Not walk-in friendly... Just wanted a quick cut after work and so I checked in as a walk-in & the system placed me in line for a couple hours later. There was nobody else there waiting & the hairstylist finished up who she was and just told me "Hey you're not scheduled til 5:30 sorry." rather than taking me next as a walk-in since nobody was there waiting. Their check in system is terrible. I made an online appointment yesterday, and today about an hour before the appointment I got an email saying my requested time was rejected. I came in and had to sign in as a walk in. I'm 10th on the list. The stylists couldn't explain why this would happen and didn't seem to care. Seriously annoying. Kippi did a great job with my super long, thick, curly pandemic hair that hadn't been cut for over a year. Right out of the gate she was super kind, COVID conscious, and interested in what kind of cut I wanted. I went for the wash which felt safe and luxurious. We then talked through some options. I wanted to go short at first, but wasn't 100% sure. She suggested cutting some length and then evaluating if I wanted more off from there. She put in lots of long layers and we decided to keep some of the length this time. She assured me that if I got home and changed my mind I could call her and come back in. The low rating is for the difficulty of scheduling a haircut at Super Cuts in Austin. The process could not be any less user friendly if they designed it purposely to be frustrating. The app ostensibly lets you schedule, but only shows open appointments, if any, for the next hour. If you try to call for an appointment you get voicemail and NO ONE EVER answers the phone. A customer needs to either check the app every hour and rush to the shop if there happens to be an open appointment or drive to the shop to find out if there is an hour or two wait. We've used Super Cuts and their competitors in two other states and never seen anything this frustrating. The only reason I gave two stars rather than one is that, after going through this ordeal, David actually gave my wife and me pretty good haircuts. Not sure I will go through this again, but not the haircutter's fault. read more

I just left this Supercuts Westlake location. I cannot say enough about how awesome it is! The staff top any staff, anywhere that I have been in my past to have my hair cut . Tina is my go to stylist and can pretty much read my mind on how I want my hair. She's excellent!!!! The entire staff are the best , Tina, Kippi , David and Valerie! Also the place is always so clean and neat. At other places I would feel uncomfortable a lot of times when getting hair cuts , highlights, etc.... This Supercuts is the first place I feel like I can relax , it's like I'm getting my hair cut at home. EVERYONE is so welcoming and friendly! I Definitely recommend checking it out !!!! read more

I have totally underestimated the quality that Supercuts has to offer! I followed my boyfriend and his brother to get their haircuts & WOW warm greetings from the staff, clean-nice environment, and super affordable prices! $19ish bucks for a haircut and shampoo! The $3 extra bucks for the shampoo was totally worth it! I had Natasha shampoo/cut my hair today and she was very mindful and professional! Very good scalp massage using quality name brand products! Not to mention the chair in the shampoo area was a massage chair! The cut was clean, nice, and fast! All and all great experience and will definitely come again! read more

I am use to going to a salon where the stylist was a friend and I can get lost in a conversation, while my friend knows how to handle my hair. Myra who is super bubbly and friendly really knew how to keep the conversation going while know how to cut my hair. Even though I had told her how I usually cut my hair and what products I use, she was very helpful and guided me in ways to better style my hair. I've been here many times with the same issue. They can't understand how to manage people who check in on the app against walk-ins. They consistently take people back to get a cut who have been sitting there longer (i.e., walk-ins) before people have checked in online. So what's the point of checking in online? Don't use the app if you go here. Just show up. You will wait less. Doesn't matter if you spent an hour walking around the shopping center, sitting in front of them for 5 min seems to be a like a cat with a laser pointer. read more

We always have a great experience at this Supercuts location and ALWAYS request Christina. What an amazing stylist. Both of my young boys go to her and they just think she's wonderful. Both of my boys have severe cowlicks so their cuts need to be incredibly precise or there are fly always that cannot be controlled. Since going to Christina, they've never had an issue. Today, she even taught my youngest about how to use certain ends of a comb as well as the best way to style his hair with cream. Love her! read more

The stylists here are obviously trained for speed and quality is not a priority. My haircut after having grown out for 3 weeks (rather long for a military man) took less than 3 minutes. I asked for a simple fade with a number 2 and nothing off the top. The first stroke of the clippers went halfway across my scalp and it was all down hill from there. The fade was ridiculously choppy making my cut a complete oxymoron. I am mortified by it and for $13.95 I feel completely ripped off. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here. read more

So you might thing 2 people are in front of you when 5 are. I have been coming to this, and only this, location for 3.5 years and am beyond satisfied. I am a 43 yr old male who keeps his hair very short and I get it cut every 10-14 days and TRUST me NO ONE is more picky than I AM. I feel very comfortable pointing out little areas that I'd like altered ever so slightly so it's perfect. I have had long time personal experience with the Manager Kippi and the stylists Tina and Myra and I'm telling you that the WestBank Market Supercuts is the place to go to get a superior haircut and style from professionals who take pride in their work and MOST IMPORTANTLY want you to love your haircut and are 100% committed to your happiness and satisfaction. Should have read the reviews earlier. I just moved into the neighborhood so I thought I would give them a try. They were busy so I felt Angelina just sped through haircut and was annoyed that I didn't know the detailed way I like my haircut. No kidding, I was in the chair for no more than 3 minutes and she didn't me offer products or even ask just went straight to the register to get me out (I needed products but with type of behavior I decided I would go elsewhere for my products since she couldn't be bothered) There were 2 gentlemen getting a haircuts when I arrived and they were still with their stylist when I left. I find it difficult to tolerate people in the customer service field that don't try to provide at least good service. I will drive down mopac to get my family's haircuts. It sucks because we live down the street and it so convenient but I know I'll e annoyed if I go back in after my initial experience. read more

I am very dissatisfied with my haircut experience. My stylist, Kippi, knicked my hair while using clippers without a guard and was not forthcoming in telling me so. I was rushed out of the chair with no QC "mirror check" and I soon figured out why. I'm the type to let a minor detail go but this was blatantly terrible. We're talking a 1/2 inch bald above the ear. DO NOT GO HERE! I wish there were negative stars to rate this "salon". My daughter and I had one of the worst haircut experiences here that I have had in all my 45 years. The 'stylist" treated my 12 year old daughter like a rag doll. I paid the $30 to get her a wash, cut & blow dry. The woman, I didn't get her name, but was a middle aged heavyset dark haired woman, yanked my daughter's beautiful thick curly/wavy hair so hard she didn't even see that my daughter was streaming tears down her face. I finally had to stop her before she even completed the service and my daughter ran crying from the salon. I was so flustered and didn't want them to call the police on me so I paid the full $30 for 1/2 the service. She didn't even offer to charge less! I called the corporate customer service number to let them know about our experience and the first guy that helped me - again I neglected to get his name because he was so nice and had great customer service. He assured me that he would get me a refund, and took my address and other information. I never heard back from anyone and never received a refund. I called back the other day & spoke to the "manager" of franchise operations, Margaret "Smith" as she told me. She told me that her office was not authorized to issue refunds for franchise operations. She said she would call the owner and strongly suggest to her to resolve the situation. Never heard back from anyone. I am disgusted with the whole company. I will make it my mission to tell as many people as I possibly can not to go into this supercuts - both by word of mouth and on line.
