Heidi remains my reliable hair guru. Mid pandemic she has altered course to limiting her services to doing color (and then only are cuts offered.) During all this, I had gone from belly button length long hair to a chin length bob with another hair stylist (as it was only a cut, and Heidi couldn't take me.) Heidi is so generous in that she leaves no customer without a plan B for just cuts; she has recommended time and time again a handful of colleagues in the vicinity. I took one of the recommendations in getting the big chop. But I have returned to Heidi by justifying the need for change and coloring again just to get her cuts again. I have had the bob for ~5 months and though I have received compliments here and there, only after my recent "touch-up" with Heidi, have I received questions about who my stylist is! Heidi is an expert in cuts and color to the extent that I cannot opt for alternatives at this point in time- and will justify coloring my hair when I don't really need it to see her for my cuts. She remains a beautiful kind spirit with such an accepting demeanor, and all the buzzing energy that I loved from our first appointment. 11/10 recommend! I'm so grateful I found Heidi a few weeks ago as I was looking through Yelp to find a colorist who is gifted and knows their stuff. I just moved back to this area from Los Angeles where I had access for years to the finest salons and colorists so I got spoiled. Heidi has their talent. I was long overdue for a cut and color! I have been searching for years to find a permanent hair home and I am so happy I found Heidi. First off, the atmosphere is amazing. It is laid back, comfortable, and inviting. You don't have the hustle and bustle of a busy salons and get your own piece and quiet which I enjoyed being a mom of two boys! I was able to relax in between a clarifying wash and color treatment. I've noticed Heidi's glowing reviews on Yelp for a while now and tucked her name away in the back of my head for the day when I would finally bite the bullet and look for a hairdresser closer to where I live now. Well the day finally came and to sweeten the deal, I even found a Groupon for her place. I had a little difficulty scheduling an appointment, since I didn't realize at first that I had to leave a message for her to call me back, as she isn't able to pick up the phone while she's working. But once I did leave a message, she called me back within 15 minutes and was very nice about fitting me in. Turns out she rents out a chair in a nice salon on Park Road, and the experience couldn't have been better. Heidi was friendly and professional, taking the time to make sure she had a clear idea in her head of exactly what I wanted out of my haircut before she started. She even asked me if I wanted to donate my hair and made the whole process super easy. She was efficient but still took her time, and my hair came out perfect, all in under half an hour. I walked out looking and feeling great about my hair. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in this area looking for a new hairstylist! I saw Heidi today for a balayage and she was amazing! Last night I tried to book an appointment online and her first available wasn't for a few weeks. So I added myself to the waitlist for today. Heidi had a cancellation and she texted me right away in the morning and was able to get in by noon today, which was awesome. The salon is easy to find and in a great location. Her space is cozy and welcoming, she offered me some tea or coffee when I got there. The balayage turned out to be exactly how I wanted and similar to the pictures I had shown her. Outstanding! It's been a hard couple of months on my hair and I've been looking around the area for a new salon. With a upcoming trip planned, I needed someone who could fix this hair emergency! After carefully reading the reviews on Yelp!, I decided to contact Heidi Heather. Now I called on a Monday afternoon (most salons and hairdressers in this area aren't even open until Tuesday or Wednesday!) and left a message not expecting to hear anything back. Within ONE hour!!..I heard back from Heidi who listened to what I wanted and fit me in the next day! She explained how to get to her salon, her prices and what she believed needed to be done to save me. I've never had a hair stylist listen to me like she did! She was so professional and friendly during our appointment. I didn't have to wait long to sit in the chair. We took actual time to go through pictures and discuss how I take care of my hair and what would be best for even future haircuts! She assured me that some of my previous coloring and cut was going to be salvageable and work well with my new hair. It was so relaxing because I immediately knew I was in good hands. She is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me pick a new style that will work with my unruly hair. She was extremely friendly when setting up the appointment and even personally called me the day before to confirm. I got a haircut and highlights along with a conditioning treatment. Heidi has been cutting/coloring my hair for a few years now and for good reason. I trust her judgement unquestionably. She has never let me down. Whether its just a simple trim or face framing or even a double/triple foil project ( I like to experiment!), she gives you her honest opinion and always does a very professional job. My entire experience was fantastic! Ever since I'd moved from Boston I'd had difficulties finding a good hairstylist, needless to say when I wanted to get highlights I did a ton of research.
