Hi Yelp Community, This Review - is Specifically for the store in Greentree Plaza @ 505 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett for the Stylist "Thi" - who ought to be the manager at store as well. The Store and their staff, generates the most toxic and negative vibes for their customers. I visited them few times and below are the specific examples why I say above statement: 1) Once I was there for me and my son's hair cut, while I was waiting, my son felt like vomiting (he might have ate something) and while I can take him out he puked on floor in waiting area. After taking care of my kid, when I approached one staff to mention them about the situation - Thi simply shouted "what do you want" - I was set back. Post that, not to disturb the staff much I collected some paper napkins and covered the puke, and later when another staff came around that location I hinted them about it. This staff, noticed the circumstance and politely cleaned the surface. Post that, after 2 minutes "Thi" came to me shouting again - if it happens you have to clean it. 2) I booked my Hair Cut Appointment with Thi, over their Mobile App and arrived 5 Minutes earlier to the Appointment start time and also checked in. I was made to wait 25 good minutes post the appt time, so this itself is appointment mismanagement/ overbooking. When I was asked over, to begin my service - no basic greetings were made like - "thanks for waiting etc.", and when I asked if she was overbooked since it was 25 Minutes delay - on first count she reacted as if she didn't hear that (obviously intentionally dodging that question) and simply asked her question "will the hair cut be same way as before". I re-iterated my question and just got blunt answer - "yes there was a delay, I was servicing client before you". We went ahead with the hair cut and post paying for the service, she simply shouted with the message - "next time don't schedule the hair cut appt with me, if you want you can schedule the appt with some other stylist". I have attached here in the receipt of this Visit as record. Such toxic/ hostile behavior is not expected from any SuperCuts Salon staff, let alone a store manager. I thought a feedback was necessary, so the Staff can mend their workplace behavior for their future Clients and management can take the same with them. Till then, I would suggest to new and prospective customers to stay away from this place if you don't want a bad day post going there. read more

Came in at 4:15 on a Sunday after the other location on Evergreen way refused my appointment. They were extremely accommodating and kind at the Everett Mall/ Cascade Plaza location. They had a full house but were happy to take my daughter for a cut and shampoo last minute and close to closing. The gal in the 1st chair by the desk is always helpful and accommodating. Everyone is kind and professional. They did an amazing job and I'm extremely happy. I always come here but accidentally made an appointment online at the Evergreen location. I'll keep coming here for all my families haircuts because it's well run and professional. Thanks again for your kindness and understanding. Got my hair cut today. Price was good and it was an okay experience overall. Most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The salon itself had a nice atmosphere. I came in with a picture and specifically asked for curtain bangs, face-framing pieces, lots of layers, a balayage, and for my hair to be thinned out slightly. Unfortunately, my experience with the stylist who did my hair (a gentleman, whose name I didn't catch) was not positive. He was very rough while handling my hair--yanking it, brushing it out hard, and cutting it while it was still tangled. I also felt that he struggled with my hair type and made it seem like my hair was very difficult to work with, which was uncomfortable. It didn't feel like my hair was being handled with care. There were some positives: parts of the cut itself turned out well, and the layers were decent. However, the bangs and face-framing pieces, which were the main focus of my request, were not done well. It felt like the stylist didn't know how to properly execute curtain bangs, and I only received part of what I asked for. I'm especially disappointed with how the bangs turned out. They are very short, hard to style, and were not cut with my hair type in mind. I'll admit I could have explained my request more clearly, and it may look better as it grows out. That said, I'm genuinely upset with how my hair looks right now. For feedback, I would suggest more attentiveness to different hair types and more careful, gentle handling--especially when detangling. Clear communication throughout the appointment would also help ensure clients leave with what they asked for. I also felt uncomfortable at checkout. I didn't want to leave a tip due to the experience, but I was asked directly after paying and I picked my tip amount option and felt inclined to tip anyway for his time. Overall, while I personally won't be returning, I do appreciate the friendliness of the staff and hope this feedback can be helpful for improving future client experiences. read more

The other day I walked in to Supercuts my hair was pretty long and it decided to get a cold Bob. It was short in the back and long in the front. The lady knew absolutely what I was talking about and she did it. Excellent job. It turned out beautiful. I would recommend the Supercuts to anyone. The prize was not high. They even do your eyebrows there!!! I would go back there again and again and would recommend this place to anyone. Great customer service great haircut and a beautiful smile from your employees. I always sign in online ahead of arrival so the wait usually isn't too bad. The staff here are really friendly and very good. I go in monthly and always leave looking amazing. Today I switched up my hairstyle for the first time in 10 years. It was a big change for me and what I was changing to, I wasn't 100% confident about. The stylist talked to me about it and made a suggestion we went with. Not only am I happy with the cut, but my family (who are BRUTALLY honest) have told me it came out great. read more

I have been a longtime attendee of the Supercuts at Mill Creek Town Center in Mill Creek, WA. I live closer to Everett Mall. I was excited that one had opened closer to my home. I've been there twice: Once in Summer 2017 for my husband to get a haircut. It was uneven, and a 1.5 inch patch on the backside/side of his head was completely missed and hard to see with the mirror at the time of his haircut. The stylist had combed it down so it blended in, and when we got home, we noticed it was longer than the rest of his hair as it stuck up in the back the next day. Decided to give it one more try. I went in for a small haircut (cut 2 inches off and face-framing layers. No shampoo, nothing else) on April 14, 2018 around 11 AM. There was 1 stylist there, an older caucasian woman with pixie short hair working on 1 client. No other staff, no other people in the waiting room. She asked for me to sit down and said she would be with me in a few minutes. She didn't ask me what I had come in for, if I had an appointment, nothing. I politely said, "no problem," and sat down. 20 minutes later, during which the whole time she and the client talked about back pain, not even about the client's haircut, the stylist asked me, "Are you here for something?" What else would I be there for? I asked if she had time for a walk in. She replied, "No, I won't have anything available until after 1:30 PM." Really? You couldn't have mentioned that when I walked in, or even within 5 minutes of me being there? I wasted 20 minutes of her barely acknowledging my presence. We won't be going here again, which is disappointing. Based on some of the other reviews I'm seeing, it sounds like this same stylist is causing problems for several other potential non-Caucasian clients. I happen to be Asian, my husband is Caucasian. Based on other reviews, it sounds like she doesn't like working on non-Caucasian hair. We'll continue going to the Supercuts at Mill Creek Town Center instead. Their staff is kind, courteous, works with people of all backgrounds, and efficient. read more

Supercuts has good haircuts, OK pricing, hard to find unless you have a GPS or see their daily sign off the main road.

Went in at 5:30. Store closes at six. Elderly woman with blond hair refused to cut my hair because she said they were closing. When I asked why the door said they close at 6 PM and it's only 5:30 and they're closing the store, she looked at me like I was a complete idiot. I then left the store and my partner went back in to ask for the owners information and she threatened to call the cops on us and then proceeded to tell us it was illegal to give that information out. A quick search on the Washington State Department of Licensing after putting in the address gave me the owner and a quick call into corporate put in a complaint. I will never get my haircut at Supercuts again because of this experience. She is crazy and furthermore it's no wonder businesses are closing shop in Everett left and right when employees are like this. Waiting on the franchise owner to contact me back. read more

I went into the business for the first time and loved how Shirley cut my hair never had anyone cut it so good, I told her layers but they were not layers. She just ended up leaving little ends that were off not a big deal. I went back for another hair cut about 3 months after. I went to just get the ends off due to dry hair and told her no layers and out of no where she just started chopping off my hair like nothing and she said she was just taking the ends. She ended up giving me "layers" even tho I said no. At the end my hair ended up very short. I had work that day and haven't taken down until Sunday night I showered and tried to straighten and curl for an evening dinner and I couldn't, why? because I noticed I was missing hair and it was all choppy like a 5 year old cut it. It was very bad I started to cry, basically there's no fix and I have an important event in a couple of days. I talked to the owner and the owner decided to block me (Tony Rayman) and not reply to my complaint, very unprofessional. I have all the screen shots, I would love my refund back not only that but money enough to fix my hair, it's going to cost when I don't have enough money.
