I have never had such a bad experience in a store ever. My pants were hemmed unevenly. This wasn't a surprise to me given in the store when I was dropping them off, she just rolled up one of the legs with no pins and told me to take them off and give them to her. She told us to pick them up on Tuesday. (We went in the Saturday) When we called up on the Tuesday just to make sure we could pick them up, she rudely said that they had been finished on Monday and why had we not picked them up. We made an appointment to go to another tailor and brought them back to Prestige to get a refund. She kept insisted that she would fix them and she would not hand the pants back to me. Finally, I said forget the refund keep it, give me the pants back we are going somewhere else. She kept insisting that I try them on so I finally did in hopes that she would then just let us leave the store without further argument. She then told me there is nothing wrong with them and wanted us to wait so that she could get someone working nearby at another store to come look at them land prove to me they were fine. When I told her we were leaving she told us she was calling the cops! We had already given up on getting a refund and now she was being ridiculous and actually calling the cops. I, like the cops, I would imagine, had better things to do such as get my pants hemmed properly and then pick up my daughter from school. She then told me that she had my phone number and I told her good she can have the cops call me then. We left the store, went to the other tailors (Master Stitch up) who were polite and agreed that the pants had been done incorrectly. read more
