I've waited some time to write this - Worst customer experience I've had at a dispensary. I've never shopped at another dispensary other than the Herbery until I visited this location. Me and my crew of Army Veteran's usually go to the St. John's location near my work and have nothing bad to say about that place, it's amazing. Go there instead. There's an employee at Chkalov (5'10", skinny, unkept, caucasian, acne and a wimpy voice) who is unprofessional and rude even after being tipped generously $$. After selling me the wrong item, I asked if he could help me exchange it for the right one and he immediately got defensive and shoved the bag inches from my face saying "WHAT DOES THIS SAY?" I kept it calm and I told him it wasn't what I wanted and let's just handle this. He refused to help me and got his manager, but when she arrived his energy was so innocent and polite it made me sick. What a snake ...I hope they see through you one day. I usually go to Plane Janes in portland as they have quality stuff + 20% off on Fridays but occasionally visit the herbery when I can't make the drive to my preferred dispensary. Never coming back to the Herbery again. 90% of the cartridges I've gotten here were leaky or horrible quality. They only accept returns under certain conditions so I end up wasting my money each time. Horrible customer service and the value for my money just isn't there. read more

I spoke with a sell's associate and she brought the matter up to management explaining my situation. After a brief hold she returned saying that there would be no issue bringing the full broken cart back with the receipt of purchase for an exchange for a new one. 01/16/23 I brought the cart back to be told it's illegal to have a cart out in the store and I need my package it came in and there's nothing they can do without the package.. apparently this policy is written on the receipt and the sells associate I spoke with never mentioned this. Used to be one of my go to dispensary's since it's just down the street from me. Till today me and my boyfriend are in there almost every other day if not everyday. And the day I decide to not go in with him he was getting discriminated for the way he was dressing these people who see us everyday denied my boyfriend to go in because there was a bubble in his ID which they know wasn't there before he had accidentally put it in the washer with the rest of his wallet and continued to tell him it was fake, they did 3 scans and looked at it with 2 flashlights. Bought a battery for my pen here attempted to use it the battery never worked. When I went to return it with the receipt and packaging 3 days later the manager basically called me a liar and said it wasn't the same battery and refused to return it. Would not buy anything here because they clearly don't honor their return policy and will sell you products that simply don't work. read more

I so completely appreciate the Herbery's car service! You order online and they send you a confirmation/pickup text. Then just park in an "online pickup" spot and text them your info and they'll come outside to take payment/get ID. I am living with my elderly parents during covid and have been avoiding spending time inside of businesses so I love having this option. I went here looking for a specific strain called Ace of Spades. Saw their inventory online and Called first they verified they had some. Once I got there they just had pre rolls, I was trying to get a specific strain to take pictures of it, so I wanted to get some actual flower. Rep was very knowledgeable and suggestive. If I wasn't looking for that specific strain, I definitely would have bought more but I was on a mission that day. Will return. This place is amazing. I read a review on Google that ripped this place a new one, and that review only encouraged me to want to try this place more. That, and the fact that it is walking distance to the Extended Stay that I was staying at. They have a security guard at the front door who was extremely friendly. They have a huge selection of everything, and the employees are very knowledgeable on close to all of it. The stuff they don't know much about they are up front about it. At least three employees helped us, and each of them made us feel more than welcome. This place has killer product, amazing employees, and security that makes you feel comfortable. read more

Not great at customer service. It started out with me getting a call from the manager at this location. He informed me that two of the four items I ordered were sold to someone else and that I had to pick something else. Pickings were already slim, I had to opt for one that costed $3 more. Most managers would just eat the extra cost for their screw up, but that doesn't happen here. I get to the shop and I am told by the curbside budtender that they also don't have the third item I ordered, but they have something comparable (comparable - of equivalent quality; worthy of comparison.). At this point I just want my order. So, I threw my hands in the air and said sure. Originally my order was supposed to be $46 total, but with the item change with the manager, total should be $49 and since the third replacement item is comparable to the one they sold out my change should be $11. Boy was I wrong! I handed them $60 and ID and I got back only $4 dollars back and ID. Apparently my lovely budtender forgot to mention the third replacement item was $7 more than what I originally ordered. How is this comparable?! With no real apology she offers to return the item for me, but at this point I didn't feel like dealing with b.s anymore so I told her to just forget it and took the items. This used to be my favorite location. Not anymore. I might find a new dispensary altogether. Hope they don't mess up your order and make you pay more. read more
