Shes got sooooo many classes available too, I wish my schedule wasn't so crazy so I could attend one. The whole location is cute and always clean. They have great top of the line products available all the time. Also Snack and drinks available is pretty awesome as well considering hair appointments can be LONG! Krista is amazingly skilled with her haircuts, but she's so successful she will just opt to drop a client when given feedback. As a business operator, that is 100% her choice and a result of her success, so congrats. As a client, expecting to have a solid appointment booking seems like a normal feeling to have? From my records I made a total of 4 appointments with her, and of them, 3 had to be rescheduled at her request after initially approving them. When I mentioned this to her, she told me she would not accept me as a client going forward. I didn't make any outrageous demands, I just asked if we could have a more solid booking in the near future so I could plan appropriately. So, if your schedule is free of responsibility, you don't have kids, work, or have a school schedule to follow, she might be a great fit for you. I'm really sad because I thought I finally found THE person. Edit to add: apparently having expectations as a client means I am immoral and am a terrible person. What can I say, my hair dresser (Hayley) is incredible. When she told me she was moving to the Network, how could I not follow her. The network is beautiful. The atmosphere is super welcoming and trendy. Every person you meet is so kind. They have drinks and snacks. The space is huge and now they offer yoga to. I had a wonderful experience. Within the last year, I've noticed Gina's hair transformations on a local Bristol forum. I really liked the results on both that forum and yelp I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, which is great since I'm impulsive. I have long thick fluffy hair. I liked the length, but it lacked a style...this salon was BY FAR the best choice i've made by scheduling that appt. The staff is mixed with different ages and personalities and styles! and they all worked really well together. Kudos Gina for finding such a great crew! The salon was clean, decorated well and set up in such a great way....I never saw retractable hair dryers before(is that a new thing? I dunno, but kudos again to the person who wired that!!) Elise was my stylist She has a good eye and she's an experienced, young and classy lady! She was born to be a stylist and cares about the results...bomb! Thanks Elise. My experience here was amazing. It was welcoming and each and every one of the girls was talented and sweet. I signed up for a class online. I also own a business but focus on makeup. I went to school in the city for both hair and makeup but barely practice doing hair. I was nervous when I arrived to the class, because I'm not good at hair but as soon as I arrived I was welcomed with open arms. My first visit here - I went for a cut and color. I'd give them a solid 5 stars for service, professionalism, and overall experience. Unfortunately, even after a gratis color redo, I'd give them 2 stars for the final result (if it wasn't for the haircut, I'd say 1 star). The majority of my hair is natural/uncolored, and, when I walked in, the front 1-2 inches of my hair were a blonde band I've maintained for over 4 years. I wanted a silver-grey ombre, just on the blonde. I showed the stylist pictures on my phone, including one from the salon's own website. I discussed how I wanted a more natural grey, not terribly white, but that I loved the brightness around my face that I had from the blonde, so not too dark, either. I went home blue. I wish I'd taken a picture. While a lovely color, it was definitely steel blue. I gave it a week, thinking it'd lighten; it didn't. Literally every person who commented on my hair included the word "blue" somewhere in their remarks. I called the salon, explained the situation, and they scheduled a color redo with a different stylist, saying my original stylist would assist. When I arrived, I was put only with my original stylist. She got to work with a glaze (which concerned me because they're meant to wash out), and the results were very dark. She got another stylist to consult and I spent over an hour with my head in a sink while the 2 of them mixed more dye and tried to figure out why "what wasn't supposed to happen" was happening. After 2 hours, they declared it done and blow dried me. To their credit, they did not charge me for the redo. I went home and cried. My formerly blonde band is now so dark, at a distance of only a few feet, there's no discernible difference between it and the rest of my dark brown hair. I'm going for a color consult at another salon to see what can be done to fix this. Based on my explanation, the other salon is already talking about trying to strip out all of the color, get me back to my blonde (or as close as possible), and (try to) start fresh. Both stylists were very nice, and my hair cut is lovely. Sadly though, my hair color was very distinctive and unique and I've loved it for 4 years, and now I just hate it. read more

I apologize to Gina that this review is so overdue! I have been coming to see her for about a year and a half now. First of all, I should explain that Gina is one of a kind. She has a vision - that in and of itself is not unique, but what is exceptional about Gina is that she makes her vision a reality. When I had met her she was just building her salon and she has grown that into the past year into a booming business. She does this through hard work, dedication and commitment. I honestly dont think I have met anyone who works harder at their job and just puts 110% into their work the way she does. She really is a true professional ( and all of her staff - shout out to Lilly!) and takes the uptmost care of her customers. Have you had your stylist at JC Penneys text you after you have had your hair done to see if you like it? Probably not. She takes the personal time and attention to get to know each of her customers and makes she she gives them what they need. They are a Paul Mitchell salon and she makes sure her staff is up to date on the latest trends and technology. I do like that they can bleach hair ( I am a blonde) with little to no damage to my hair. I like the atmosphere here and her work is wonderful. I heard amazing things about Gina Bianca and know a few people who have gone here so I decided to give it a try, despite the fact its about an hour drive from me. I'm not sure what was worse. Having the stylist rush to get my balayage done because the girl at the front desk decided to book them a last minute appointment? Staying in the wash room for over an hour because my stylist was now busy with someone else and no one was available to help me? After waiting in the wash room for over an hour, having to wait AGAIN because my new stylist had to do a consultation? She then rushed to blow dry my hair, had me pose for a picture, and brought me over to the register. I was not asked if I liked it or even given a chance to look at the final result. Almost 4 hours later and close to $250 spent on my hair here and you could honestly not even tell I had gotten it colored, and was not even close to looking like what we discussed in the consultation. I went to Gina Bianca's salon three times in the last year. The first couple of times was for a trim and blowout. The third and last time was for what was supposed to be balayage. As a mother of three going to the salon isn't a normal occurrence with time constraints and the financial commitment I just wasn't ready for it. Then March 2018 I finally made a decision to have my hair done and commit to the time it would take to have my hair done and maintain it plus the financial part that comes along with it. The last couple of times I was over the moon with the service at Gina Bianca salon especially considering the fact that they have 5 stars. I went in with realistic expectations I was not in any way shape or form expecting or wanting to be blonde or expecting something drastic right away. What I did expect was to receive the style / technique that I asked for and showed inspirational photos of. I did go in with box dyed hair and did expect to need correction on my hair but I did not expect to NOT receive ANY WHERE near what I asked for. I was told it would be a process and may take a few visits which I agreed to and understood. BUT I was never told that with the box dye and color correction that my hair could not be a candidate for balayage. I was simply told that day would be a surprise and it will be corrected and we will eventually get there. I understood. The problem is I asked for balayage and received orange brassy highlights. I admit I am not a hairstylist nor a colorist but there is a difference between balayage and highlights and anyone could see that. Had I been told that because of my previous color that I would be unable to achieve balayage maybe my color expectations would have been different but I wasn't told anything of the sorts. I didn't want to discredit the girl's work because I will give her that she did color correct my hair as you can see in the before and after photos. But I did not receive the technique (balayage) that I asked for instead I received highlights. With what it cost I would have hoped to receive the technique I requested or at least been told it wouldn't be possible so we could come up with another plan. Instead I sat in the chair assuming I was receiving the balayage I asked for. So I finished went home and spent the last few weeks contemplating is it worth saying something. I'm typically not that person but after thinking about the $400 I'd spent to be left unhappy I had to say something. So I went ahead and contacted Gina herself. Explained the entire situation and was led to believe that my hair would be fixed. Well the final outcome is my hair will not be fixed and I will no longer be a Gina Bianca salon customer. The entire conversation will be left in the photos. Along with my inspirational photos, before and afters at the salon and one week one wash after photos. I was not looking for a free fix, I was being rather reasonable considering my hair is messed up. I was definitely looking for what customer service use to be where I was wronged and the business owner would fix it and I wouldn't be left feeling insulted as a customer. I would have been a forever client just with one fix but at this point I had to cut my losses. To clarify the one star rating I am leaving is for the brassy orange hair I received and the final outcome customer service I received. read more

I have been feeling horrible about my hair - how could I let it this long & not think that it looks THIS bad?! Read the reviews of Gina Bianca & read up on her staff & said yup - This is it. I had faith that they would create something beautiful. And let me tell you, I left feeling amazing. Feeling beautiful, on top of the world. Sam was great. Beyond nice & down to earth. Everyone was super nice, but my experience wasn't what I had hoped. I arrived on time for my appointment, but no one even bothered with me or my hair until an hour later. I asked for a specific hairstyle and color and even had pictures, but my hair wasn't the color I asked for and my ends are completely fried and need to be fixed badly. I was also left in the wash room for over a hour and a half with people randomly coming in and out not telling me anything that was going on. I just wish my experience was as good as everyone elses. I had long, untouched hair, never once dyed, cut once every couple of years, always in a bun... to say my anxiety was high was an understatement.
