Chemically our bodies are made up of approximately 1,457,004 different little things and thanks to modern technology we can get every single one of those things from a pill or a powder or a sub-lingual solution that odds are tastes really really bad. If you are like me (lord help you if you are) you enjoy a good supplement store, well, alright, I really really like these kinds of places and if it wasn't for the fact I was buying vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbs here it would be bad for me. Alright, alright! You made me admit it, this place, Super Supplements, is freakin' Disneyland for supplement addicts! This place is pretty new, just opened a few months ago so when you walk in it still has that new store smell to it. Marie Thompson, the manager is incredibly knowledgeable especially in homeopathy, her staff continues to impress me with great customer service every time. Helpful, but not pushy, they let you browse without hovering and always great suggestions and sometimes even have free samples of products you can try. My main interest is in Nutrition 53 products (owned by former NFL Linebacker Bill Romanowski) and they have most of the products I need in stock. Any that I want but are not in stock can be in store within 4 days maximum, without shipping charges. I have used them to pick up Kelp, Vitamin D, a shaker bottle and a variety of proteins and amino acids. Prices are fair, I know some people think they are a little high but you have to realize that Super Supplements doesn't carry junk like some drug stores or big box stores, everything there is from a quality manufacturer made with the best stuff. So yeah, take your $4 Walmart vitamins, you'll get out of them what you pay for them. Once you try stuff that really works you'll never go back. Speaking of shaker bottles, they carry this amazing bottle called the Blender Bottle, it has a round wire ball inside of it to act like a whisk. It is so freakin' cool! There's always this wet, powdery glump at the bottom of the bottle or glass when you mix by spoon, but not with this thing, you shake it up and even the hardest thing to stir (for me that's Nutrition 53 Neuro1) is perfectly mixed, no glumps or clumps. Best $7 I ever spent. Somewhere, some person thought of this and is a multi-millionaire now. I hate that person. In closing I just have to say, get out of drug stores and big box stores for your healthy supplement needs, go someplace with knowledgeable people, a good selection and where everybody knows your name. I would have to guess that in the last several years, since the last review was written about this supplement store, a lot has changed? All I know is that for one of these GNC style vitamin shops, this one is great. For me it was the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Asif helped us find just what we were looking for. After careful product checking/comparing by Asif, he was able to offer us a less expensive alternative. The generic version, if you will. While I was there last, they had several different items on demo, a la Trader Joes or Whole Foods. It's got big open aisles, like the rich stores, but a down home friendly feel, which is upheld with great vigor by the staff. They know their products, and seem to be having a good time doing it, what's better than that? Okay, a few things, but visiting Super Supplements always makes me feel better. read more

I was in dire need of my workout stack. Preworkout and creatine and what not. There was a delay in shipping for my supplements and I found myself right outside of super supplements. I thought it was just gonna be another store for those yoga moms looking for prenatal supplements and essential oils. Boy was I WRONG. Preworkout, pump formula, bcaa/eaas, protein. Arrived a few minutes before closing time, after driving all the way from Portland and they already had the doors locked and the sign off and refused to open the door. I literally needed something for my sick child while everyone else was closed for the night since it was a Sunday night. I knew exactly what I wanted and tried to tell them I would be using debit. NOT a GNC-type store AT ALL. Vegetarian/vegan and cruelty-free supplements and products abound including hair-care products, deodorants', lotions, dog and cat products (even treats!), and more! Everything is well-organized in clearly marked aisles/sections. If you currently buy products at New Seasons or Whole Foods, this is your new store for non-food items. AMAZING! read more
