I visited farmers Market super sod and picked up some sod. When I got home realized I did not order enough. So, I placed an order, paid for it and sent a contractor to pick it up. He said he tried to decline 4 pieces, but the young attendant would not listen. After it arrived at my house I noticed don't of was dead on delivery!!! It took me calling and sending pictures for two weeks to get a favorable reply to replace the pieces!! The manager refused to refund my money! Once this situation is resolved I will NEVER go to super sod again! read more

Lousy business. Do not use! Paid several thousand to get zoisia pallets put down in my yard by another provider. The last pallet that cost me $300 never greened up. They refused to talk to me because it was on another providers account even though it was my yard. Ok so I contacted the provider and he contacted them.I sent pictures proving the last pallet was dead. They said I overwatered. Bull!!! Why did the rest of the grass look fine? It got the same water! I do not recommend Super-Sod of Forest Park (Atlanta State Farmers Market). I had a bag of soil delivered and they broke the gate to my fence. I don't know how they managed it, but they split the wood the hinges were in, bent the hinges, and knocked the lattice structure from the top of the fence. I called to let them know (hoping they'd at least offer to knock $50 off my purchase) and it turned into a he-said-she-said situation. The driver said the gate fell off the hinges. That was that. I'm pretty sure they took this photo of the delivery and proceeded to crash their forklift into the gate, but hey, maybe the hinge just decided it was tired and the lattice joined it. read more

I purchased 10 pallets of grass, near $4,000 and all of my grass is dead (FESCUE). I contacted them and they said there is nothing they can do. I have had landscapers and companies to come and look at it and they suggested I call the company back where I purchased the grass to get more. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY GRASS FROM THEM! I do NOT recommend. They had every excuse not to refund nor provide additional grass. read more

I was ordering sod online, at $265.00 per pallet (fantastic price) however, it would not let me order 3 pallets for delivery :( so I called and the lady told me, 'the online price is better than ordering by phone'. I said 'ok' and decided to order online. 2 days went by and I went to order online and it now stated out of stock and the price had changed! I also could not order online without ordering a minimum of 12 pallets!! :( oookkkkkk, so I called again and explained what was going on and this lady said she didn't understand why it would not let me order 3 pallets for delivery? (online states ,order minimum 12 for delivery) when she quoted me $340 per pallet, I explained it was supposed to be less and basically she said there was nothing she could do? It's not good to have different prices in the first place, but then to NOT honor the online price, when I cannot do it, it says out of stock, but it's not?? So I can order 3 pallets for delivery or pick up, over the phone, for a higher price, but cannot order online, at all, for 3 pallets for delivery. I bought several pallet's of fescue sod from the MariEtta location. The manager there was very rude to me every time I went there. All he could say was call or go online for every simple question I had. I couldn't believe it!! Talking about being rude to customers, this guy was rude!! But I tolerated his behavior and bought pallets of fescues sod. This first pallet was good and looked fresh and green. Then I bought another pallet and when picking it up, I said to the manager "Are you sure this is fescue??? He said "Yes". ( the only word I could get him to Say!!! When I installed it, it was falling apart, and brown and nothing like the first pallet. This is a risky business!!! read more

I have used this business many times to pick up small quantities of Zenith Zoysia and St. Augustine sod. It is so convenient to just back up my truck and pick up what I need. The big box stores never have these grass varieties in stock. Super Sod's prices are reasonable, too- and they sometimes give me odd scraps laying around for free Best to call ahead of time and make sure they have sufficient quantities of the sod you need. read more

I do not recommend it. I've been robbed. They did not let me see the grass until I paid for it and they gave me a completely rotten rotten grass, they did not accept to receive it back, I think they gave me the rejection of someone because that grass was not fresh. read more

I've had multiple average interactions with this location. Sometimes they answer the phone but I usually have to call 4 or 5 times to actually speak to someone. They carry mulch but they do not carry pine bark nuggets - (which is one of the most common mulches) They close at 4:30 pm so a home-owner will have a hard time getting there in time to make a purchase anyway. read more

I have a yard that was sodded with TifBlair centipede about 7 years ago (by a local landscaper - not Super-Sod) and it currently has lots of weeds. I did an internet search for TifBlair and found Super-Sod to be the recommended vendor for TifBlair. I sent them an email asking for suggestions on what I could apply to get rid of the weeds (TifBlair can be temperamental). I received an email back immediately with the phone number of a professional in my area who could come look at my lawn and advise me what to do. I was so impressed with their customer service. I Purchased 1 pallet of sod for a special home project, customer service was pleasant & seemed professional - the sod however was the worst clump of nothingness I have ever bought in 30 years - dead, yellow, dry, unhealthy, sparse and totally a waste of time & money. After several days of fertilizing & watering the ugly patchy so-called sod didn't improve, I Called & explained to Daniel White-Mgr - & asked for a replacement - what I got was only Five replacements pieces that weren't much better. An entire pallet of half dead, yellowed, undernourished product that I had to have removed & replaced with real grass from another company. They need to go somewhere & see what "Real" grass is supposed to look like. read more

We had wanted sod for many years and finally decided to purchase from here. When it was put down within a couple of hours after delivery, it looked like a checkerboard with the pieces all different shades and conditions, part of it dead. It could not have been all from the same place and it didn't even look like the same type of grass. It was supposed to be emerald zoysia. My husband asked the site manager to return to look at it, and he did, asking for us to give it a week. The dead grass was still dead and the checkerboard was still there after a week of watering according to directions. . They brought replacements today which look just about as sorry as the originals. It will be a miracle if this yard ever looks decent. I am embarrassed for anyone to ride by and see it and I am extremely disappointed in my "dream" yard. If this were my company, I'd never want my name attached to such a mess! It is a catastrophe and a ton of money wasted. read more
