After arriving I waited a full hour standing up in the hot heat the person told me the wait would be up to only 25 minutes max. By the time we got in the shuttle there was a few seats left and the air was not on so the whole ride back all of the passengers were sweating. The best part was when I wanted to book it on the way back they told me that the only pickup time was 4 hours before my flight boarded. Terrible service and attitude. They sent an SUV for our party of eight. When the driver figured it out he became very angry. He unloaded us on the sidewalk and said he called for a van. Our hotel called over a taxi and we told the super shuttle driver we would split up. He could take four and the other four could ride in the taxi. He shouted at us and the hotel valet. We told him we needed the ride so we wouldn't miss our flight and he just drove off. read more

Had booked Super Shuttle Mexico for round trip ground transportation through Expedia. Arrived at the pickup point and they kept us standing on the curb for over an hour. Finally got tired of waiting and took a cab. The $20. plus a $5. tip for the cab was $2. more than Super Shuttle and no waiting. Do not use them. To top it off we complained to the Expedia employee stationed at our hotel and he cancelled the Super Shuttle round trip and told us to contact Expedia when we returned home and they would credit us for half the cost. When we did this we were told that there would be no refund and it was our tough luck. Also done with Expedia. Too many other similar services. read more

Do not book any transportation through Super Shuttle unless you want to pay a large amount for transportation and then not be picked up. My friends and I booked a private shuttle for 10/20/2017 leaving Playa Del Carmen to Cancún airport. The man at the airport advised us to be outside our hotel at 1pm. Each of us were waiting outside at 1pm and the shuttle was still not there by 1:30. We attempted to call Super Shuttle only to experience a dead dial tone and busy signal. Our bell hop was able to reach them and the shuttle advised them they were there at 12:15 and we didn't show up... therefore they left. They did not call us to communicate this and they were not there at 12:15 either. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! We were forced to take a $110.00 taxi ride last minute and barely made our connecting flight due to transportation delays caused by Super Shuttle. While standing in line to board our plane, I met a couple who almost missed their flight also due to super shuttle providing them the same excuse. This couple was at an entirely different hotel and staying in a separate area from our party. Clearly there's a scam going on here. There are many various companies you can go with for transportation in Cancún - do not take Super Shuttle. Give your money to a company who values their customers time and money. THEY STOLE MY MONEYYYYY. I booked a round trip from cancun airport to Grand Oasis. Apparently there are more than 1 Oasis. They Took me to the wrong one. I called the 1888 number on the receipt. He refused to send me another taxi. Claiming that the trip was successful but I was dropped at the wrong resort. Plus the money that I paid to drop me at my resort was not refundable. I asked them to cancel the service to go back to the airport, he said that he did but I did not get the remaining balance. They basically took my money. STAY AWAY! This place is horrible. I reserved a super shuttle through the SuperShuttle APP. and was confirmed a pick-up time of 7:50 am. I received multiple confirmation emails that stated 7:50a and the app itself said 7:50 am. The day we left, no shuttle. I had the concierge call the local super-shuttle to find out where our driver was and he says they arrived at 7:20 and if I need another ride I would have to pay an addition $120!!! I was livid. We were going to miss our flight, so I ended up catching a taxi for $70, $30 cheaper than the fee I paid for the SuperShuttle btw. I requested a refund from the manager, and he tells me check with Expedia. We get into a screaming match because Expedia had nothing to do with my reservation. I reserved my shuttle directly through super-shuttle. He then tells me to contact the "US SuperShuttle for a refund" which another review because you have to submit a request online. I submitted a request 3 days ago and still haven't heard back from anyone. I have been ripped off! read more

We booked our taxi a year in advance and emailed them when our flight was rebooked they messed our taxi to the hotel up. The day before we were scheduled to leave the shuttle showed up even though we had an email that rebooked with our new flight times. The company basically told us we were out the $100 yes 100 US dollars. They would not send us a shuttle for the airport. I can't believe they are in business, they were rude and unhelpful. We waited for half an hour but the bus did not show up. We called and the one answering the phone said that we entered the wrong address; but we confirmed with the doorman of the hotel that the address was correct!!! Then we tried to reschedule the ride but the person answering the phone said that all their buses were fully booked and they couldn't reschedule it. So eventually we had to take a taxi to the airport and we paid the taxi ourselves. (We also learned that a share ride with super shuttle is no cheaper than taking a taxi!) Super Shuttle said they would be picking us up from our hotel at 1:00pm. We waited in the lobby from noon to 1:30. We tried calling to get a hold of them but it was impossible. I had to locate someone in Guest Services at our hotel who got a hold of them. They stated we were no shows, even though we had been waiting for an hour and a half. They said they arrived at 12:10 and waited twenty minutes. We ended up having to take a very expensive taxi and almost missed our flight. While at the airport several other people we talked to said super shuttle also did not pick them up as well and had to go through the same thing as us. I would highly recommend to NOT take this service seeing as how they were highly unreliable. read more

DO NOT USE It would be easier to walk to where you want to go. These people do not care about you at all. That will happily leave you stranded wherever you are if you paid in advance. When we called the morning of our return flight to confirm our shuttle, we were told the shuttle we had already paid for would not be able to pick us up because they overbooked. Our sales associate Christain Agredano, yelled at us and cursed at us the entire time we were on the phone with him. This man claimed to be the CEO of the company and outright refused to transfer us to any one else. This man provided the worst costumer service I have ever seen. I recently used SuperShuttle because I didn't plan ahead for a private transfer and ended up going towards a familiar brand when I exited T3. It cost only $17 for a shared van to the southern Hotel Zone and I had to wait there only five minutes. Quality of service and vehicle were excellent. However, it probably helped that I was staying in the Hotel Zone so it is much easier to fill vans going that way. read more

I had my carryon with me the entire day, through two airports it was always with me... the only time I was NOT in control of that bag was when it was I. The back of your van... the driver went back there to get luggage at every stop and I'm sure needed to move and restock everyone's bags... We were also the last passengers to board the van so my bags had to be moved more than once to get everyone else's bags for them... when I got to my room after checking in, the stack of ones and fives I packed in my carryon to use for tip money was gone through... I could tell immediately because the ones were in bank wraps, one wrap was ripped and one you could immediately tell wasn't full with $100 singles... the fives were wrapped in two rubber bands and you could see one band was almost off and a few of the fives weren't even wrapped on one side... all in your driver stole $234.00 out of the $400.00 I had brought for tips at the resort... I also tipped your driver $5.00 for the ride, so I consider he stole that also... I will also be forwarding this email to Expedia and any and every review site I can find... We paid for two round trips and when it was time to get picked up to go back to the airport we were told a shuttle was not coming because we did not tell them our return information. Our return information with pickup time and date were clearly printed on the ticket they gave us. I've read around and this seems like a common occurrence for them at this airport. Its unacceptable. Poor and horrible service. Ordered SUV service and the driver left us hanging because there was a miscommunication between him and his dispatcher. The only way to do Cancun is to plan to spend the money and book a private transfer with a different company. I booked online through Super Shuttle but upon arrival was directed to a different company representative who told me to go stand in a line. Who are you sir in a different shirt and why am I getting in a van with you? (I only wish I was getting into a van with a man in a strange shirt). We were queued up for 30 minutes and actively ignored -- meanwhile like 25 Super Shuttles were just lined up and drivers were milling about. I was asked 3 times for my "paper" and harrassedly side-eyed and questioned. I didn't get a paper! Hey other guy, where's this alleged "paper"!? The icing on the cake was when after 30 minutes, the guy in the first parked van started washing it. I guess we'll wait for the car wash now. I cannot explain the disrespectful irritation-by-design the line for Super Shuttle is. They make a display of courteously whisking private riders into vans right away while you while your sad line mates are left by the side of the road. You will invest in your vacation in Cancun, don't arrive at your hotel frustrated and frazzled. DO NOT USE SUPER SHUTTLE. THEY ARE TERRIBLE PEOPLE. On our return the idiots came at the wrong time to pick us up from the hotel and left us behind, because we weren't aware they were coming. I had a TERRIBLE experience with this company at CUN airport. Their collective shuttles to Tulum cost 3 times more than the regular ADO bus but they are direct. The salesperson assured me the wait time would not be more than 20 minutes so I thought it was worth shelling out the extra money. However, after 30 minutes, I asked what was going on and was told the shuttle would not leave with one passenger. They were incapable of giving me a maximum wait time. The saleswoman, Claudia Vélez and the supervisor, Joel Itzá, kept on blaming each other for the "misunderstanding" (I call it a lie). After a long argument, they finally gave me my money back but by then I had missed the other bus. And they permanently lost a customer. It is all the more enraging that these people live from ripping off tourists and making my other countrymen (I'm Mexican) bad. Please avoid them and take the much more reliable and cheaper ADO. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. Beware. My friend and I landed at the cancun airport and we were convinced by the woman at the super shuttle booth that we could save 40% on our return trip if we paid upfront. She said we would receive a call to confirm our return trip back to the airport a day and advance--and if we dont get a call for some reason, to contact super shuttle ourselves. From there, she quoted us a 5 minute wait for our shuttle from the airport to our hotel. We were not in a car until a painful 2 hours later. Meanwhile, super shuttle employees were offering an "expedited" line for people willing to pay an extra $40 to skip ahead of others-- which seems extremely unethical. Finally we got in a van and made it to the hotel. Not surprisingly, we never received a call from super shuttle confirming our specified 1230p return trip from the hotel to the airport. In fact, none of the numbers were working at all whatsoever. I must've tried 3 or 4 different numbers at least 20 times the day before my return flight to no avail. We had to just hire a local cab to take us back to the airport and lost all the money we'd paid super shuttle for the return trip. Do. not. use. read more

Not sure if I just got lucky but I had excellent service. Of course I was skeptical of them not showing up this is why I used a credit card. I had to wait 40 minute for a shared shuttle to my accommodation (the bend of the strip) and then I was picked up on time at 5:45 am (arranged for 6). I only paid about $30 which is a great deal to me considering when I first planned my trip I was going to use uber and it would be same price. Taxi one way would be $30. read more

I've been to Cancun 7 times and used the shuttle services every time. The first time I used it was a chaotic experience but every other time I learned a few tips that made everything smooth. FIRST OFF, when you are exiting the airport, IGNORE I REPEAT IGNORE ALL THE PEOPLE (sales people) inside the airport. They don't know anything about your shuttle service and are only there to sell you timeshares. Just walk past them, say no thanks or whatever but just keep walking. ALL THE SHUTTLE SERVICES ARE OUTSIDE. When you find them make sure to confirm your departure date and time and ask them if they need a confirmation 24 hrs before your departure (phone call or email), some do some don't. If you do these simple things you will get a better experience. Don't let the language barrier confuse you, most if not all people working the tourist areas know English well enough to communicate with you. read more

This shuttle ride is awful. I bought a round trip ticket to and from hotel back to airport. My flight was 8 am. They scheduled me for 4 am pick up. When I called in to ask why the schedule pick up time is so early, they said it depends on the arrangement. I tried to change the pick up time for a later time and they said I need to upgrade to taxi ride for an extra $20 for 2 people. They picked me up at 4:15 am and drove me straight to the airport which only took 13 minutes. Now we have to wait at the airport 3.5 hours earlier. I could have slept another 2 hrs. This outfit was a nightmare from start to finish. Smug doesn't adequately describe the disgusting attitude of all staff associated at the airport. They charge extortion rates and expect you to tip their drivers as well as they apparently don't pay them enough so I'm guessing is operated by Americans. My driver decided he couldn't find my guest house so pulled up at the local 7/11 at 8pm in the dark and announced I needed to get out and pay a taxi to get me to my accommodation, not only to my horror but the four other passengers as I am a 61 year old female traveling on my own. Now awaiting some compensation but this process involves a cast of thousands to make a decision on what has been the worst experience of my 6 months of traveling abroad. We were told "he will be there in 5 minutes." 20 minutes later we had to call a cab which cost $60. I called the company and they hung up on me. My wife and I booked Super Shuttle through Expedia for our airport transportation to and from Cancun airport to our resort in Playa del Carmen and back . Our experiences on the two trips were very different. When we arrived at the airport it was very easy to find the Super Shuttle employees and they confirmed our reservation. We were told initially that we would leave in about 15 minutes. We waited with another couple for 37 minutes at the terminal before we even got into the van. We were standing at the stop with a driver ready to go but he was not given directions. Juan Carlos (P21097) was the person in charge at the airport and he continually said that we would leave shortly, was very busy helping our guests and left the area we were waiting in without letting us know. When we finally got in the van we headed to another terminal and picked up more people who had been waiting for a long time. It took us 52 minutes to leave the airport. We were in a van with 3 other couples and thus had to make 4 different stops at different resorts. Luckily we were only the second last stop making our driving time an hour and forty five minutes. In the end it was almost three hours from after we got out of the airport to our resort. On our return trip our driver Joe was on time, very friendly and very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions, spoke very good English and was a good driver. He let us know when an additional stop was added to our trip and that it wouldn't take too much extra time. We arrived at the airport happy and in plenty of time to make our flight. read more

My only complaint was how aggressive the representative was in trying to sell tours. I finally had to tell him back away and leave me alone. It kind of defeated the whole purpose of booking exclusive private shuttle. They have no clue with the availability of vans and focusing more on getting other passengers on a shared shuttle rather. STAY AWAY from SuperShuttle in Cancun Do not use this service. Right when you arrive in Cancun they will politely greet you and ask you where you're going and walk you over to the sign-up. Do not use their service, use a taxi instead. Use anything instead. They are scammers. I was stupid enough to fall for their service. For two of us they charged us $70 for the way there and they promised half off on the way back next week, which I accepted. $105 there and back for two seemed like a decent deal comparable to taxi prices. And at the time I thought this service seemed more legitimate than a taxi. The way there was just fine, didn't have to wait too long, except a little slow since they stop by many hotels. The way back was a different story. They told me to check-in a day before our departure date. Which I did, and I set up a time and everything seemed like it would go alright. The morning of the departure I just felt like being cautious (luckily I did) so I gave them a call to make sure my name was on the pick up list and everything. I called and found out it was not, and the very rude guy was saying that I cancelled the service at the same time yesterday that I actually confirmed it and got a pick up time. I told him it wasn't true and he just said, well sir right here it says you cancelled it so I can't do anything about it. After a while on the phone (a couple hours before my flight) my call finally got transferred to someone that said they actually did get my reservation but apparently there was a glitch in the system and there isn't enough space for us on the shuttles. The lady said she would refund my money. The amount she said they would refund was the amount for the trip back, or the, half-price amount, which was the only thing making the service worth the money. How convenient for them. A week later I still haven't received my refund. They didn't compensate and offer a different way to get to the airport or anything, they just said F you. I had to find a taxi, luckily I called ahead so I had time to set one up. And if I never called them then I would show up to the shuttle to realize that I'm not on the list and then scramble around to find a different way to get to the airport. read more

We booked this so called Super-Shuttle well in advance online using Expedia, received a confirmation email, then re-confirmed 24 hours before leaving from our hotel to the airport in Cancun on 30th April, 2016. Me and my wife waited in the hotel lobby as we were told to do in their e-mail. We waited and waited for next 40 or 45 minutes but no shuttle came-in to pick us up. They could have called us or send an e-mail that they are not coming instead us waiting there. Finally I talked to the bell boy about it and he called up the office of the Supershuttle and he was told that they can not come and that they will pay for the private taxi. Then our bell boy called the taxi and we went to the airport. At the airport the taxi driver took me inside the office of the Supershuttle and talked to the employee to give him the money for our ride. The employee then called his supervisor who was very busy outside with other people and it took him a while to see us and note down all the information from us. Then this supervisor said that he has to see some other people to look into this. I was getting nervous and frustrated that we will miss our flight to Washington, DC since we were already late.That supervisor never showed up after me and the taxi driver waited there and I told taxi driver that these people are giving you the run around. Finally I told taxi driver that I will pay you in cash and forget about supershuttle payment. We rushed to our departure area and saw big lines of travelers. And that was end of it. Lesson learned: Do not trust Supershuttle even with their confirmation ride e-mail. Try to avoid them in Cancun. I call, them "No-ShowShuttle". Hope this will help other travelers. read more

When I arrived in Cancun, Supershuttle had us wait for thirty minutes before a van was available, despite five vans and two cars sitting on the curb available for that whole time period. During that 30 minutes, the supershuttle agent pawned us off onto another company and had them take us without us knowing anything about that company and their insurance or quality standards. The company that they had us take used old white vans with out any of the amenities offered by supershuttle and their drivers were unfriendly and unpleasant. I paid to use supershuttle for their security, safety, cleanliness, and wifi-equipped vans. Instead they forced us to be driven by some unknown lesser company because they were not willing to drive us the thirty minute distance to our resort, despite us having reserved the shuttle for that location a month in advance. I will be calling to ask for a refund for the money I paid to supershuttle for a service they never provided. read more
