Went into supercuts for a haircut for my son and mother, the stylists McKenzie and Elaine (i hope I got there names right) were AWESOME!! Elaine was cutting my son's hair and she was so awesome with him. McKenzie cut my mother's hair and was incredibly patient. After she was done cutting my mom's hair, she helped my mother to out of the chair, walking next to her the entire time and even helped her to the door of my car. She wanted to make sure she was safe. They took us super fast ! Both of these ladies were super nice and welcoming not to mention they did a great job! read more

Be incredibly careful who you get. Most haircuts are fantastic but I got mangled my last visit. The woman did not understand what I wanted and proceeded to cut my hair anyways. I literally had to show her how my hair was supposed to be and it was already too late. She then proceeded to hide most of it with water and gel so I didn't realize she missed cutting off half of the hair I asked her too. Worst haircut I've ever recieved. I need a new one tomorrow just to fix this travesty. Be VERY careful. read more

This place used to be great, I would book a time and would be seen on time. This week I've been bumped twice with over 20 minute wait time, once for myself and once for my son. I am definitely finding somewhere new that does mediocre haircuts. read more

The best place I have found to get my hair cut. It's usually quick and they generally do a good job. They cut my hair the way I want.

Went in earlier (before noon) and came out with a brand new look. It wasn't busy at all when I walked in and the staff took no time to check me in. I only had to wait 2 minutes before Chelsea (I hope I got her name right) came out and helped me. We talked about the type of style I was looking for. She gave her input and asked a lot of questions which helped her come up with the hairstyle. We had small chit chats and giggles. She was very nice and pleasant. She took her time to get the hairstyle perfect (which is a major plus). She also paid a lot of attention to detail. I would recommend Chelsea to get your hair done as she puts in all her time and effort to create the perfect hairstyle! read more

I walked in here in the middle of the afternoon on a Tuesday. The only staff member there was working on someone, but took the time to welcome me and let me know that someone would be able to see me right away. Once we got going, I got the best hair wash/scalp massage; I seriously almost fell asleep in the chair. Nicole, my hairdresser, was really nice and helpful. I was toying with the idea of getting bangs and she gave me great advice about what types are easiest to manage and what may be more flattering for my face. She also cut them long and dried them so I could see how they looked before deciding if I wanted to go even shorter (which I did). It was so great to have someone helping me who really cared and wanted to help and wasn't just trying to rush me out of the chair. I will definitely go back and ask for Nicole next time I need a cut. I highly recommend her, and the salon itself (assuming everyone there is as nice as the two staff members I got to meet on Tuesday)! read more

I'm serious, I just got one of the best haircuts of my life here. I work in Boston and usually end up at a place near my office or on Newbury street, but I haven't had time to make an appointment and I was over my long, ratty looking hair. I stopped into Supercuts on my way home from the Braintree T station and got Chelsea. She gave me a long bob and I'm obsessed. She did an amazing job and the whole thing plus tip cost less than just the tip at one of the places in Boston. Thanks, Chelsea! read more

Stopped by hoping for a quick cut and thats what I got cause she didnt really do much. I specifically asked for long layers and some body to my hair. She gave me pretty much a one length and sent me on my way. Luckily for her, she was very nice and amicable. That out of the way, my 2 stars is also based on appearance. I asked to use the bathroom and it was beyond filthy, ring around the toilet, hair all over the sink, disgusting. Its not like they didnt have time to clean because all the girls were in the back on their cel phones or eating. Wont be back, thats for sure. read more

I specifically said, "1 inch. No layers". How hard is that? Now I have hair that has too many short layers AND so much hair lopped off. My hair is also longer on one side; and, I can't fix it until it grows in. I really wish I could give 0 stars. read more

This place is the worst! I asked to have one half inch cut off! The girl cut and cut and cut! I finally had to stop her. I'm left with the worst haircut ever! To add insult to injury the girl in charge was very rude and blamed me for the bad haircut! NEVER AGAIN! I'm referring to the super cuts at the pearl plaza in Braintree. read more

The stylists here were very nice, but the general Supercuts system of reserving same day appointments only (no advance appointments) and walk ins doesn't work AT ALL. I "reserved" 1:30 for both of my daughters, 11 and 5 years old. Arrived at 1:20, waited until about 1:50 until the first one was taken, which is ok, but then the second one wasn't taken until 2:30. It's now 3:00 pm, I'm still here when I expected both to be taken by 1:45 latest and be out of here at 2:15, 2:30 latest, which I don't think was an unreasonable expectation. The 5 year old was cut only, only my older daughter is having wash and blow dry. There were four stylists here, so I'm not sure why my older daughter wasn't able to be taken sooner when I asked for 1:30 for both. I felt like several folks that has also both called ahead and just walked in were taken before her. A lot of was time spent leaving people waiting while sweeping up the hair when that wasn't really necessary. Also, every time the phone rings, one of the stylists has to stop what they're doing to take the call whether it's quick or not, as there is no dedicated receptionist/desk person. Horrible business move. (The calls are usually NOT quick, because they're explaining the whole policy of reserving same day appointment times only to each caller, and then answering questions; also a lot of time spent explaining the policy to walk in clients. Should be posted and on a recording for the phone.) A few people walked out after waiting a significant amount of time, and one guy was clearly unhappy, making nasty comments about "this is ridiculous!" Felt bad for the stylists as the policy is not their doing, but it was frustrating. I'm happy with my kids haircuts, but it took way too long. DO NOT come here if you need or want something quick. read more

My 3 year old son has very difficult hair to cut. It has tons of cowlicks and is completely straight. We almost always leave the hairdresser with his hair sticking up everywhere and oddly cut bangs. We have been to multiple places and seen many stylists but his hair nearly always looks crooked and messy for weeks after a haircut. I never blame the stylists because I know he has difficult hair and he is only 3 so really the only goal is to make sure his hair isn't in his eyes. However, it would be nice if he didn't look like Dennis the Menace everytime. Well, Miranda at Supercuts worked her magic and he looks awesome! He has never had better haircut. She listened to me as I (probably annoyingly) explained his hair and specifically how I hoped she could cut it. She took her time, was very professional, and clearly knew what she was doing. She used a few techniques to cut and blend his very straight hair and his hair actually lays flat on his head and his bangs don't look like they were cut while riding a roller coaster! I am so impressed and will be back to visit Miranda from now on. read more
