However, I didn't cry in front of her and I still have my man-card to prove it. When I was a young lad my father would take me for haircuts with a barber named Don. I climbed up the chair and sat my midget ass on a booster so he could give me a buzz cut. I'd sit there listening to my father and him talk as much shit as possible in the time allotted.       Back then I never understood it.       As I got older I switched from a barber to various salons. The cost of my cuts went from very basic to hours long with a multitude of crazy colors applied. Nuts. I'm happy my mother always taught me to take care of my hair. I miss the man bun days in Boulder sometimes, but I don't miss the 4-hour long stylist adventures. I'm grateful I still have it too, and I take care of it, like the rest of my body.       It's taken me forever to find a spot that has that same feel I had growing up. Have been looking for a new barber shop after moving to this side of town and am so relieved to have finally found a nice shop! Really well designed studio, they offer you water or soda from the fridge when you get there. Marco has cut my hair twice now and I've left very pleased both times. This is not a "cheap" shop. They give quality haircuts and shaves, hot towel treatments and even shampoo and rinse your hair out before styling it for you. They have options to get your feet massaged with an appointment though that's not really my thing. I will continue to come back and I'm happy to have found my new shop and barber read more

I came here because of the reviews. I just moved to Las Vegas a few months ago. I asked for a basic mid-fade and beard trim. This has been the WORST hair cut I have ever received. They charged me 88$. I was so upset I just paid it!! Somehow life will get them back. The torture of seeing the other barber finish 5 customers and I was still on that dam chair!!! First, this barbershop offers a lot of services that you cannot find in many shops. The owner is a wonderful lady and makes the clients feel welcome. The shop is spotless and has a great atmosphere. My only issue, and the reason I no longer drive 40 minutes to go there, is that the barber/stylists constantly leave. I had Serge for my first few visits, then Kevin, and finally Serge again after Kevin left. Then Serge went, and you are never told in advance that they have left. I then had Greg, who did one excellent cut. However, for the last cut, he failed to follow my directions on scissor cuts and used the electric shear excessively. I left with a close cut in the back and sides, which took months to grow out, allowing my new barber to get my hair back to the way I like to wear it. Greg does excellent cuts and he is master barber, but after driving 40 minutes and getting a cut that I did not ask for was the final straw for me. I recommend this shop if you're in the area and need services like waxing, nail care, massages, and trendy haircuts. read more

Most establishments offer some sort of incentive if you leave one, this is not the case at nobleman, I can assure you all of these reviews are organic. From the start Tanna was extremely pleasant and accommodating over the phone. When I arrived my barber Serg greeted me and confirmed the services. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I didn't exactly know what I wanted done and he guided me through the process. Hands down the best haircut and beard trim I've ever had. I came here for a beard trim. I found this business through Yelp. Greg, my barber, knew exactly what I wanted when I told him I wanted a beard fade. He did a great job, starting with clippers and doing the finishing touches with the shears and the straight razor. They also don't carry that err of Arrogance you sometimes find at other shops that makes it intimidating as a new client. I think that stems from good management and a great owner. As always, Sergey does not disappoint. I believe it is my third or fourth visit to this Quarters and have him do my hair. I'm that customer who doesn't know what haircut he wants, but I also do have moments that I do want a specific type of haircut. And damn, Sergey always nails it! From short hair to "can I get just a trim?" or "I have this pic that I think I would look good but I know I'm not Brad Pitt" and even today that I was like "I just want it to be proportion and have it blend on the sides (cause my hair was getting long and wavy) Sergey was patient and suggested style that was helpful. He just did it professionally and smoothly. Overall, the environment is relaxing and fancy. A bit pricey (because I got use to $25-$30 haircuts) but to be honest, everything is expensive. If you are looking for a barber or stylist there are both here. I was looking for a master barber, let me tell you what I found. Let's start with the shop itself. It's very secure and safe. It's appointment only, and you need to be buzzed in. I felt like a VIP about to experience something special. If you don't like attention to detail, this place is not for you. The person that checked me in was so nice and welcoming. I found out later that she is actually the owner. She was so humble and sweet, I felt like she was hosting me at her house. I got checked in, and met my master barber, Jay. He was welcoming, professional, hospitable, and funny. Everything you want in a cut. The detail...he's so old school/east coast. You just don't get this kind of treatment and detail everywhere you go. At the end he gave me a 360 view of my cut and showed me every last thing. I am so grateful I found this place.
