She asked her coworker if he could do my quick cut and he was very rude to her "no no! Im done. I worked all day and im done." I said nevermind and left. The older bald man was such a dick to his coworker it disgusted me and i wasnt going to make her stay late to cut my hair because her coworker wasnt a team player and wanted to leave early. Ew. 1. Made an appointment this morning for 4:40pm, I arrived on time and she asked me to wait for 20 minutes while she finished up two other clients. The wait ended up being 30 minutes. I would've appreciated it if she just apologized and asked me to reschedule. 2. I asked for layers for my daughters hair. Below is the final result. Barely any layers and $21 to cut half an inch off the back. 3. Her hair was still wet, she didn't even fully dry it/blow it out. Very disappointed. Last time I went to get my hair cut was in 2019. Didn't want to drive to town, so I took a chance and decided to get my hair cut at Supercuts (a few stores away from Petco) in Kaneohe. Making an appointment online was easy and I chose to go with Deja since I saw favorable reviews of her on Yelp. I chose the Supercut III (shampoo, conditioner, haircut, blow-dry, style). Deja went to work on my hair and we were done in about 45 minutes. She was very pleasant, professional, and didn't talk too much. I know some people like stylists who talk throughout their haircut...I'm not that person. My bangs were trimmed just a tad bit short to my liking, but overall I'm satisfied with the haircut I got from Deja. I'll definitely come back again before this year is up to get my haircut. Side note: Salon was very clean and they've spaced out appointments so there's not a lot of people in the salon. read more

I went to get a partial highlight for my hair and the stylist barely spoke English, but the other stylist helped communicate and I decided to go forth with my partial highlights. Well she did the highlights, but I needed a toner too. My fault wasn't asking how much more the toner would be. This stylist charged my $60 for the toner and $90 for the partial highlights. I feel ripped off and she barely blow dried or styled my hair at all. I left the salon with wet hair so I couldn't really see my highlights. For $150 you would think they would blow dry my hair completely. Never again... how can toner be $60 when the price starts at $25? read more

I was in the Kaneohe Bay shopping center and had a friend work at this location awhile ago so I checked it out. One of the newer Super cuts , it's very small but clean. It was around 10am and they actually had an opening for walk-in. My hair was still wet from washing it so I asked for a cut only. An older lady cut my hair (Sugi??) and it was an OK job and not that great. She cut it in 5 minutes and that got me concerned. I had to look it over and show her where it was uneven. After that she took her time for 15 more minutes to finish up. She never put any finishing product on my hair, even though she had some on her station I had to ask. Well for $21 what do you expect. Bad haircut. No resolution. This was my first visit here and I don't remember the name of the lady that helped me. Very nice in general but just a bad experience regardless. The haircut wasn't looking the way I wanted. It was more round than straight and also not as blended (obviously noticeable where the lines of the different clipper attachments were) so I asked to fix it up a little bit. She said she could try to fix it but it could just by "my head shape" and then proceeded to go in with the clippers with a shorter attachment and make it worse. I get the same haircut every time so I know it's not "my head shape". She then brought over another employee to assist and the other employee just validated her instead of actually assisting and also said I need to just grow it out. No offered compensation. read more

I found several at this location who gives great hair washes, but haven't found one that can cut very good yet. Maybe one. I am here right now and even with the crazy COVID 19 pandemic, these ladies are professional and have nailed every point I'm trying to touch on with services today. It's hard to find a place that can do hair in Kaneohe, let alone people that you can be comfortable with (and feel like your health and safety is a priority). My color service was on point, I have been trying to slowly go to a lighter color rather than a harsh dark color and they are really helping me achieve that goal. Deja, has also been making sure that my hair remains healthy throughout my hair journey. She knows I'm growing it out and continues to do little trims as needed every time I see her (which is sometimes 3x a month or more). My shampoo service is the most relaxing part of my day. I look forward to this and never need to worry about feeling uncomfortable or as if I can't relax. The entire staff checks up on people and makes sure everyone has what they need to complete a service without a glitch. They also introduced new products to me and educated me on what's best for my hair and my hair goals. She NEVER tries to sell me unnecessary products or services. None of her staff ever do that either!! My entire family comes here, and even the luckiest of the bunch- my dad- loves it here. I'm so glad I finally took the time to write a review for these great people!! I love these ladies and they've never led me down the wrong path with my hair or my family. Go with tempered expectations in that you'll definitely get what you pay for, and as long as you keep it super simple, you're probably fine. I've overall felt good after cuts here - nothing special, but overall satisfied. This most recent visit however was the nail in the coffin for me, I'm not going back. I told her I was growing my hair out, so just overall trim, but add some longer wispy face-framing layers in the front to keep it from being too boring. I showed her 2 photos of what I wanted to back up my description and give her a better idea of what I was going for. First she told me my hair was super uneven in the back - I look in the mirror often enough, I had never noticed, so I'm not sure if she was full of crap or I just have a bad eye - and she kept poo-pooing the cut. Either way, if it was SO uneven, it had been one of her coworkers from my last visit, so that's already got me cranky! So in order to "fix" whatever unevenness she saw, she hacked off probably 2+ inches and then gave me the ugliest choppiest layers in the front that are much shorter and bulkier than I had shown her in pictures or described. I didn't realize until after I got home and my hair was dried just how bad it was- it looks like a home job done with craft scissors. That puts me at minimum 5 months to grow back what she cut off- not even counting the shortest parts in the front. I've been trying to wear my hair wavy or curly now so it's less obvious or just not wear it down at all because I'm pretty self conscious about how it looks. I'm too scared to get it adjusted for fear of losing a lot more length and just being more disappointed. read more

If you're booking an appointment and someone named "NGOC" is working there, make sure you get someone else. She couldn't even do a basic fade and literally buzzed the sides of my head without fading it in and kept asking me if that was ok lol. She'll literally go down in history as the person who gave me the worst haircut of all time. I've literally had untrained people with no experience at all give me better haircuts. Since nobody else was there at the time I just said I'd come the next day and have someone else fix it. To my dismay, I come in the next morning and she's there working again. I show up for a 10AM appointment and she approached me telling me to come back at 2 PM, literally 4 hours later! Are you kidding me? I've been going here for years, and my expectations are exceeded every time. I try to go when Deja is working. She is the most talented hair dresser I have ever had. And I have gone to a couple of high end salons. I went there yesterday looking like a clown, because I tried to do my own hair. Deja fixed it up and I left looking like a super model. Wow, reviews are not so good however i had a wonderful experience. So this is for the person who has jacked up hair lol I went in with many different colors in my hair because of home dyeing. Many times I'll walk into a salon and they will make up a bunch of excuses of why they can't take me for a coloring. I asked to fix the 1" gap of redish brown dye (I have dark brown hair), I had, from the roots of my hair growing outward, also, I wanted extremely subtle highlights that is a shade lighter than the base color and a hair cut. Anyone who knows anything about hair would know, after looking at mine, that this request was close to impossible; its because I already had light tone streaks in my hair prior. I am sooooo soo happy! She fixed it! I do have "Some' lighter streaks still but she did offer to tone it down and i said no. I'm just very finky is all. Service A+ My Color A++ Hair cut I only got a trim so I can't write about that. Eye brows, I rushed her so I can't write about that either...however they are nice Parking is great Price is average- I've gone to different shops Fantastic Sam's, Master Cuts & Regis etc. I would recommend the young lady I had, Sam and her friend Nina -I was watching her also lol Also I hear, through these two, they have a great night shift. First time here...last time here. I stopped in to get a quick lip wax done. Walking in the door, there was no customer service or greeting. There was no one there yet the older one pretended she was busy doing something and told the younger one to take me. The girl who did it seemed completely inexperienced and didn't seem like she was even licensed to do the job. What typically takes an experienced aesthetician 5 mins, she did in 15 and she wasn't very confident as she was putting the wax on and stripping it off. When she was done, I had to ask her to see it in the mirror. She had missed two areas and blamed it on the lighting. She did re-do those two areas. I took a look and there were a couple of spots that bled and not all the hair was removed. I just told her it was fine and got off the chair. Not a good experience. read more

The employees here cut hair well enough. I had an expiring coupon for Supercuts and could use a quick hair trim. I decided to travel down to the place for a simple crew cut in the afternoon. The haircut turned out fine. The service quickly checked me in as soon as I entered the door; a woman sat me down in a chair quickly too. Time went pretty quickly here as I actually expected to wait for at least fifteen minutes on a weekend. It really helped make things seem quick since the employees seemed very friendly with everyone. They seem to always want to talk about something to everyone around them. She suggested a variety of choices to specify the style when I asked for a simple crew cut. This made me feel like she really honed in on the type of hair I had. My hair tends to spike upward when it becomes short; she seemed to know it by a single glance. Her suggestions really helped me out since it helped refine the haircut on what I believed to be on correct trajectory. Later into the haircut, she stopped and asked for more feedback which I appreciated since my hair did not look that great at that point. I found the overall end-product as pretty good when she finished. I cannot complain about much since my haircut came out well. Personally, I recommend anyone who wants a good haircut here to give them a lot of feedback during the haircut. The quality of the haircut that they give seems to scale higher when they know more about what you want. read more

These ladies here love their tips but don't really listen, and they pump men's haircuts out like it's the last one of the day every time! Always have stray hairs uncut. In the chair for 5 minutes max. They stink like cigarettes and are usually only one person running the whole place. I wish they didn't speak English, then it would be easier to to explain. I keep telling myself that I will never go back..... but I always do. Which prompted me to write this review. $34 with tip for a men's haircut and I got stray long hairs and my eyebrows all different lengths. Haircut was good and hair looked good after but the girls working were NOT friendly what so ever. They were quiet and rude and didn't greet us with a smile nor a hello. It was "whats the name" and "have a seat." There were two females and they made it a very awkward, quiet atmosphere. I can't believe how bad they are. They greeted me nicely, no problem there. I brought pictures of exactly What I wanted. I have a regular hair person that is awesome but she is on vacation and I couldn't wait until after the holidays. The picture I brought showed a medium short cut, with the hair pushed behind the ears and usually how I wear it. She cut it so short is above my ears. There's a huge hole where she made a mistake in the back of my head and another big puka on one side of my head. I suspect that she was cutting my hair so fast that many mistakes were made and she just kept cutting it shorter and shorter. I re-showed her the photo and she said "oh I didn't see it was pushed behind her ear". She did see it, she was trying to cover up her mistakes. I hate it. It's shorter than all of the men's hair in my family. Right before the holidays. To make matters worse I wanted to have a little gray hair touched up but she missed the gray and did low and high lights which looks like poka dots. The color is horrid. I think she probably couldn't do the gray because she cut my hair so freaking short. It was all I could do not to burst into tears leaving. read more

I went here and saw Krimson for a trim, some layers, and side bangs. She was super friendly and got me in the chair right when I walked in. I hadn't gotten a haircut in over 6 months and my ends were totally dead! I have been trying to grow my hair out and she totally understood everything I was saying which is great. I showed her a picture of my old side bangs I loved and she did them exactly as I asked. She suggested some product for heat protection which was 20% off so that was great! Overall I'm happy with my trim, there were only a couple spots that were a little uneven but hey for a $25 haircut I can't complain !
