like Fade 'em All, I wanted to take my chances because I felt like it was more what I was looking for compared to other nearby shops. I'm glad I took the chance. I'm going to keep it real, this is a barber shop, and the name of the place is Fade 'em All. Not trying to be a dick, but if you've never seen anyone but Sally from Super Cuts and you're not exactly familiar with (black) barber shop culture, unless you're open minded, this place mayyyy not be for you. Now if you want a place with a good vibe where you'll get a great fade, trim, beard trim, line up etc and even a good laugh, this place was great I walked in and Darius (sorry if misspelled) took care of me right away. First time coming to this barbershop. It had a good vibe to the place. The two barbers that were there we're friendly as I walked into the place. I didn't have an appointment scheduled but they still took me in since it was around closing time. The barber I had was pretty cool. I asked for a taper fade hair cut and turned out the way I wanted it to be. I'm really picky when it comes to barbers especially for a particular cut and he did a great job. This review is for Hershey ... I hope this saves others $ and time dealing with this guy. Don't pay for his time . He doesn't care about your time or money. I went to this barbershop off of a recommendation from. Family member . Though I drive pass this place daily on my way to work I never knew it existed . Hershey is terrible;this man walked in after I told him I was specifically there and told me to wait 15 mins while he ate his chipotle. Most barbers would say f -it and go for the money. I watched him plop down in the clients area and pull up a tv table to eat on and casually ate his chipotle. Clearly at this point I realized A that he could care less about me let alone the money that was going to come his way. Another customer came and and the barber with the dreads cut him up and did a great job 30 minutes later after 15 minutes promised Hershey was still busy eating and watching tv on his phone while texting . As soon as the barber with the dreads finished his client I jumped up and got in his chair . Hershey was like I told you to be patient I will take care of you . I went off on him and let him know about his lack of professionalism and courtesy to members of the military . We went back and forth for 5 minutes with him giving excuse after excuse . Don't go here there are other barbers who are ready to make money ..... I'd rather travel 25 miles to spring mountain and valley view than spend another dime or time here . Just stopped by for the first time. The place had a real good vibe and everybody was super chill. I was greeted by every barber in the shop and they made me feel right at home. There's some shots on the wall of cuts with crazy designs as well as nice fades and shape ups (as we call them on the east coast). Margo did I great job with my hair and beard. She gave me a fade on the sides with a nice taper in the back, and shaped up the front. She took good care of my beard too, straightened it up, and did a Decent fade on it. I made an appointment at 1pm and showed up promptly. The lady who was supposed to do my hair was still busy with a customer, which was fine. But once she completed, she then took time to take pictures with her customers, take a bathroom break, and then proceeded to sweep cut hair across the shop (not just her station). Well, 15 minutes after my appointment time, I decided to stand up and address her, asking if she could complete that once we're done since she was already running late. She snapped back at me saying "let me tell you something..." rebuking me for being impatient with her. She told me that I had 30 minutes blocked off so it's OK if she's running 15 minutes late. Well...Obviously she doesn't know s**t about proper customer service. First of all, just because she has 30 minutes of time doesn't mean I her customer does. I could be (and actually was) pressed for time and my haircut would've taken no more than 10 minutes. But what does that matter... I'm "only" a customer. I guess in her mind I'm here for her and not the other way around. I just got up and left to look for a haircut elsewhere. Won't ever go back there again! read more
