Went in to get a medium length haircut. And yen nguyen gives me a chin length bob. I guess just because she was doing a good job on the little boy in front of me doesn't mean that she can do a womans style. I should have waited for the other stylist that was doing an intricate bobbed haircut for a woman, but I guess I judged that if that was the quality that stylist was doing that maybe that was the standard for the whole barbershop. So... I'm a Supercuts chica, but only a billion years ago (like, in high school) and somewhere I learned that you must pay a premium for a haircut and somehow, that when you pay more, it's better... and, sometimes, that is spot on.... but not always. After having the last few much higher priced cuts and poor results at best, even with explicit conversations, I decided to say, WTH... and stopped in on the way to the grocery store. Read these reviews (as always, I go no where without checking in with Yelp...) and asked for Kerrie, much like other reviews did. Kerrie was awesome. She asked me specifically how much I wanted taken off and confirmed with a mirror to "show me" where the new length would fall... and, unlike some of my experiences elsewhere, she cut my curly locks beautifully... Hopefully, this was an isolated incident. I'm usually quite happy with this location of Supercuts. Today, only 1 stylist was working when I came in. The computer wasn't working so the young lady told me she could only accept cash. Luckily, I had enough on me. The price has increased to $18.99? Each of the last few times, there has been a gradual increase. Price isn't the problem for me. It's the perception of value. There was one gentleman on the chair when I arrived. I had already checked in before arriving . I waited maybe 10-15 minutes. As the gentleman checked out, he paid with $20. , leaving the $1.01 as a tip. Wow! I couldn't believe it. While cutting my hair, the phone kept ringing. Again, the stylist was by herself. She can only do so much. This review is about the lack of management. The lady was doing the best she could given the circumstances. Again, I believe this is only an isolated incident. The stylist did a fantastic job. read more

Becki is awesome! It means more than anything when a new stylist listens. I brought a picture that she paid attention to. She placed my phone with the picture on her styling station so she could take a look at it the entire time she was cutting my hair. It was perfect! This is the first time I have been to a new stylist for well over a decade because I didn't feel like driving in traffic for more than an hour and to spend so much money on gas. So I'll be seeing her every time I need a haircut and I'm not easy to please! Great personality and lots of fun. I recommend Becki highly. read more

Even though their employee turnover is very high, my hair is always cut the way I want and in a timely manner. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a chair and everyone is very friendly. This place just opened and I came here yesterday for a quick haircut. This guy named Christopher cut my hair, and he was a super cool dude. He was pretty careful when it came to getting my hair exactly how I wanted, and he was very friendly. Another plus is that it's in a strip mall next to a Which Which, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, Starbucks and other places to eat. Like another reviewer, I was/am simply tired of being expected to pay $65+ for a simple haircut. So I did a quick search on here and headed to Supercuts. At 9:30 am on a Saturday, there were 3 people ahead of me and 1 stylist (Tomora). She was efficient and quickly met all their needs (kids cut, a blow out, and a men's cut). My turn in the chair, I explained that I wanted about an inch taken off of my shoulder-length hair and that because I have wavy mexican hair, I needed some thinning out or shaping to the back. She nodded, made some suggestions on how to do that and I agreed. She got to work. Tomora is actually a cosmetology instructor at a local college and cuts here as a side job. She was great with explaining some things to do with my hair without trying to oversell any product. My cut is absolutely perfect and works whether I straighten it or leave it curly. 1. It is $16.99 and I get that it is 2019, but for $16.99 I expect the barber to take their time and do a good job. I wish I had read the reviews and avoided this place. 2. Got a simple buzz cut and the barber could not handle it. Specifically, I had bumps of hair and had to ask her to go over it. She did not like that, and still missed a bump. 3. Did not show the back of my hair with a mirror. Red flag right there! 4. Avoid the older lady with short dyed hair. She is white. Nice lady, horrible barber, no attention to detail, and a complete rush job. I had to go home and fix it myself. There are so many options around here, I wish I had searched yelp before. For some reason, I got "Supercuts" and "Sportsclips" confused. Sportsclips is a higher end chain, Supercuts is junk. Forked over 17 dollars for a 7 dollar haircut. Just terrible. read more

Well I have to say- this wasn't my best experience to date- part of it. Let me explain- The day before Thanksgiving I decided to go for a big change. I cut my long hair short. Way short and decided to color and highlight at the same time. Jay is super cool and she did a great cut. The color on the other hand...although I love the two reds she used as I am an auburn/redhead- she used the lightest color closest to my roots and with baby fine hair it makes my hair look even thinner and then there's the fact that it wasn't colored down to the roots. All ladies know one of the biggest reasons we color our hair is to hide the gray. Well...my gray is at the roots so I spent the money and I'm still showing gray :( I don't know if I'll be going back for color anytime soon :( read more

I've always been very hesitant on getting my hair cut for at a decent price. I've paid from $10 - $100. I've been satisfied and unsatisfied with my haircuts. I'm also the plain Jane kind of type where I don't like to do any type of maintenance or layers to my hair. But this time I wanted a little bit of a change. Every salon I went to, I asked for their recommendation and they would recommend something but then they would keep tacking on other stuff. Every time I said no, they would do it anyway and then my bill would be tripled. After researching for weeks, I decided to give this place a try. First I want to thank the past Yelp reviewers for recommending Kerri. Thanks to their recommendations I've had Kerri cut my hair twice and have been very happy both times. The experience was a little different than what I've had in a typical salon, but the end result and price were great! My hair is fairly short so instead of shampooing my hair, Kerri sprayed it with a spray bottle to make it damp enough to cut. She asked me what I wanted and did exactly that, but also used her expertise to make it above and beyond what I knew to ask for. I felt like she took her time to provide a good cut, but also got me out in less than 30 minutes which I appreciated. I will echo a sentiment from another user, at these prices please don't forget to tip your stylist if you are happy with their work! We want the great ones like Kerri to stick around :) read more

If you want any kind of hair service at all don't EVER EVER go here! I called prior to visiting Super Cuts for a haircut for my daughter to inquire if I needed to make an appointment. They assured me there was no wait and no need to make an appointment. We went right in, however, they made us wait 30 minutes! When my daughter finally made it the chair the stylist was so rude to my 11-year-old and I. She couldn't care less about the services we desired and immediately stated that she was going to charge me more than $12.99 (which is the listed price for a child cut under 12) for my daughter's haircut because she has medium length hair. I had a coupon for $9.99 and she said she couldn't take it because it's not for children. I know this was a lie because the fine print on the coupon did not state it was just for adults and not redeemable for a child cut. When my daughter was seated it was close to closing and the entire time of our conversation the stylist kept checking her watch. I presume she just wanted to get rid of us so she could punch out and not fulfill her responsibilities as an employee to Super Cuts. Nonetheless, we walked out without a haircut, services rendered or any positive thoughts whatsoever for this establishment. My poor daughter was so disappointed she wasn't able to get her back-to-school haircut she so had so longed for. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We've always gone to TGF Hair Salon, and they are, by leaps and bounds, the superior hair salon. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the service and treatment we received. I will never, nor will anyone I know, set foot in a Super Cuts...EVER AGAIN! read more

I usually get fade haircuts from christian. She takes her time and does a marvelous job. Today she wasn't here and I got my hair cut by Becky. Holy bleep big mistake. This old woman was cranky and had a bad attitude. She quickly cut my hair with dull or very slow razors. I went home and showered. Holy bleep my hair was not even on the back and sides and was lopsided at the front. I returned to get it cut again but Becky gave more attitude. Other old woman stylist stepped in and cut my hair. She kinda fixed it but the sides still looked uneven to me and the back of my hair was sticking up. Also, she was way jumpy and too talkative like some train wreck. This is my plan: grow it out and cut it later or cut it very short now. But I think I have to wait for Christian to do that for me on friday. I don't trust any of those old women to cut my hair again. Lesson learned. Stick with younger Christian for haircuts especially fades. Those old women at that store are washed up or can't cut hair period. I hope Christian does not move on because if she does I won't ever come back to this salon. Keep your receipt because they have to fix your hair the way you want it within seven days. Boy I am so angry about this. Where in the heck do they get these subpar hair stylists? read more

AVOID AT ALL COST!! I received a hair cut yesterday that looked as if someone had Seizure while doing it!!! My head looked like an abstract art project a 3 yr made!! Searched all over for a new salon that would stay open enough days/hours to actually get haircut for those of us that work. Naturally, I turned to Yelp to find someplace special. Imagine my surprise when I discovered SUPERCUTS. Not only do they work seven days a week, but you can make an appointment on line or just show up and wait on your favorite stylist. Kerri is not only extremely talented but fast. She is the boss lady, and keeps things running smoothly. You see, when services cost a quarter what you're used to paying, you know they have to make it up in volume. This is a busy salon! Michael is my boy's favorite. He is up on the contempory cuts and all you have to do is show him a photo and sit back and relax. They really are pros here, so if you're looking for a salon to call home, give them a try. P.S. I really hate to have to mention this, but I keep seeing folks check out and pay their $14.95 and not bother to tip their stylist. At these prices you have to know that they work for tips! First visit today and I was helped by Kerri. I asked for a wash, a trim and eyebrow wax. She did a great job, even suggested a cut that she thought would look good. The business says, men's cuts....but I assure you they provide services for women too. Kerri was funny and interactive and also gave me a few shampoo samples for my hair type. There was no wait and the whole shebang took 30 minutes. For the cost of 1/2 a haircut at a high dollar place, I left plucked with a fresh do and feeling great.. Was very disappointed at super cuts customer service. There were three employees and one customer other than myself was told I would be next while 2 employees went to the back and the other employee cutting hair with the other customer besides myself. When she was finished she did not a word to my girlfriend or l, she went to the back with the other employees. We were left alone in the building for about 10 minutes. No one came to the front. After a while me and my gf got tired of waiting and left. When I opened the door to leave the door made a ring and that's when I saw someone come to the front. This happened less than 10 minutes ago. I got my 3 year old son's hair cut there. I just need to clarify that he was perfectly still and well behaved. WORST haircut he has ever gotten. The crown of his head was short, and the top of his head was longer. Above one ear, was super short and the other side was long. She kept asking if I saw anything I wanted corrected; after going through almost the entire haircut and not having it fixed properly, I left, resolving to fix it elsewhere. We went to Hair News the next day, and the lady there fixed it well. I didn't even have to tell her why we were there--she took one look at my son and said "Who messed up your hair?"
