Not only have i been going to him for ten years now, but the two charming ladies that work along side him make a team like no other... clearly my go to guy so to speak, when i need alterations, and or ideas on how i can improve my attire... off the rack products are just slightly off the mark most of the time. He always sees my vision of comfort and style. His years of experience, combined with his innate ability to see the end result, are on par with a designer way of thinking, which i feel is crucial in order to set yourself apart, as he has done so well for me, and other customers that I've witnessed on my visits.... DO NOT hesitate in doing business with these people, whom i now call friends. I have been taking my clothes for alteration here for many years - business attire, gala dresses and casual (jeans, tops). They have also done fantastic alterations on my daughter's prom dress and bridesmaid dress. When they changed locations I still went to them. UPDATE! Super Stitch has moved again! They're temporarily inside the dry cleaner beside Tim Hortons on Alta Vista near Industrial - the Shoppers Drug Mart mall. I may not be describing the location clearly but give them a call at their same phone number. Still great, fast service. Cash only at the moment as they don't have computer system set up for electronic payments. Let them know if you want a quick turn around and they'll do it. Super Stitch will be moving to Hunt Club Road near The Lone Star in the spring of 2018. read more

I went to Super Stitch at the location beside the Licence Bureau. I was HORRIFIED to find they were not there! The new company did assist me with a quick repair BUT I love Super Stitch. I'm so glad to see that they are still in business. I'm THRILLED that i could find them on a google search. YAY!!!!!! read more

Amazing! The seam in my pants was starting to tear so I dropped them off and the next morning went to pick them up. I started taking my wallet out of my purse and she insisted that I didn't pay because the tear was small. And the pants looked as good as new! read more

Where do I start? I have brought many of my clothes and even Halloween costumes to Super Stitch and they amaze me every time. They are such a pleasure to deal with and their prices are too good to be true. Their work is excellent and very high quality every single time. They are always willing to accommodate my deadline even when they are super short notice at times. They are willing to take on challenging work and do an excellent job every time. I brought a bathing suit here for alterations that I purchased online for 90$ for a trip to Jamaica. I had been told they do good work by my mother in law. I was having them shorten the straps of the bikini top. When I went to pick up the bathing suit, there was a completely new seam sewn into the front and back of the bikini, and there were stress marks all around the seams. I showed them a picture of my bikini when i bought it (I had a picture of the bikini as I had bought it online). They continuously refused that they had created the damage, saying things that made no sense like "we didn't pay attention. I didn't pay attention - you didn't pay attention". I had already paid in advance (I know, stupid me) and the LEAST they could have done is refund me the 20$ I paid for them to absolutely fucking butcher an almost 100$ bathing suit I was supposed to be wearing for a trip in a week. But they refused they had done it. It was my word against theirs. My mother in law even went back the next day, and they also 'explained' to her how it was 'impossible' that they created those seams. (I brought the bikini top to 2 other of my regular tailors and they told me it was 150% possible that those seams had been created by them). I have never had such horrendous customer service in my life. They ruined my bathing suit, made me pay for it, and called me a liar as I walked out the door. I would recommend to never bring clothes here for alterations. there are PLENTY of good tailors in Ottawa who charge the same prices that they do, and I have never had an experience like this at any of them. I would give them 0 stars if I could read more

I had major alterations done to a tuxedo that was a hand me down. It needed to be taken in significantly and they did an amazing job on time and reasonable price - way cheaper than a new tux. read more

These folks do an excellent job at a reasonable price, and the work is ready when promised. Just one thing to watch out for: if you're like me and normally use only plastic money, you'll need to get some cash, since this is the only form of payment accepted. read more
