I took my 7 year old grandson for a haircut. His hair is far from complicated. My daughter gave me instructions to tell the hair dresser, a number 2 on the sides/back and the top was to be a bit longer, long enough for her to part it and blended. Angel was our stylist and was beyond confused and far from friendly. I even showed her a picture. I seriously thought I was on an episode of Candid Camera! I didn't go to school to be a hairdresser and some how I had to coach this woman on how to cut hair. I began to wonder if she went to hair school‍! She didn't know her ass from her elbow. We had been here many times in the past and always had a great experiences. This woman's hair cutting skills and attitude were atrocious. Absolutely the worst hair cut ever! I like Super Cuts. I visit two locations pretty regularly. This one in particular seems to be the busier one of the two in Brockton because it's near the Westgate Mall and has lots of people in the area. I usually can walk in and have never have to wait more than 15 minutes. The other location is on Belmont Street near the Bertucci's I believe and is never busy. During the most recent visit to this particular location, I was greeted at the front desk by a woman who later told me she had been working for Super Cuts since 1998. She had a sweet voice and was very nice. She pushed products and services but I never felt pressured into trying anything. She also looked beautiful and had a nice hair style, so that kind of left a positive impression on me. She asked if I would be interested in trying the Tea Tree Oil Treatment. It consisted of a wash and massage. I said yes, it was 10 dollars and I figured it might be nice to try at least once. I had my hair shampooed and conditioned with a tea tree oil product. It made my scalp tingle and it felt very refreshing. What also helped was the scalp massage and hot water. The contrasting temps of the product and water felt amazing. After she finished washing my hair and massaging my scalp, I sat up and she used a massager on my upper back and shoulder blade area. It wasn't anything out of this world but it was nice and relaxing. After the special treatment, I got my hair trimmed by the same woman. She was very responsive but I never felt like I needed to keep up the chit-chat. She told me about some great sales going on in the Westgate mall. I almost told her that the mall should pay her for the advertising but I kept the thought to myself. She took the dampness out of my hair with a blow drier (and had added a little product) and told me it didn't cost anything to do that. I thought it was a nice touch because it kind of took away my worries that there would be hidden costs to what I was already paying. and just as she said, my hair felt smooth and really really soft. I am really tempted to buy all the products she used in my hair. and I must say..the cut (well trim to my layers and ends) and the blow dry she did with her fingers looked great! I wasn't sure how to tip. I was already spending almost 25 dollars for everything. So I gave a little more than I usually do. I hope she felt it was worth all she did. She actually seemed to enjoy having me as a customer and I would go back on the great service alone. read more

I went there today, they had two people working there was only one person in the salon getting something done and when I asked to get a cut and blow dry they told me no. I then asked if I could come back at some put in the day to get it done and the woman's response was "there's only two of us here all day im sorry you can't" I have NEVER in my life ever heard this from a salon in my life. If I could give this zero stars I would. Asked the hairdresser to take as little off as possible and she completely botched my hair. I didn't want layers but she essentially told me I "had to get them" and I said okay but please take off as little as you can. Now my hair is about shoulder length and I also have bangs that she gave me without asking. I feel very self conscious and angry. Would never go there again read more

Angel did a great job on my son's hair today. He is 16 and mildly autistic. She was really great with him. Took time to listen to him and was very patient. Not to forget she gave him a very nice looking cut. This is the second time we have had a great experience with her. This is the worst haircut I have EVER received. I went in today and asked for a few inches off. Previously, I had dyed the ends of my hair at home. They told me the ends of my hair were damaged from the box dye, and that I should cut the bottom off. I said I wanted a few inches off and instead of actually ensuring my hair was even, they just went to town on it with a buzzer and lobbed off the whole bottom half, cutting way more than expected. Following that, I asked for light layers and instead, the front end of my hair ended up looking like a feather duster instead. They did not make any efforts in actually ensuring my hair was even and instead seemed to just snip left and right with no care at all. I have very thick hair, and they barely wet it down, and didn't bother to pin any of my hair up while cutting. They instead just grabbed random strand after random strand, just snipping away. After this tragedy and seeing the uneven back ends, I went back in to tell them it was uneven. Even after "fixing" my hair, the front still looks as seen below. They MASSACRED my hair, and seemed to only care about cutting people's hair as fast as possible and not taking care to make my hair even at all. I will never be returning again and will be warning others of this atrocity as well. I had previously been to this Supercuts before, and it had been fine, but this time was completely different. I tried Westgate for the first time. I am not from the area. My hair was long and I requested a layer cut just a little shorter than shoulder lenght. My hair is thin, frizzy and wavy. I have had a hard time finding a salon that has made me happy. (Even paying top dollar). I had Celisa who gave me the perfect cut. She also put a product in that tamed my frizzy hair and made it look much thicker. The product also helped me style my hair with my hands . I am going back tommorrow to buy the product. I will be going back to this salon again for my trims and hopefully get Celisa . I have gotten many complements on my cut. She hit it out of the ballpark. read more

I have visited many supercuts and had a great cut....worst haircut ever! It's uneven and so short I can't fix it....was told it would be left finger length after she used the clippers and it was not....she rushed through the cut and didn't even blend accurately. Since I wear glasses I couldn't correct her immediately since I could not see while she was cutting my hair....I now have to let it grow out some and get it fixed....waist of $16....never will go back again! read more

Amber cut all of my hair off in the back of my head. I asked for a simple trim...just to clean up my edges. She CUT IT ALL OFF! Then she refused to apologize. Her manager, Kelly, defended Amber. HORRIBLE!! Amber and Kelly should leave the hairdressing industry right away. Now I have to go to another salon. My hair is less than one inch long in the back. I have no other choice but to cut all of my hair off. Amber is the worst. She is incompetent. Kelly is a poor excuse for a manager. read more

I've been getting my hair cut here ever since my barber retired--probably more than fifteen years ago. I have somewhat unruly hair and get it cut infrequently, and so often present the stylists with a challenge! Though there is pretty high turnover in people, all but a very few of my haircuts have been very satisfactory. One that I complained (gently) about a few days later resulted in very good "repairs" that they insisted not being paid for. read more
