I came here because Sam was recommended for fine hair. She lived up to the hype and did a great job with my cut. She understood what I was looking for when I showed her a reference photo and gave me good ideas for my hair. I knocked off one star for two reasons. First, and no fault of Sam, but the color (all-over demi-permanent) cost a lot more than I was expecting ($95). Second, hair color got onto my new silk work shirt, which is a bummer. Make sure to wear an expendable shirt if you are getting a color service. I try to do that, but didn't have time after work. I will definitely come back for another cut, though. read more

If you have long hair, DO NOT HAVE LISA CUT YOUR HAIR! I went in and asked her to take off an inch off my hair. She took off 2 inches from the back, angled the sides even shorter (which I did not ask her to do), and put even shorter layers in the entire crown of my head (which I also did not ask her to do.) She just kept chopping away like Edward Scissorshand, and I didn't realize how much she had taken off until it was too late. I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with the haircut she gave me She didn't do what I asked her to do. She cut whatever she wanted to. It will take me 6 months to grow out these short layers that she put in my hair. Very disappointed and will NEVER have her cut my hair again. read more

If I could give it a zero rating I would. The worst place ever to work. Managers are rude and unprofessional, upper management could care less, they only care about money and not the employees. you get a pizza party for Christmas, like your a bunch of children, no bonus, mean while you have to do everything, cut hair, answer the phone, wash hair, sweep the floor, there to cheap to hire a receptionist or shampoo person. You only get minimum wage and when the store doesn't meet its quotas, they cut your hours to save money. no advancement, just to manager for a dollar more in your pay check. They expect you to meet there quotas, basically kill yourself for minimum wage, and screw you out of PTO, if you dont use it all. Go someplace else!!!! Don't give this place your time or energy! They don't deserve it! They only care about there bottom line, (money). the only reason there still in business is because it's the cheapest place around, but honestly if your going there for a cut, spend your money elsewhere, even if it costs you a little more, the owners have no integrity, nor does the management. Well I for one had an excellent experience here. I woke up and decided I needed to get my hair chopped off, so that's exactly what I did. The woman who cut my hair listened to what I wanted to do, made suggestions on what types of shorter haircuts are in style, and I was in and out in less than 44 minutes with a whole new look. I went for a haircut today and 'Lisa' with boy style black hair was the hairdresser name who is also the manager.I requested her to wet my hair at the sink first as I have thick hair,she stated she would have to use the clippers first as they can't get wet, really? I've never had anyone tell me that in my life! then she said I can go to the sink. Instead she RUSHED through using clippers only no scissor cut or even a comb then sprayed a water bottle everywhere to wet my hair without taking me to the sink .Now I have to wear a headband as looking closer I got a dog cut. Went for a haircut at supercut was very disappointed with the job i had to go somewhere else to Fix what have been done.

I have a pixie style haircut and the sides and the back near the nape of the neck had grown a bit long and shaggy. When I entered the salon, I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted . Namely a trim to the back and the sides . I explicitly said I wanted the crown and my bangs to stay long . She even repeated that to me , you want your bangs down to your eyebrows ? And I replied yes . Before I knew what was happening she was trimming my bangs while my hair was very wet and when it dried they were at least one inch above my eyebrows ! She also butchered the back of my hair taking off much more than I had asked . Needless to say I will never ever go back to Supercuts and urge everyone to steer clear of them. read more

This place is a hit or a miss. I've been there several times and have come out either pretty happy or super unhappy with the hair cut - my wife has had similar experiences as well. I'm not very happy today. I did a call ahead appointment and have now been waiting over 20 minutes past my scheduled time. The two women on duty cutting hair are moving super slowly as if they're encased in jello. If a business allows people to make reservations, then more of an effort needs to be made to honor those reservations. read more

I went for there for the first time and it's my last. I never leave bad reviews. I'm flexible and have realistic expectations for most things. My salon was damaged in a fire and I couldn't put my roots off any longer. The stylist was intimidating and rude. She added every possible upcharge she could without informing me. I understand the posted prices are "starting rates", which is fine, but if there's a big difference the customer should be informed. If I had known the cost, I could have gone to the local spa for a $50 difference and gotten a better experience. I had to return to the salon to get it fixed. She missed coloring an area that was the size of a quarter and three more areas were found on the back of my head during the correction. She took a towel used to dry the hair of the customer next to me and used it to wipe hair dye off my forehead! The chairs were never wiped down between customers. I was told to move chairs so she could do a men's haircut and immediately sat him where I had just been. She told me I had to buy a color safe product. I got home and read the labels. The shampoo was for pulling the green out of your hair if you swim in pools. The conditioner was for hard water. I contacted Supercuts corporate and never heard back from them. read more

Went for a haircut Saturday, very basic, trim, just straight across. The next day (yesterday), while getting ready in the morning, I noticed it wasn't very even and there was a lot of chuncks of hair that were not the same length. Again, today, after showering and letting my hair dry, I'm just looking at what an awful job was done on my hair. I don't recall who cut my hair, she was nice, but just did a very poor job. And for a simple "cut off 4 inches", and nothing special or fancy, $23 (not including tip) is a lot for 7 minutes worth of work. read more

Place is horrible. Did call ahead. Went on APP at 10 AM. First opening at 1:30. Booked it. Arrived at 1:20 and told "at least six people in front of me." Estimated wait 90 minutes. Have not had my hair cut anywhere else in 15 years but will never retun. Horrible and avoidable....either do not take so many call aheads or contact people to let them know you are unable to accommodate them in a reasonable time frame. Went on site to leave feedback. Don't know why this only has 2 stars. Granted, I went for a very simple haircut just to remove a few inches so it was a low risk appointment compared to a highlight or a perm. I walked in on a Saturday with no appointment and was taken quickly- was out the door including tip for less than $25 in 30 minutes. One side is longer than the other and very uneven all over my head. I'll wait a couple of weeks for it to grow out a bit then will have to go somewhere else to get the mess she made fixed. read more

I do not like to give 1 star but sometime you have to be honest. The haircut was less than 10 minutes, which was the only good thing; although that is probably why it turned out so poor. When I walked out of there one of my sideburns was cut short and the other was long, the sides of my hair looked like I had tried to cut it without a mirror. Went back in to get it fixed when I realized how bad it looked and just got chunks taken out and had to leave before it got any worse. After the cut I went over to Sport Clips immediately. They did a GREAT job of fixing it up. That place is only $2 more and the barber/stylist knew exactly what to do. Somehow it turned into a good haircut. Either they put more emphasis on quick haircuts and higher turnaround than they do on quality, or they have no problem hiring people that don't know what they are doing. Either way the focus is not quality. I cannot stress how great Sport Clips is, and it's right down the road. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

I think walking out with an itchy scalp, allergic reaction, and being unknowingly overcharged constitutes this 1-Star rating. For shame because typically I like Supercuts and have quality all around. It started out seemingly okay, but the problems truly surround the lack of clarity in communications and questions with quality. My stylist asked if I wanted to have my hair blown dry. Since it's ice old outside this time of year, I said yes thinking I didn't want my hair to turn to ice when walking outside. I understood there was an extra charge, but my understanding was it was an additional few dollars. There was no detail on how much it actually was and no communication she was charging me for blow dry AND styling. Had I known I would've said no! Second, whatever materials she used during my blow dry were meant to protect my hair. It absolutely did not since I came home and the area where she sprayed around led to me breaking out in hives and my scalp was itchy! I've NEVER had this happen before and she said i needed this for my split ends (which is why I came in in the first place). Finally I questioned everything when towards the end of my cut, someone came out asking if this stylist was working tomorrow and when she said yes, this person said her training on the computer needs to be complete by tomorrow. Does this mean she's not trained? Why is it not done? I saw all the extra charges and figured okay, learned my lesson and tried to leave it. Now that I'm sitting here itching and breaking out, I know I'm fighting. I will not be coming back any time soon to this location, or Supercuts in general for that matter. Never again. read more

My teenage son & I came in for quick trims. Check in was quick. Everyone greeted us with a smile and we were paired up with our stylists quickly. Using the online check in, I requested a cut for me and a shampoo + cut for him. He didn't end up getting the shampoo, which wasn't a huge issue. However, the stylist neglected to brush off all the stray hairs on his face, neck and clothing after the cut. We ended up running back home so he could change, wash his face, etc. to get rid of the hair. We were both really pleased with our haircuts & the product recommendations from the stylists. This place has the worst customer service of any hair cut store in the area. I walked into this location at 3:15pm after a woman and her daughter. While I was waiting to check in a Slavic woman told me in very broken English that the woman and her two daughters would be the last customers for the day despite the fact there were two stylists available and the store which had a huge lighted Open sign in the window was still open for nearly another hour. When I protested this treatment and wanted their customer service number they refused to provide it. I also asked for their license numbers and the Slavic woman pulled them off the wall to prevent me from taking down the number. Bottom line: they have awful people working here. Ashley cut my hair and did a good job. My hair was damaged on the bottom from lack of care, so she had to cut much much more than I wanted. It went from mid back to just above my shoulders. I'm a 63 yr old w/m and don't go in for exotic hairstyles. This was my first visit and asked for a regular haircut. Why do they ask if you want scissors or electric clippers? They're the tools of your profession, you use what works best! When they were done, it looked like I just rolled out of bed and never put a comb to my hair..!!! I didn't see the squirrels nest on top of my head until I got to the car in the pkg lot and I was headed to a restaurant for lunch!!
