Supercuts - New stylist 1st haircut! - Hair Salons Near Me - Dallas, Texas

I usually like it at the Hillcrest location but today I had a stylist named Ross and his service was very slow. I came in with wet hair for a quick cut and blow dry. That normally takes 35 minutes combined. No shampoo or anything like that. It took him two hours, and I had a baby with me who was very fussy toward the end and I asked him to speed it up please and he still took another 15 minutes. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday night for a trim. I read excellent reviews about Kimberly, so I checked in ahead of time with her. I was in and out quickly, but by haircut was excellent. Kimberly listened & asked questions to know what I wanted. She went above and beyond to take good care of me. I could tell from watching her work that she was a pro and felt comfortable in her chair. I loved the finished results and will return for sure! Thanks, Kimberly! read more

I debated writing this review but the 2 barbers argued about which one would service me. There was no problem for them to service the Caucasian women who had come in. I'm not sure what that was about seeing as the barbers looked Egyptian themselves. The quality of the service wasn't worth the hour wait. I won't be back. Horrible customer service especially from the man who was very dismissive and pretended not to see me for 15 minutes after he was done with his customer but took the very next white lady to come in. read more

Good hair cut. Nice stylist. She seemed to really care about doing a good cut. Highly recommend.

I have chosen the "Supercuts" on Pepperidge Square a couple of years ago, and usually I do my haircuts and color with stylist and colorist-Ms. Kimberly, But yesterday she wasn't available and I had both hair cut and the full head color service done with the stylist Mr. Abdel. He had done an absolutely wonderful job: I've recently literally botched my hair, because it's grown so long that I could no longer tolerate the site of it and had it fallen on my face & eyes all the time... and felt and looked just horrible ! Abdel was able to reverse the situation masterfully and worked extremely precisely and truly expertly ! It felt, as if he touched every single hair strain and paid attention to it. The hair style looked so nice and Precise and in harmony with the whole head of hair ! And the coloring job was done with same attention to detail, as well where each Strand of hair was colored and grays were covered evenly and fully ! And I am an old lady with plenty of gray with the thinning hair. Thank you so very much, Abdel ! Yelena Sterina read more

I was throughly impressed with my experience at Supercuts. I've been to many Supercuts locations for years, and I've always been happy with the results, but this location really stands out because of the nice stylists. I was a walk in and did not make an appointment. My pandemic hair had gotten out of hand and I just decided it was time to act now and take about 4 inches off. There were a couple of other people who were before me in the queue, so I got to listen in and was really pleased with the COVID protocols. Everyone was instructed to wash their hands before taking a chair, and everyone wore masks. It felt safe and I appreciated the careful consideration given to safety. My stylist was Natalie and she did a magnificent job with my haircut! I have a chic, new bob with cute bangs and I'm really happy with it! She was really pleasant to converse with and seemed like she genuinely loves what she does. I'm totally going back for a cut again soon, because you cannot beat the value and I was very happy with the final result. 5 stars all the way for this location! read more

Convenient! Affordable ! Great service! The wait was not long and the stylists are knowledgeable and accommodating!

Very good. My barber was very chill and very interested in what I wanted and gave me the exact thing I wanted. The vibe itself inside was great. I would recommend this place over all the other ones. read more

Every time I visit any Supercuts, I give me a picture of a haircut that I want. Till the midway, it always looks good and then the stylist over cuts my hair. I have never like there are trained stylists. Always pathetic experience at any supercut I have went till now. PS: I went to supercuts in different location, because there was waiting in other haircut shops and still came out unsatisfied. read more

Best experience ever!! So welcoming. My first visit to a Supercuts and it was so much fun. Kimberly and I talked about my hair and what style I wanted and we went from there! I am so happy and just love my new style. I feel like I found a stylist and new friend. Best hair cut ever. Thank you Kimberly. Kathy R read more

Avoid! I went in for a trim and color. I showed her a color which was a light brown. She showed me a quarter inch she was going to cut. She took it upon herself to dye the crown lighter to make it look natural. Nothing about an orange hue looks natural. She cut like 3 inches off. I didn't notice the awfulness of it until I got home where there's normal lights and not those terrible salon lights. I called to complain but it says voicemail not set up after one ring. I emailed corporate in hopes they'd respond, they did not. $108 wasted on a terrible cut and color read more

5 stars to Kimberly who did my hair ! She greeted me along with letting me express what I wanted, desired, and how I maintain my hair. She really gives you what you want and super nice with very high energy and laughs. Come to this super cuts! It has recent reviews, great staff, and my review is added. The super cuts is to the left of the pet place. Google and Apple say it's behind the Urban air jump place but it isn't. read more

They do a great job on my hair every time no matter who cuts it. I've been going there for 3 years now.

Horrible...the lady who cut my hair didn't know what she was doing. She shaved my side with the normal 2 and didn't do anything with the top and said she was done. I told her I needed it shorter and took her 3 attempts to mess it up more. Don't go here. read more

TL;DR version; Great place. Def worth more than the $16 spent. Long version; Although Supercuts has a reputation for being a cheap place, this location is great. The stylists are super friendly & talented. I hadn't had a haircut I liked in years until I came here. 100% more than worth it. read more

Great place! friendly people, I liked the men treatment very much the girl took her time and massage my head for at least 15 min I will defiantly come again oh and I only paid $20 included tip I feel I am lucky I found this place read more

This Supercuts location is a great place to get your haircut with professional services with lower prices. (I love a good deal.) I request Abdel to cut my hair because he takes his time, puts effort into styling it and always asks to make sure I am completely satisfied with my cut and style. He is very professional, friendly, and most of all, does a great job cutting hair. Even when Abdel isn't available, the other stylists do a great job styling my hair. They are always friendly, honest, and thorough in cutting and styling hair. I have yet to walk away from the place with any kind of regrets. I highly recommend this place. Hope this helps! read more

Kimberly did a great job on my hair! I asked for more layers and face framing pieces and she knew exactly what to do. She's been cutting hair for 40 years and I could definitely tell that my hair was in experienced hands. Will come back again for my future haircuts!! read more

TL;DR - go to Abdel and everything will be fine! This Supercuts is great. The manager, Abdel Adawi, has been cutting my hair for over 10 years now. He has a dedicated following of customers, some of whom have been going to see him longer than me. I've seen him with plenty of loyal female customers, but he has even more male customers who have followed him religiously from his previous Supercuts location on Hillcrest by SMU, and who will wait patiently for an hour for him even though other stylists are open & available. I'm sure the other stylists are great, they are always friendly, the store is always clean & comfortable, but at the end of the day I'm there for Abdel - all around great guy, very professional, and always gets my hair right every time! Pro tip: call ahead, because Abdel almost always has a waiting list! read more

This is one of the best run Supercuts I've ever been to. I came in from out of town and am unfamiliar with the area, but chose to dive extra distance to this location because of the strong yelp reviews. I went in to get a long overdo cut, and when I walked in they were busy. I was told it would take 40 minutes (my fault for not calling ahead) and I had at least 3 people in front of me. However, they are very efficient - that wait was probably 20 minutes at the most. The staff is super friendly and professional and will get you in, out, and on your way looking great. Highly recommend this location! read more

Called ahead, they told me to come at 5 cause they close at 6.. Didn't ask what I wanted.. they basically.. overcharge wash you hair dont even dry it.. your paying 30 bucks!! Blow dry baam 35, but we don't have time to do anything on the outside we advertise for!! Everything I asked for was a fail.. (never again!) thought I would give it a try, you will end of spending way more than you bargained for.. "store rules" per the lady inside.. read more

This is my second Supercuts experience and first at this location. Wow! This location is nicely decorated inside (modern feel) and Natalie was awesome. At 11am on a weekday there were a few people already waiting for a cut so I am very thankful for the online check-in. I see why this place is so popular and plan on returning! read more

It's not often one finds excellent work along with excellent service but the staff at SuperCuts (Preston and Beltline) managed to do it. I've been going to see Yessica at this location for over a year. Her work is fantastic. All of the people I've interacted with at this store have been incredibly professional and helpful. I think everyone there is genuinely happy, which makes all the difference. They work well as a team and the store is clean and tidy. Because they are so well run and the stylists are good, the traffic here is pretty high, so don't be disappointed if you have to wait 15 or 30 minutes. read more

So nice place, super service and beautiful hair cut. Today I decided to cancel my appointment in other salon due bad reviews, but still wanted to cut my hair today. I checked the nearest salon to my house and found that salon. The prise was more less but the quality and service are great. I was pleasantly surprised. I was cutting by Alla. She is so kind and professional. Alla gave me a few recommendations about my hair style and hair care. I know that this salon as express services and they have a line customers on waiting for, but they really do care about customers. The place is clean, modern, comfortable. I can recommend them to everyone. read more

Hit or miss. Prepared to be lied to your face about the wait time. I called in thinking someone would be available upon arrival. So I get there and there is a 10 minute wait time. How can you not be pissed at that. read more

Finally found a great place to get my hair done!! Thank you Beverly, you made my day!

I've been going to this location for several years now. The staff is always friendly and the space is always clean and well maintained. Several stylists have cut my hair, and each time I've been pleased with the results. Abdel has cut my hair the last 6 or 7 times. He has many years of experience in the business and it shows. No worries when I use him - just sit back, relax, and let him do his magic. read more
