Showed/told her part of the zipper track is broken but with some effort I could still close the tab. Came back after 20 minutes. The jacket now had one of the tabs completely removed and some of the teeth were missing. She ripped it off and threw it away! The first thing she says? "I cannot fix, it is broken". Really? REALLY?? The best part was she told me it would cost $100 to replace the entire zipper. If she had wanted to break it so she could charge to have it repaired she couldn't have done a better job. Terrible!

She loved her queen size duvet cover and was so sad to have to leave it behind as she was needing to downsize to a twin bed. Wanting to create the most comfortable and familiar space for her in her new care home, I went to Glebe tailoring with the request to have her duvet made into a twin size and needed it to be done on very short notice as I had to return to BC. My mother had no way of picking up the newly tailored duvet cover by herself so they kindly made the alterations in one day. They even offered to deliver it to her care home if I was not able to pick it up for her in time. I also had to purchase her new pants as she lost weight while in the hospital. She is very short and I needed them hemmed on the same timeline. They were able to make the alterations the same day as they knew I needed to leave town. They were SO kind and caring!
