When I outreached to her, she understood the services I wanted, listened to my concerns intently, offered suggestions and was able to meet my specific needs related to extreme skin sensitivity. One week before my appointment, Tara scheduled a patch test to determine whether I would have any sensitivities to products she was going to use. (Thankfully no reaction- every product she used was tailored for sensitive skin clients.) My hair appointment was today and I look fabulous! Beautifully done. I made an appointment with the owner Sharon. However, when I arrived I learned that Sharon decided to take the day off and Shelly would be doing my highlight and cut. While I can't provide an opinion on what Sharon would have done, I can tell you that Shelly was awesome and I think I now have a stylist for as long as she'll have me as I am quite particular. I feel each and every member on the Jolan team is my family. I have been traveling nearly 40 miles round trip to Jolan's in Weymouth every four weeks for over a decade. Why? Because of the outstanding skilled staff and amazing hair designs. I first came here with badly treated/colored hair. It took one visit to get my badly damaged hair to shiny, full of luster hair. Bottom line: Jolan's Hair Design is my #1 and only salon choice for great service, design and product

Because of this, one side was shorter than the other side. The longer side was thicker than the shorter side. It was noticeable and hard to work with. So I called to make an appt with Kris/Chris to go back to have it fixed. When I went back I was met with nothing but rudeness from the front desk where an older woman was standing glaring at me, up to and including while I was sitting in Kris's/Chris's chair. Kris/Chis was argumentative, making faces and rolling her eyes to the others who were in the Salon. She even started singing in my ear. She seemed to be determined not to recognize the very simple error that she made. She wasn't interested in my showing her. Ultimately, she didn't fix it. A simple apology and fix would have sufficed. The lack of customer service and professionalism by this hairdresser and salon was very disappointing.
