**Reposting my review as the owner chose to respond to my review by posting my personal information in a public forum, rather than call me to discuss. I'm done coming here. Was not pleased the first time I came here with my twin boys but decided to give them another try. This time was worse than the last!! I told our stylist NOT to cut bangs on my son, but leave long. I physically touched his hair to show her and also said to be conservative because we had a family photo shoot. She took of a TON to give him super short, dorky bangs! Unbelievable!! I straight up said, "why did you give him short bangs??"....she said, "just a little, like you said!!"....i told her, no I said don't make the front short!! I came in at 345 on 11/4/24.....one stylist listened to exactly what I wanted and the other (I believe English is second language) was the one who gave my son short bangs. I am contacting management for a refund- they can see before and after pics to see what kind of job was done! read more

I made an appointment for 10:00 AM and arrived 10 minutes early. They were behind and had an appointment that had not shown up. They said they would get me in right away. After a 20 minute wait, another 10:00 appointment showed up late. Eventually they completed the two cuts they were working on and took the 10:00 who showed up late ahead of me. I expected to get into the chair that was being set up for its next cut. Just as they were ready, Justin walked in and was immediately put in the vacant chair. The lady who cut my hair, Trinh, was amazing. I didn't know at all what I wanted when i came in and she just suggested something and did things her own way. In the end i loved how it turned out, she was really nice to talk to and just really sweet. I felt welcomed the second u walked in and I heavily suggest having her requested to cut your hair. Worst haircut ever - They completely ignored my requests and cut 1 1/2 inches more than requested. I asked for layers and received a bob. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, showed her the length I wanted, and ended up with a hideous, short haircut. I had to go somewhere else to fix it and will have to hide my head for months until it grows out. Would give minus stars if possible. read more

I had a horrible experience with the lady who cut my hair, my hair is completely ruined. I called her day after, because it was cut all wrong, uneven. I forgot her name, She didn't even listen which haircut I showed to her, she literally butchered my hair. I don't know how she became a hair stylist. She offered me to fix the hair, but it's chopped up so bad, I didn't go back because I didn't want to see her face again. Every time I see myself in the mirror, I feel sorry for my hair. I went in today as a walk-in, my disappointment was she really only worked on my hair for less than 10 minutes cutting the length to clean it up a little nothing was done anywhere else. So basically it was a simple trim that they called a cut and I still got charged $30 and I felt obligated and tipped. It was a little difficult to communicate with the person cutting my hair due to a little bit of her lack of English and then she was trying to talk to me when the blow dryer was at my ear. Just frustrating. I expected a little more for that money. I should've looked at the floor to see how much she actually cut off because it doesn't seem that much was cut off. I can't even tell that it's even in back. And though she used the blow dryer, I left and my hair was still wet. read more

The person cutting my hair did a terrible job. I asked her not to cut it to short and she did not listen at all to my needs. I do not recommend using this supercuts at all if they have staff that refuses to listen to what customers request. Also the cut was uneven and a terrible job. read more

Since writing my original review several months ago, I've been back a few times. Yesterday morning, I arrived about 15 minutes early to try and get that first spot; in, out, and the rest of the day is mine... Well, sort've. The front door was open, I walked in expecting to see Fariba but instead was greeted by Marsha. (On this particular Tuesday morning, Fariba was helping with coverage at another Laguna Niguel location.) Again, not very particular about my hair; I just hope my follicles keep doing their job and my hair continues to do what I've grown accustomed to which is NOT fall out. As previously mentioned, I've been here a handful of times and due to the consistency and service of both Fariba and Marsha, I felt that an update was in order. Supercuts has come a long way from times past when stepping into a shop was a spin of the wheel, flip of the coin, ragtop roulette... One would sit in the chair, take a deep breath, close his eyes, and hope it's not as bad as the customer he saw just walk out. It was a luck of the draw; never knew if you were getting a seasoned stylist or someone who up to a day ago was using a Flowbee, giving $5 haircuts in the garage. Child #2, eight years old, was well overdue for a haircut. We normally travel to Nice Hair Solon, about 5 miles up the freeway, but the schedule was packed, so I opted for this location, as it's closer to home on February 28, 2020. There was no wait and a staff member quickly signed us in and got the kid into the chair. All good so far. She asked what we wanted and I responded, "#1 on the back and sides. Good trim off the top. Where his part is, don't take the #1 up to the part, but leave the fade there." "No problem", was her reply. 15 minutes later she called me over to inspect and I wish I'd done a better job. The top trim was good. He had hair all over his face and neck, but they upcharge $6 for a shampoo. I thought she'd at least wipe him down on blow some off. Nope. The fade near his part was there...and then extended all the way around the back of his head??? Not wanting to make a fuss, I said all good. Now at the register, she asks, "How old is he?" I respond, "He turns 9 in November." "Ok, that will be $25," she says. Looking down at the sign, I question back, "This says $23 for "8 & under." "Oh no, that means 7 and below" is her come back. "Ma'm, it says 8 years old and below is $23." "No," it will be $25 for him. Not wanting to prolong the suffering any more, I say fine, pay the extra $2 and tip her a measly $2 in cash. Upon walking out in to the sunlight, it seems she couldn't be bothered to finish his haircut or trim his neck either. For perspective, we pay $9 for a kids cut at Nice Hair Salon, and they trim his neck. So I paid $16 more for a pretty bad experience. read more

The woman who cut my hair about a week and a half ago started ripping through my hair with a brush while it was wet trying to brush from top to bottom, after I explained I want to keep my length. I have spent over 4 hours individually trimming every split end she created by doing that. And I did have her stop brushing my hair because I'm so tired of "professionals" not actually being professional. She still caused damage. It's really a shame that the other superscuts in ladera shut down because they had decent stylists there. My new favorite place to come. I have gone to a lot of places for hair cuts, barber shops, salons and now Supercuts. I feel like they understand how to blend in short fades on the side without making everything look so harsh and sharp. This was my biggest issue when going to barber shops, as for the Salon they are just as good but double to price and usually not as friendly. Overall one of my favorite places to get a haircut for now. One awkward thing that happened was I asked to pull out $10 for tip, usually and without saying anything I am always given a $5 and 5 $1s. This guy just took the whole $10 and looked at me. I was honestly going to give it to him cause I really though it was the best haircut but that was just ridiculous that he assumed and took it. However, one bad/awkward time will not stop me from coming here because maybe he miss understood. read more

I went in for a trim and highlights. I didn't get the name of the woman who did my highlights but she did a terrible job. She left me under the dryer with the foil on for at least a half hour. Also she burned my scalp with the hot water when she was rinsing my hair. I told her it burned and she asked me what do I want hot or cold and I told her warm. I probably won't ever go there again. It's a shame because it was convenient. I just thought I'd share. I don't feel anyone should be treated like that. I can feel that my hair is ruined. Dry and brittle. I've been using a repair balm on my hair to repair it. Nothing seems to work. I'll just have to wait for the damaged hair to grow out. read more

The other day I went into Supercuts for a simple haircut and left with more than I bargained for. This stylist named Aaron made my day! He cut my hair, showed me how to style it properly and then explained to me how I can keep my hair more hydrated and soft. He wasn't trying to sell me anything just educate me. I walked in there feeling overwhelmed with Covid and my Covid hair and my Covid attitude. Between his sunny disposition and absolutely wonderful music he had playing I left there feeling like a million dollars. He made me laugh, educated me, and made me gorgeous. My first haircut was bad and the girl who did the job pulled my hair 2 times with the machine (I think machine was bad or something but that thing hurts.) Today couldn't get an appointment to my nearby saloon so I gave another try to this supercuts and I am glad I did it. It all depends on who is doing your haircut! Ask for Keri, she is awesome!
