Whenever I visit somewhere I always like to check out the thrift shops in the area. I saw this was one of the best in the area on Tik Tok, so I decided to check it out. It is pretty big, and has some cool t-shirts. Personally, I didn't love a lot of the clothes, but I found some cool t-shirts. They had some nice antiques and knick knacks and my grandma was shocked that she used to own a lot of them before. We didn't talk to the workers, but overall as a thrifter I have been to better ones. read more

Man, this place was like walking into my mom's closet back in the 80's-90's- I could have spent all day here! Sure, it's not priced like your local Goodwill (who btw are greedy mf's) but this place is so curated and you can tell each item was specifically chosen for your nostalgic pleasure! The only drawback is that I am still fat 6 months postpartum so I don't fit into any of their women clothes especially since back in the day, everything was tinier. I did score a grandpa looking windbreaker in the men section which made my chubby ass happy. My kid found so many gems but I had to rail him in or else he'll spend his whole college tuition. I wish I had caught the name of the man who rang us up, he was pretty rad and extra points for thinking my kid was my brother. I am definitely motivated to lose weight now but until then, I'll still come back and bring my broke bff to shop. read more

An adequate thrift shop. I appreciate there is a lot of various decades of 20th century clothing styles but also wish that there was some current clothing styles, too. The prices were not worth the vintage/retro styles and worn condition of some clothing items. The employee at the front wasn't that friendly and didn't greet my friend and I when we walked in. I knew Super Thrift possessed unique clothing, bric a brac, and media when I spotted a Public Enemy tanktop in the t-shirt section. I have been to a few thrifts in my time, and I can only think of one time I have ever seen any Public Enemy merchandise. I recollect seeing an old Wango Tango shirt too. This store tries to outdo itself on a regular basis, or so it seems. The prices here want praise too. They're at best cheap and at worst reasonable. I do not perceive the owner here has much interest in fleecing people for cool yet dusty slacks, jackets, blouses, and shirts. Sure some of the more desirable pieces are priced accordingly, but I did not see anything along the lines of $45 for a Rolling Stones shirt that might or not have been bought at Target anyway. I bought a cool starter warm up shirt for $4. Probably would have been $7 or $8 at even a fairly cheap spot. The cool inventory and most affordable prices at Super Thrift are the effort of the diligent owner, Martin. He functions effectively in the estate sale business. I wonder whether Martin has not seen most all of the typical valuables, baubles, and curiosities to be found in the average US residence. The knowledge he has acquired about estate sales and about keeping a thrift store running smoothly definitely caught my attention. I found his conversation thoughtful and edifying. I highly recommend stopping by Super Thrift. This store lives up to its name. read more

The name of the store is kinda deceiving. I thought I was going to an actual thrift store but it ended up being a vintage haven which was very cool, just unexpected. I know thrift stores can have vintage items but everything in here felt vintage and was priced accordingly. I think the vintage prices are more than fair and less than any other vintage store I've been in. It's a very cool place, fun to browse and has some super cool finds depending on what you're looking for. The owner is super nice and friendly. At first I felt like I wasn't finding anything good, all it took was for me to look up and see all the gems being hung from the roof lol so I'd definitely look up prior to searching the racks. I grew up going here for piecing together costumes! First time back in several years and everything is just how I remember. The prices are so low -- making Super Thrift a must even if you have to drive, it's beyond worth checking it out! The only 'negative' is that they have no central ac. All the clothes were very expensive for pre-owned items. No price on household items so I'm not sure if those are overpriced but my guess is probably yes. I'm talking $28 dollars for regular graphic T-shirt's and around $30 for a plain dress. Those seem like prices I'd expect to pay if it was brand new and special. Really disappointing. I always passed by this store and finally visited with my daughter. As soon as you come in, you smell vintage. Lots of clothes for men and women! The owner's name is Martin and he is friendly. Most of the price tags includes the style (70s, 80s, 90s). There are other items in the store such as cds, cassettes, books, movies, but not much. We liked the music he was playing too (80s). This is a very curated vintage store. Meaning I can tell he takes the time to select the pieces he feels will make the most profit, I saw nothing under $15 and everything less than that is barely vintage. So I'd say come in here ready to spend money. You will find some vintage pieces just not at thrift store prices. read more

A couple friends brought me here to shop for an 80's theme party outfit. I had heard about this store being great for some years now but never came. Martin helped us out and he made the whole experience so easy and nice. He is extremely knowledgeable and this place has some great stuff that I wanted just because! True vintage items that were displayed well and in super condition. We told our other friends to look for their party outfits too and they also had a great experience. I've been to some pretty good thrift stores, but I can't count this one in. No prices on any of the home wares makes me nervous about arbitrarily picking a price. Clothing was not even organized according to long and short sleeves. All the linens and lace table decorations had large stains or rips in them and should just be thrown out. I love this place! I had heard about it from a friend about a year ago. The owner is super nice and he buys a lot of his stuff for the store. AKA he goes to the maximum effort to hand select products for his shop - which is amazing. The coolest thing about coming here is that generally if you're looking for something you can probably find it - to a certain liking - and the owner has a lot of knowledge of his products so he can help you too. I've found some really fun costumes and festival outerwear. The jewelry selection is super cool too. They have everything from clothes to DVDs, to antique cups, to jewelry and purses and shoes. Hate to break it to you men, BUT the women's section is a bit larger. Super Thrift is a gem. The only five star gem I've ever reviewed. Super thrift standard thrift and vintage items; they offer both vintage and thrift clothing, trinkets, knick knacks, housewares, records, books, videotapes, Jewelry and few other small random collectible type items. The only downfall is that the shop does not offer furniture. The store's strengths lie in their collectibles and their vintage clothing. Although there is pretty decent selection of all the categories of items the store has to offer, the amount and variety of awesome vintage clothing and neat collectibles ( think kitschy 80's mugs and owl statues) blows any other store that I've been to out of the water. The only comparison that I could draw to this quality and volume of item would be at a really great row of stands at the Rose Bowl flea market. The prices here are excellent. Like I mentioned previously, there are both thrift and vintage items so they are in different price brackets but not remarkably so. For the most part the store is like a grocery store, the cheap "junk" is on the inside and the pricier more wholesome "vintage" is on the outside. Thrift: prices here run on the low end. T shirts are two or three dollars and bottoms are a few more dollars. The clothing items I saw, were on average, a few dollars cheaper than they would have cost at a chain thrift store. All items were priced individually. Books were either a dollar or two, videotapes were two dollars and I believe records were two dollars maybe three. These are pretty standard prices. Vintage: prices are excellent. Since a lot of these items are very unique and are collectible, it's a little more difficult to categorize their prices. Many of the things in the store can be found online on eBay or similar and what you can do is go on eBay if you have a smart phone and compare the price. I did this with the item that I purchased and several things in the store I owned or was familiar with the value and was aware of the bargain. Also, remember that you won't be paying shipping so although you may not be getting the "lowest" price you may be getting the lower price, you'll see the product before you buy it and you'll be supporting local Business. Evaluating clothing may be a little more difficult. If that was just too much and you're thinking " jeez, I just need a slammin outfit for that whatever retro party and I swear to god, if I leave this party single I'm spending next week drinking in my bed" you're in the right place- in one visit you're going to be able to pick an awesome retro shirt for around thirty bucks. If you are looking to get *really* lucky that night you may get an entire outfit for around a hundred. The customer service is what takes this store to the next level. As soon as I walked in, Martin, The owner, asked if I needed help with anything. If you frequent thrift stores as often as me you know what a rarity this is. Eventually after I did my initial sweep of the store I found myself by the front counter chatting it up with Martin again; he was unbelievably personable, informed and I could instantly tell how passionately he felt about his store, the inventory and about vintage and thrift. Not only did Martin answer some questions about the store and items that I had been looking for but he was also able to answer some questions for me about the vintage industry that I had not been able to find from any other shop keepers I've come into contact with. Every question I had Martin answered. The store is relatively organized. I found it easy to distinguish what areas were designated to thrift clothing and which areas were designated to more vintage items. All of the prices are labeled clearly. Collectibles were organized in shelves around the store and although I had difficulty understanding if they were categorized, I found Martin to be so helpful and aware of his inventory that if I had been looking for a particular item in the store, he'd be able to tell me if the store had it and where it would probably be. There are also dressing rooms. Here's the final word: If you live in LA or Orange County and are tired of getting ripped off by overpriced vintage stores or if you are just serious thrifter you gotta check this place out. If you're a thrifter looking for affordable, modern secondhand clothing OR looking for true vintage clothing, then Super Thrift is the shop for you! In here, you'll find well-curated items of clothing, shoes and accessories for men & women. Everything inside is organized by article of clothing and then size, so looking through the many racks of clothing isn't a hassle. The store has an open floor plan, which makes it easy to maneuver around, and doesn't have that musty, "garage sale" smell that most thrift shops do. You'll find that the casual clothing will cost less than the vintage pieces in the shop, but the pricing difference isn't vast. The vintage pieces are more moderately priced (very reasonable), while the modern secondhand clothes are extremely affordable. This is because the vintage clothing in this shop are in good condition and of good quality. A really great pro is that there's a dressing room available!! (An amenity lacking in many thrift shops.) The owner Martin is friendly, very personable, but knows when to engage you in easy conversation or give you privacy to browse. You can tell he has a passion, not just for secondhand clothing, but for vintage items! He'll be able to tell you more about whichever item and is eager to help you look for whatever you may need. The customer service in this shop was amazing. The only con is I wish it were closer to me so I could visit more often!!
