I had been long overdue for a haircut and came in with no appointment. Madison took care of me, and had me seated in her chair within about 5 minutes of walking in the door! Madison did an awesome job, and we shared pleasant conversation during the cut. I would highly recommend booking with Madison for your next cut, you will not be disappointed! :) read more

This review is a bit overdue, but I got my haircut at the Garrison a few weeks back with Elliot, the owner, and let's just say, I walked out as a huge fan! I was definitely testing fate, as I was in town to officiate a wedding and couldn't make it to see my regular barber due to other obligations. After a quick search on Yelp, I stumbled upon the Garrison, read all the reviews, and gave them a call to see if they could squeeze me in next day on a holiday weekend in Vegas. Yup, testing fate for sure! From start to finish, Elliot took real care of me. He was thorough about what I was looking for, put me immediately at ease, and we had a nice chat about our lives and experiences. For such a busy city where things are moving so quickly in Sin City, he had a real gift of slowing time (in a cheesy, but good way). As for the haircut itself, 10/10, would go back again if I was ever in town and in need of a cut. I got a ton of compliments at the wedding! read more

The vibe of this place was awesome and I really appreciate the honesty and opinion from Martin on what would work with my type of hair. Great service from the moment I walked in everyone was really cool and I highly recommend checking this spot out. Left looking good and feeling better ! read more

Had a hair line up and beard trip with Chop. First time here, and will definitely come back every trip back to Vegas. He's good people and took care of me. The shop was great--clean and relaxed. Wanted to get cleaned up for our 5th wedding anniversary and a high school reunion this weekend. Chop did a great job! read more

I want to add this update, The Garrison made several attempts to get ahold of me, as I had previously stated..... which is why I wrote up the review of my experience..... What I didn't expect was to hear from the owner and have a discussion about my service and the short falls..... As he wants customer satisfaction..... He mentioned that my service will be used as a training tool and next time I am in town, he personally will make sure I leave with the service I was expecting and what he offers..... Once I get there, I will update review read more

When I first got to THE GARRISON they were about to close, the new hostess asked me if I wanted to come by the next day but I told her I was leaving and going back to San Francisco Bay Area the next day. There was this gentleman in the background who said "don't worry about it, I'll take him in even though we are closing". Unbeknownst to me, the kind gentleman whose name is ELLIOT is also the owner. This is hands down the best haircut experience ever in my whole life. Elliot took his time and I never felt rushed. Not only he is a great barber but he is also a great person. Even thought I live a state away, I will come back to him. I definitely recommend him to all my friends and family read more

Chop is always professional and on time. He takes his time to make all his clients feel comfortable and communicates well. He started off by asking me what I want and further elaborated to make sure he understood what I wanted. The cut came out clean. Multiple compliments by people. This was my first time coming here and I'll definitely be back. My old barber charged 1/2 but the cut quality was also probably 1/2. You get what you pay for. Instead of pushing clients out quickly, this place is more meticulous and somewhere you should go if you care about how you look! The fade was probably the crispest I've ever had in my life. A 20 minute cut usually turned into about an hour. 10/10 will be back regularly. read more

I stopped into The Garrison while in Las Vegas and somehow ended up with one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. Tara was my barber, and yeah... she made it look easy. I travel a lot and have been to every type of barbershops, and most of them charge a premium for a whole lot of attitude and not much else. This place is the opposite. From the second I walked in, everyone was genuinely welcoming, no ego, no nonsense, just good people who clearly know what they're doing. Prices are more than reasonable, especially for the quality. I walked out actually liking my haircut, which feels rare enough to mention. After almost 30 years of coming to Vegas, this is easily one of the better finds I've had. At this point I'm mostly just annoyed I can't bring Tara back to Los Angeles with me. read more

Walked in to get a haircut and was just amazed at the comfort and quality! Staff was very polite. Chop did an excellent job with a haircut. Will definitely return here when I'm back in Vegas read more

My son and I were looking for a spot to get shaves and haircuts. I got a full head & face shave. My kid got a haircut and a trim for his goatee. We were greeted quickly for our appointments and had a seat at the bar for some refreshments, since we were early. It was only a few minutes before they were ready for us.The place has a nice vibe and plenty of space. Martian did a quality job for me. After warning him of a bump and troubled thin spots, he made me look many times better than I normally do. Never hit the bump. Booking was easy and fast. Prices were fair. Which in LV is a rarity. It was a quality cut and trim. He knew I was smoking and I preferred silence. Even the music playlist is eclectic. Plays many types but all seemed to go together well. read more

I saw the Garrison on TikTok and the vibe and aesthetic are just as good in person! I had been growing my hair out over the years and decided to go in for the big chop. Martin responded to my comment and I was able to book my appointment that weekend. I've been going to the Garrison for the past few months and the service is amazing. Martin is phenomenal! read more

Well, first off they called and texted to "Phil" even though I told them my name was "Bill". My previous haircut was like Captain Pike's from Star Trek: Brave New Worlds, but I hadn't cut my hair for a couple of months. I showed "Chop" a picture and asked him to cut it that way again. He barely looked at the picture and then proceeded to massacre my hair, making it look nothing like what I had asked for. There was no part in it, and he just buzzed the sides all the way up instead of leaving it short on the sides with it buzzed underneath that. He didn't ask me about my sideburns and just cut them off when the picture I showed him had longer sideburns. I felt like it would do no good to complain, since the hair was gone and couldn't be restored. I paid and left. When I got home my wife told me my haircut looked awful, especially in the back. The vibe of the place is nice, but I went to them because they do "custom cuts" and I was willing to pay for one. I feel cheated and will not go back there again. read more

My wife and I went to Vegas for the weekend, and I needed a haircut. I checked Yelp for a highly rated barber near our hotel, Fontainebleau, and found The Garrisons. We decided to give them a try, and we're so glad we did. The shop was clean, trendy, and had a great vibe. My barber, Chop, was amazing. Being from California, my standards for a barber are pretty high, and he was absolutely on point. If you're in Vegas and need a professional cut, you should definitely give The Garrisons--and Chop--a try. read more

Absolutely love The Garrison!! Everything from the barbers to the aesthetics of this shop! First I must acknowledge the owner, Elliott for reaching out to me. I had a bad booking experience due to background, technical outside of his control. He owned it and we can start over. I am looking forward to my next trip to Vegas so I truly enjoy the experience they offer. I raised my rating to reflect his efforts. Don't let my rating based solely on a computer issue dissuade you from booking an appointment. I fully plan on visiting them on my next trip. read more

Tara at The Garrison is amazing! She did a fantastic job on my son's haircut and that's saying a lot because he has cowlicks everywhere! She was so patient, professional, and clearly very skilled. His haircut came out clean, sharp, and exactly what we hoped for. You can tell she really knows how to work with all hair types. We'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Tara! read more

One word.... Martin! I usually will wait for a few visits before I leave a review, if I do. But he hooked me up big time the last couple times that I have gone to see him. Checked out The Garrison with my wife today and we had a great experience. Martin did an excellent job on my beard trim, and Tara cut my wife's hair--both turned out fantastic. The shop has a really cool retro vibe and a relaxed atmosphere. Martin was efficient and read the room well--not overly chatty, which I appreciated. Great service all around. We were so happy with the experience that we already booked an appointment for my son with Tara. Looking forward to coming back for my next trim when it's time read more

Last minute same day service while traveling. Great shave from chop and the entire staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend for any barber services. My first stop next trip in a couple days back to Las Vegas. read more

Martin was amazing! I'm coming back every 2 weeks! (As per usual, so I'm told lol) - It's honestly crazy how amazing this place is. The skill and versatility shown is rare now days, but it thrives here. If you don't want a "modern cut", that is no issue here. Nostalgic af. - If you go to barbers normally, why not go here just to check it out? I think it's impossible to be disappointed at the experience. - I've had a few bad experiences in the past (at other places). Feeling intimidated or nervous to say the exact right thing. Being rushed to explain, or the barber appearing annoying at my explanation. I'm aware this is a personal issue.. - I called The Garrison and asked some awkward questions and instantly felt at ease by their responses. Bit the bullet and made the appointment. - When I sat in the chair and spoke to Martin, I knew this was the spot to be. He was patient and had no issue helping me figure out what I wanted. read more

Loved the barbershop and the barber. I got the haircut I actually wanted for the first time in ages. Will definitely be coming back!
