When I called, they were able to give me an appointment the same day which was nice. I usually decide to get haircuts in a spur of the moment kind of way. I had Bridget cut my hair and she was a very sweet girl. Instead of getting a trim like I had planned, I decided to chop off 8 inches of my hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. When I decided that as I sat in the salon chair, Bridget was so excited to do this major cut and it made me more excited too. She was really bubbly and you could easily tell her passion for hairdressing. The cut was nice and simple. She knew exactly what to do and what would look good since I basically gave her creative control. After the cut, she styled and curled my hair for me! That's always something I love having when I go into salons. Overall, Bridget was talented and had a very sweet personality. If I wasn't moving out of the state, I would definitely continue coming to Salon Couture regularly.

I didn't have anything specific in mind (only knew I wanted a cut and highlights), so she gave me some great advice. Long story short - I absolutely love my hair. I had blonde highlights that were very grown out and wanted to dye over them back to my natural which is a warm medium brown. My hair came out pitch black with a red tone to it. The service took long and she kept stopping and left the dye sitting on my head for about 1 hour then came back and put more dye on my head and then left me sit??? My skin is very very sensitive and it was sitting on it to the point where my scalp was burning a bit. My hair was not rinsed well and it left a film like there was too much conditioner that was still on my hair and there was dye left on my shirt, my face, and my scalp and hairline. Then I was told to just use rubbing alcohol at home to get it off. And I heard my stylist talking very loudly about me in another room saying what I was asking for was not realistic and it was too hard and if it was taking to long for a simple color it's not her problem... Mind you she kept stopping and would not wash my hair out left a treatment I didn't ask for on my hair for 30 mins in between washing me out and when I called raising my concern it was brushed off and they would not give me a refund. Mind you I am a 17 year old girl in high school who paid 150$ to leave the salon in tears!! Thank you Mimi's salon but you just lost a client

The following day, I booked an appointment. This is a brand new salon-- not even 1 year old yet. The facility is so clean and new, and the owner was amazing.
