Today I went back to return them. He said I couldn't. I asked why not? Because I have to come back when the owner is there on Wednesday. In none of the notices plastered over the walls nor on the sales receipt did it mention that detail. I got very angry and stormed out. He told me not to raise my voice to him. Why ever not? Waste my time and my gas for nothing?! After I get my refund, and I WILL get my refund I am never setting foot in there again.

He laced them up perfectly, and explained why they were the best shoe for my situation. We were there looking for shoes for my…read moreyoungest son who is 11 years old and has shoe size that is slightly awkward because he is a bigger boy. We were able to locate shoes that fit him comfortably and even with his wide foot we were able to find shoes that he was able to say fit perfectly for him. My son is also very picky with the type of shoes he gets he does not like to get just plain shoes he likes to have some type of color to them and he was able to get a really nice looking pair of shoes that were not overly priced but looked decent as well. Overall it was a very good experience and he left happy andar wallets left happy as well because they had a buy one get one 1/2 off sale so my wife was also able to get a pair of shoes for herself. The reason for the lack of the one star was because of the fact that they only had one person on the register so the line went halfway around the store when you are going to check out there should have been more people checking people out so that we could keep the flow of people moving in that store. Thank you so much for listening.

Having driven the discount shoe store next door out of business last year, this location's prices,…read moreformerly decent, have since made the inevitable upward climb. Despite the fact the only remaining competition in the immediate area is the hopelessly poorly-stocked Target (and for work shoes, the fairly decent Mohawk Army-Navy) this location continues to drive me to other shoe stores. Their selection for kids shoes is poor. The stock in general seems to be very hit or miss; they are incapable of keeping all the sizes for a given model or style in stock, apparently, and seem to be randomly completely out of some sizes. The staff is very helpful and will help you with fitting if you ask, but tend to be occupied in the front of the house with customers at the checkout line. For adults, they have far far more selections for women than for men, and pretty much everything is now seriously overpriced. We kept checking in here for boots, good shoes, tennis shoes, etc. when we needed them because it's close but as the Mrs. has put it, if I have to get shoes that aren't really what I want I may as well pay $20 at Target instead of $50 or $60 at Famous Footwear. So, we're now giving up and not bothering any more, despite the relative convenience, because it is a huge waste of time. Better to drive 20 minutes to a place that's more likely to have what we want.

The vest ended up being too small so I called to ask about exchanging the vest and I was forwarded to the manager immediately. I had told him my situation and he told me that they were all sold out of that vest because it was a promo. I completely understood that because I have worked in retail before. What really made me mad was that he then told me that there was no way for him to pay for my return shipping which I find ridiculous. I now have to pay them for an item that I didn't want. On top of that the manager rudely told me that there was nothing more he could do and had to go on with his day and then hung up on me. That is TERRIBLE customer service. I will never be associating with this company again.
