My husband and I recently visited The Herbery and were very pleased with the service we received. Aiden is such a polite and helpful young man. He helped us to find just what we went there to get. We plan to visit again next time we're in the area! read more

First time in here as I mostly shop by my work in Downtown Portland. The store itself was just ok. The stars of this visit were the budtenders, Joe and Jason. Real stoners. The guys your mom would find charming but didnt know they were smoking out her son. These dudes were so cool. I already forgot what I smoked but it was great, they really knew their shit. More budtenders like Joe and Jason please read more

I've waited some time to write this - Worst customer experience I've had at a dispensary. I've never shopped at another dispensary other than the Herbery until I visited this location. Me and my crew of Army Veteran's usually go to the St. John's location near my work and have nothing bad to say about that place, it's amazing. Go there instead. There's an employee at Chkalov (5'10", skinny, unkept, caucasian, acne and a wimpy voice) who is unprofessional and rude even after being tipped generously $$. After selling me the wrong item, I asked if he could help me exchange it for the right one and he immediately got defensive and shoved the bag inches from my face saying "WHAT DOES THIS SAY?" I kept it calm and I told him it wasn't what I wanted and let's just handle this. He refused to help me and got his manager, but when she arrived his energy was so innocent and polite it made me sick. What a snake ...I hope they see through you one day. I've given a lot, but never again to this location. read more

My first experience at The Herbery is one I won't ever forget! Just turned 21 felt a bit lost but felt so welcome and comfortable.its now become the only place I go . Always a pleasure to feel so welcome every time I enter. As well as feeling heard and understood when looking for new things. One of the first few people I met was Hope and she has been such a sweet bud tender! And has the best nails ! Always excited to see what her next set is ! Overall I would definitely recommend to any friend or family ! read more

Great service every time I go in here and they are always knowledgeable and usually have great deals! always have some kind of sale going on. Great selection on all kinds of cannabis products! read more

I usually go to Plane Janes in portland as they have quality stuff + 20% off on Fridays but occasionally visit the herbery when I can't make the drive to my preferred dispensary. Never coming back to the Herbery again. 90% of the cartridges I've gotten here were leaky or horrible quality. They only accept returns under certain conditions so I end up wasting my money each time. Horrible customer service and the value for my money just isn't there. read more

-5 If I could! Poor management and even worse customer service. They put on a fake face everyday so you buy something. But once it comes to them having to honor an exchange they are quick to show their true colors. Complete absolute waste of time and money this place is!! I'll definitely be sticking to my normal spot from now on! Lesson learned Bought a 1g cartridge and it busted the same day 01/14/23 I live about 45 minutes from them so I called ahead a day in advance 01/15/23. I spoke with a sell's associate and she brought the matter up to management explaining my situation. After a brief hold she returned saying that there would be no issue bringing the full broken cart back with the receipt of purchase for an exchange for a new one. 01/16/23 I brought the cart back to be told it's illegal to have a cart out in the store and I need my package it came in and there's nothing they can do without the package.. apparently this policy is written on the receipt and the sells associate I spoke with never mentioned this. Drove all the way there to be turned away over something I called in advance on to avoid this!! Such a crappy place read more

Outstanding customer service 10 + Great selection & prices are great. Friendly, knowledgeable and just overall great v8be from the sec you walk in read more

This is my go to dispensary for all things hooter friendly and helpful staff, pricing is competitive

Been coming to this location for years and it has been nothing but a great time! The staff is so wonderful and helpful! Even a few of them have remembered my name. With the remodel the store has looked so wonderful!! I always plan to come to this location because I believe it doesn't get much better than here. Great staff, great location and great prices as well. The rewards system is amazing as well! read more

Bought a battery for my pen here attempted to use it the battery never worked. When I went to return it with the receipt and packaging 3 days later the manager basically called me a liar and said it wasn't the same battery and refused to return it. Would not buy anything here because they clearly don't honor their return policy and will sell you products that simply don't work. read more

Used to be one of my go to dispensary's since it's just down the street from me. Till today me and my boyfriend are in there almost every other day if not everyday. And the day I decide to not go in with him he was getting discriminated for the way he was dressing these people who see us everyday denied my boyfriend to go in because there was a bubble in his ID which they know wasn't there before he had accidentally put it in the washer with the rest of his wallet and continued to tell him it was fake, they did 3 scans and looked at it with 2 flashlights. Won't be coming here anymore read more

very disappointed in not only the Herbery, but other dispensaries in Vancouver area! Either they're not trying or sampling their growers herbs or they simply are getting a good deal I don't care about the quality and selling them on "sale". lately I've noticed a large increase in hermaphroditng buds being sold and they are pretending that they don't know that it is this way or they are simply not telling us either way he is extremely messed up to be selling mid shelf to top shelf herb containing seeds ready for germenating and/or seed pods. read more

Went here to get last minute goodies before the holidays. They were super busy but Ashley K helped me out immediately. She was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I didn't feel rushed at all even tho the place was full. Will definitely be going to this location again!! read more

I would like to extend a huge "Thank You" to the owner of The Herbery and Sean from Sunshine Farms. Their response to my concerns was almost immediate and the information they provided me with went above and beyond. I'm extremely impressed with the initiative they took to ensure that I had the best experience with both their companies and the quality of their product. The professionalism and willingness to answer any and every question that I had has absolutely convinced me to stick with The Herbery. read more

they never have my usual stuff anymore. used to be my go to, but i will honestly be going out of my way to a different, farther away dispensary just to avoid the disappointment with The Herbery. Used to be good and now it just turned into a big name like Walmart style lame dispensary that is overpriced. the people working there are amazing at least. if you want the best customer service and not many options for overpriced flower, then i guess it would do. just not my thing anymore. they lost me read more

I so completely appreciate the Herbery's car service! You order online and they send you a confirmation/pickup text. Then just park in an "online pickup" spot and text them your info and they'll come outside to take payment/get ID. I am living with my elderly parents during covid and have been avoiding spending time inside of businesses so I love having this option. Ps the budtender with red hair and killer bangs is the sweetest! read more

Worse dispensary!!! They don't stand behind there products. There return policy is a joke there cartridges wasn't working and refuse to exchange the damage product. Even tho I had just walked out there store, had the receipt and package in my hand. Then employee proceeded to use his mouth to test the product. read more

Pretty good deals. Our go to spot, great service always in n out quickly. Great for indica and indica hybrids haven't tried anything else

I needed CBD oil for my cat. The staff was friendly, informative and I found the perfect product that makes him feel like he has all four legs again! The store is clean, well priced and I felt safe there. read more

OMG! Do not go here. TOTAL ripoff. $75 for a qtr when I found the SAME downtown for $30. - I told them and they chuckled. I really thought the getting burned days were over.. guess not read more

They have way to many different weird brand carts and it feels like they all bad quality.

The workers here are super helpful, and the store is very clean and professional looking. The bud tenders know their stuff, and they accept CanPay, which is super helpful and saves you ATM fees. One of the higher quality herb shops in the area to be sure! read more

I went here looking for a specific strain called Ace of Spades. Saw their inventory online and Called first they verified they had some. Once I got there they just had pre rolls, I was trying to get a specific strain to take pictures of it, so I wanted to get some actual flower. Rep was very knowledgeable and suggestive. If I wasn't looking for that specific strain, I definitely would have bought more but I was on a mission that day. Will return. It's in a shopping center so there's parking near and far, as soon as you go in there a full display in front and one off to the side. read more

All the staff were in proper covid gear. A gentleman named Boston helped me. Boston was very polite and had good recommendations. Sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He also told me about the area a little bit I told him I just moved here and he was quite welcoming and friendly. I will be coming back if this is how all the staff is! Great place, great staff, great bud. read more

The Herbery is the first dispensary I found after moving to Washington and it's still my favorite. The first time I came in, and each time since, I was excitedly welcomed and everyone was super friendly. Every budtender I've worked with at The Herbery has been knowledgeable, friendly, and amazingly helpful. Each visit is a fantastic experience. read more

Poor service at the Chakalov location. The tall red headed guy with the belly really couldn't be bothered to wait on me. I will not go there again. Try the St John's location they are always friendly and helpful. read more

This place is amazing. I read a review on Google that ripped this place a new one, and that review only encouraged me to want to try this place more. That, and the fact that it is walking distance to the Extended Stay that I was staying at. They have a security guard at the front door who was extremely friendly. They have a huge selection of everything, and the employees are very knowledgeable on close to all of it. The stuff they don't know much about they are up front about it. At least three employees helped us, and each of them made us feel more than welcome. This place has killer product, amazing employees, and security that makes you feel comfortable. read more

Lisa & Alex were amazing and helpful for my first time at a dispensary. They listened to what I wanted, as well as where I was at as a returning newbie, and made great recommendations! I had considered going to Craft on Mill Plain, but after reading their reviews compared to The Herbery, I decided to spend my money at The Herbery and I definitely made the right choice! read more

They conduct business as usual. No complaints outside the fact that once a customer bought out their edible drinks I like, but that's the point right? read more

Not great at customer service. It started out with me getting a call from the manager at this location. He informed me that two of the four items I ordered were sold to someone else and that I had to pick something else. Pickings were already slim, I had to opt for one that costed $3 more. Most managers would just eat the extra cost for their screw up, but that doesn't happen here. I get to the shop and I am told by the curbside budtender that they also don't have the third item I ordered, but they have something comparable (comparable - of equivalent quality; worthy of comparison.). At this point I just want my order. So, I threw my hands in the air and said sure. Originally my order was supposed to be $46 total, but with the item change with the manager, total should be $49 and since the third replacement item is comparable to the one they sold out my change should be $11. Boy was I wrong! I handed them $60 and ID and I got back only $4 dollars back and ID. Apparently my lovely budtender forgot to mention the third replacement item was $7 more than what I originally ordered. How is this comparable?! With no real apology she offers to return the item for me, but at this point I didn't feel like dealing with b.s anymore so I told her to just forget it and took the items. This used to be my favorite location. Not anymore. I might find a new dispensary altogether. Hope they don't mess up your order and make you pay more. read more

I am a cannabis Extractor for the state of Oregon, but reside here in Washington. Always trying to support my community I spend my hard earned cash here often. With the experience I have usually I know what I want, sometimes Though I even need a little help when I'm exhausted from those jobs. Today Shane served me the BEST I HAVE EVER BEEN TREATED. He's knowledgeable of their products, he has character and treats you with the respect you deserve. I was two pulls into my top shelf preroll pack and man I am nothing but satisfied with his selections. Thank you for making my experience worth it tonight! read more

I'd like to update my previous review and report that the staff at The Herbery Chkalov has been very helpful in addressing the concerns I posted on 12.13.19. Bought a vape pen. It died in six days. I went to back to the store with proof of purchase, but they told me that bc I didn't have the packaging, I was hosed. The Herbery doesn't stand behind their products, nor do they value customers. read more
