We booked this so called Super-Shuttle well in advance online using Expedia, received a confirmation email, then re-confirmed 24 hours before leaving from our hotel to the airport in Cancun on 30th April, 2016. Me and my wife waited in the hotel lobby as we were told to do in their e-mail. We waited and waited for next 40 or 45 minutes but no shuttle came-in to pick us up. They could have called us or send an e-mail that they are not coming instead us waiting there. Finally I talked to the bell boy about it and he called up the office of the Supershuttle and he was told that they can not come and that they will pay for the private taxi. Then our bell boy called the taxi and we went to the airport. At the airport the taxi driver took me inside the office of the Supershuttle and talked to the employee to give him the money for our ride. The employee then called his supervisor who was very busy outside with other people and it took him a while to see us and note down all the information from us. Then this supervisor said that he has to see some other people to look into this. I was getting nervous and frustrated that we will miss our flight to Washington, DC since we were already late.That supervisor never showed up after me and the taxi driver waited there and I told taxi driver that these people are giving you the run around. Finally I told taxi driver that I will pay you in cash and forget about supershuttle payment. We rushed to our departure area and saw big lines of travelers. And that was end of it. Lesson learned: Do not trust Supershuttle even with their confirmation ride e-mail. Try to avoid them in Cancun. I call, them "No-ShowShuttle". Hope this will help other travelers. read more

When I arrived in Cancun, Supershuttle had us wait for thirty minutes before a van was available, despite five vans and two cars sitting on the curb available for that whole time period. During that 30 minutes, the supershuttle agent pawned us off onto another company and had them take us without us knowing anything about that company and their insurance or quality standards. The company that they had us take used old white vans with out any of the amenities offered by supershuttle and their drivers were unfriendly and unpleasant. I paid to use supershuttle for their security, safety, cleanliness, and wifi-equipped vans. Instead they forced us to be driven by some unknown lesser company because they were not willing to drive us the thirty minute distance to our resort, despite us having reserved the shuttle for that location a month in advance. I will be calling to ask for a refund for the money I paid to supershuttle for a service they never provided. read more

Just got back from Cancun. I always make my reservation for transportation either w/ Expedia or Travelocity before my travel. Pricing differ so I searched for more. I happen to come across GoMexico Travel. They have the cheapest RT for shared transport from and to the Airport. I booked it. I was asked of my travel schedule both Arrival and Departure. I got my confirmation right away and link to the Voucher to print. Also, I was asked what time I would like to be picked up on departure day. On arrival, when we exited the Terminal I immediately saw my name. The Supper Shuttle attendant is waiting! On departure day the Shuttle was on time! My husband and I were really impressed w/ the Super Shuttle (Cancun) service overall. Also, their Van is super clean. Will use them and GoMexico Travel again! read more

Super Shuttle gets 1 star due to their drivers, they were friendly and knowledgeable. Otherwise I have no intention of using this service again without some guarantees. We reserved a Private service to drive us from airport to hotel and back, we paid extra for the Private service so that we would not be held up while others were dropped off at their hotels. Once I arrived at airport I made my way to the desk to obtain information on how to find our driver, the lady at the desk pointed me to another employee standing in the middle of the area who then referred me to a man standing at a podium on the other side of the room whom I assumed would take us to the location of our driver/vehicle. WAS I WRONG, the man at the podium pulls out a map and gives us details of our route, I thought great, once he had reached the location of our hotel on the map I thought ok now we go to our driver, NOPE, he kept going on about a breakfast at a hotel that was not ours, I insisted on getting to our driver because I had a long flight and I was tired, he continue to ignore me going on about the breakfast and offered a FREE tour (which of course is NOT FREE) to which my friend made inquiries (I of course was annoyed) I waited and waited till he gave her all the details of the FREE tour, I finally asked him to just give us the coupon he kept talking about and that's when he finally informed my friend that she had to leave $40 that she would get back at the breakfast. I insisted on getting to the driver so I could get to the hotel, he still kept trying to get us to agree to go to a breakfast the next day at a hotel that was not as close as he told us it would be. In spite of my protests and requests to be directed to my driver that man detained us a full 45 minutes, I lost my temper and had to tell him I was leaving and if he didn't get my driver I would have to find another way to get to where I was going, that is what it took to get directions to find the driver. It turns out you have to go outside and wait an additional 10 minutes to get the driver in spite of our reservations and the communications I sent to the service the driver was NOT waiting like other services were. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - my husband and I paid 120 CAD for a ride to and from Cancun airport, they day we were leaving the company told us we had called and changed our reservation (we didn't) and that there would be no car for us because they had already sent one at 8am. They proceeded to tell us we had called them to change our reso and that we were wrong etc. The staff were RUDE, AWFUL AND IGNORANT. We ended up having to pay an additional 90 USD for a cab to the airport. Super stressful, we were with our five month old baby, they didn't even offer us a full refund. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. read more

I had purchased a shared shuttle with them through expedia. Then I looked at the reviews and was extremely nervous because they had all negative reviews. They sent me an email 24 hours before the trip asking for all your flight info and I sent it back. My flight was delayed so I just emailed them to let them know and didn't hear back from them so I expected the worst. I got to the airport and everyone there are like vultures trying to get you a cab. I just ignored them and looked for super shuttle and found them. They have your name on the list they check you off and you wait. I had a shared shuttle and waited 15 minutes. They took us and another couple and gave us a lift. It was very easy and simple process. For our departure they informed us that 24 hours before we leave we must call them to confirm. I had the concierge at my resort contact them and they said they would be there 11:30. They arrived 11:40. Which was not bad at all and we didn't have to pick anyone up so it was easy. They helped us with our luggage and showed us where to go. I'm so glad that I had an easy time because by the looks of the reviews, others didn't. read more

We booked round-trip transfers from the airport in Cancun to Playa del Carmen on SuperShuttle Mexico (part of Yellow Transfers) through Travelocity. The ride to Playa del Carmen was fine, but we had to take a taxi back to Cancun!! Our reservation was for pick-up at our hotel at 9am for our return to the Cancun airport. At 9:15am, I called the customer service number. They acknowledged our reservation for 9am, said someone would be there in about 10 minutes (this means nothing in Mexico), and didn't seem to care that they were late and that we would be late checking in for our flight. At 9:30am they still hadn't arrived and we had no choice but to take a taxi at a cost of $60 USD in addition to what we had already paid for the original transfer. The airport in Cancun is extremely busy on a Sunday during spring break, so being that late can mean missing your flight. I will never use this service again! read more

1 star is too many for this Company. In August my family and I visited Mexico (sorry this review is late but I kept this back until I had got my refund). A great stay was totally marred by this dishonest taxi company. On arrival we booked a return taxi via Super Shuttle to our residence and paid in advance. Despite phoning and confirming on the day we had to call them when the taxi was 20 minutes late only to be told the driver was lost and they couldn't provide the service. We were advised to get a taxi from another company and to collect our refund at the Cancun airport office. We had no Mexican pesos as it was our last day and when we got to the airport they said they couldn't refund as I paid by card so instead they would refund my bank account within 10 days if I sent an email. I had to jump through hoops when I got back to get my refund which eventually I got. They are a bunch of crooks and treat you like dirt once they have your money. read more
