I had to wait only about five minutes for the tech to come get me. She washed and conditioned my hair, which I was not expecting, so that was nice. She was nice enough, but not a talker. The only things she said to me during my entire 2 1/2 hour visit was 'move over here', can you sit up?', 'dryer', and 'we're all done'. That was it. I guess it would have been nicer if she had spoken, but I had just started watching Squid Game and became engrossed in that. She was very gentle. I have very short, very thin hair. She loc'd it in such a way that it didn't pull my hair at all. She did a beautiful job, I just didn't think it looked good on me. Not taking anything away from her at all. In fact, I took it down and decided to try another style. I called them back to schedule for that, but their closest appointment was two weeks out. I work Monday through Thursday so it would have had to be Friday or the weekend. I thought this would be easier to schedule, but I was wrong. I don't plan getting my hair done that far in advance. I usually only schedule a couple days out, at the most. Since they couldn't accommodate me, I went elsewhere where they did an awesome job as well. If we could line up the time, I would go back. Everyone was friendly and professional. The lady who answered the phone was very nice, encouraging and informative. The salon was clean and free of clutter. Each tech worked on only one person at a time so no one was just sitting waiting. Everyone was using their inside voices, not being loud. They played good music that wasn't too loud, and wasn't vulgar or something you'd be embarrassed to listen to with your children or parents. I was greeted very courteously when I came through the front door. These people are very professional and you can tell they take pride in their business. That is truly refreshing to see. I will definitely be back at some point and I have recommended them to a few friends, so hopefully they get that business. Literally the only reason why I did not give them five stars is because one of the ladies who worked there kept walking past me looking at my hair all crazy. She then started to speak to the tech who was doing my hair, in another language. I could tell she was being messy by the way she kept laughing and pointing at my hair. That actually was kind of hurtful. I know I don't have the best hair, but I was there to try and look better. I have just come off of six years being in the hospital, culminating in a combined heart and liver transplant. So, my hair doesn't look that good. At least my tech seemed to sense that I understood what was going on and she didn't interact too much with Messy Mary. Maybe they had a hilarious conversation about me later. She could have at least had the decency to wait til I wasn't there. Besides, you never know what someone is going through.

I'd had a few bleach treatments in the 3-5…read moreyears prior, and my hair has tolerated it remarkably well, remaining healthy and strong and shiny, probably because I never heat treat it. I came in for my first hair treatment since covid, so I was ~emotional and excited for a refresh. I forget the name of my stylist but ...... wow. 1- We were lightening for a balayage and despite using bleach my tips came out darker, still warm-toned (I'm undeniably cool-toned and made sure to bring it up). Also my whole head was about one (warm) color... it didn't reflect our discussion at all, and my balayage gave harsh grow out lines 2- Despite the low level of lightening, and my hair being very receptive to bleach, the treatment she applied absolutely fried my hair. It's been over two years since I had this done and I've heat styled it 0 times and dyed it 0 times, and even after cutting it much shorter the bottom 8" completely remain utterly fried. 2 years later I'm accepting that I'll probably have to cut it chin length to stop the absolutely dead hair from splitting further. Even with Olaplex, it's so outrageously tangled, split (I've had hairs with 4+ splits in them ... WTH), and dead that there's no saving it. I've never experienced anything like it.. it's just *dead*. I've only had my hair lightened in a salon because I'm so worried about this happening, and it's hilarious that the most ineffective bleach treatment I've ever had somehow was the one bleach treatment to ruin my hair. I'm about resigned to hacking it to a short bob and starting over. Oh - they also charged me extra on top of the Groupon because my hair was below my shoulders, even though it's extremely fine. Long story short, my Groupon here actually ruined my gorgeous hair, and I think it'll be about 5 years to get it back. Approaching the midpoint I think it's time to leave a review. :( Tl;dr my self-care appointment to rehab long boring hair gave me 5 years of bad hair.

Everyone loved it! First the bride to be is amazing! She told us do our hair however we'd like! I went for a half up half down look, we ranged with full down with curls, some with braids, a sideswept with full curls, and a full updo. My hairdstylist asked me all the right questions - I told her the bigger the better and she poofed it up really high, kind of looked at me with the smile and said like this? I'm like a little too high, she replied in agreement. All of the stylists were very friendly, outgoing and joined in our conversations like they were one of our good friends! The bride had the place reserved so we were the only ones in the place which of course made you feel like VIP! One of the bridesmaids actually came to the conclusion that her hair would look better if her bangs were cut, done. No problem! I really appreciated the creativity of the women here!
