I visited this location on Sunday for an appointment. The messages indicated that I should notify them upon arrival at 11:35 to receive updates regarding wait times. I sent a message back indicating that I was in the parking lot; however, I did not receive a response. Consequently, I proceeded inside and waited approximately 15 minutes before being attended to.. While I appreciate being seen at the scheduled appointment time, the establishment was notably busy. My hairstylist was excellent; she was very communicative, and I was equally engaged. It took approximately an hour and a half to complete my hair, which was reasonable given the volume, as I have extensive hair. I was pleased with my haircut and purchased an additional product at a 20% discount. I chose for the supercut service, which included a complimentary hot towel; however, I did not receive the towel, which would have been appreciated. It is unclear whether this service is exclusively available for men. I went in today with no appointment and was able to be seated right away!! I always see John and he doesn't such an amazing job that when he isn't there it's hard to pick a different hairstylist! This SuperCuts location (in the Shop Rite plaza) is definitely better than the one down by Stop and Shop. Sometimes the wait is long, but it appears they fixed that by allowing clients to check in using a smartphone. The only odd thing is every time someone walks in, they greet you with "we're you the one who checked in on the app?". It's just odd to have the hair dressers shout that to everyone walking in. You would figure they would wait to ask until the person got up to the desk to check in. As far as the quality of hair cuts go, they do a pretty decent job. When I take the boys (my son, partner and father in law), each of them get in and out in a fairly quick amount of time. They do a great job cutting my boyfriends chin to shoulder length hair and cutting to compliment his curls- every time his spiral curls come out bouncy and full of life. I can't say that about the "other" barber shop/mens hair cutting place in the same plaza (wont name names). I'm not sure how they do with women's cuts. I honestly don't remember ever seeing a woman get her hair cut in there- although I'm positive they do. There's usually lots of men and boys coming in and out, and in all my times waiting in there, I've yet to see anyone noticeably upset. The price is in the cheap range for hair cuts. Any cheaper and I wouldn't trust 'em. The stylists get the job done and don't need too much direction or redirection. Considering how fast my son's hair grows and how often it needs cutting, I wouldn't consider spending more elsewhere for a standard boys cut. read more

The lady who attended me yelled across the shop asking if I had an appointment and what would I need done in a VERY condescending manner. I am new to the area and have been trying to find my barber "niche" the lady made me feel unwanted at this location as she was smacking the iPad looking for an appointment she was rude throughout the entire interaction. I recently moved to bristol and tried to give a shot to supercuts in Bristol. Victoria took me for haircut and I told her to chop 6 inches off my mane. She was done in 10 mins and did not bother to show my hair in the mirror from back. Well, I came back home and blow dried my hair and found a whole chunk of hair long from one side and my hair uneven from the back. I had my aunt to fix my hair later because she did bother to cut my hair right. I am extremely disappointed and would not go back to them again. Tawny (sp?) was really sweet and was great cutting my long, stick straight hair. She gave an awesome scalp massage, asked questions before cutting, cut off my dead ends, and added layers to my hair. Been to Super Cuts all over the country for many many years. Generally been happy with them. Moved to Farmington recently. My recent experience with Elionda at the Bristol location has been horrible. Told her I was new and gave her what type of hair cut I wanted. She immediately assumed things and cut hair a little too much and too fast. The result - a big patch of short hair right in center of my scalp. Then sounded defensive and went talking in circles about how I didn't explain things correctly.
