Tear off started Jan 29, 2025 ... day one started as a disaster from using wrong materials, wrong thickness plywood on decking 15/32" not 5/8", damaging my house to the crew falling through the ceiling 8x and not reporting it to the owner. Failed multiple inspections. Failed to properly lay underlayment, metal roof, prevent leaking from day one, caused extensive damage to my house inside and outside, including many cracked trusses. Refused to repair any damages, hire an engineer per FL building code but is capable of hiring Attys to defend himself. Complaints filed with Collier County, DBPR, and claim with his insurance. If you cannot find any complaints its because they are all covered up ... its amazing how the law protects what the public should be able to find. When hiring a roofer ... do not believe the 5 star reviews, the fact you cannot find any complaints in any county or on the states website ... dig deep and do your research. Just because a roofer has been in business for a long time does not mean they are reputable or do good work. Make sure you are getting the materials that you paid for. Hire an independent inspector, do not rely on the county to do a proper inspection for you. Most counties these days DO NOT get on a ladder. Its impossible to inspect a roof properly if they do not. The ONLY reason we caught everything we did is because I had to tear out my entire ceiling and my house is now gutted. Due to the ongoing leaking issues and Roman Roofing failed to tarp my roof, anything I was trying to save must now come out per the environmental testing report. I do not know how people like this sleep at night, knowing they have taken tens of thousands of dollars to repair a roof, have added hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional damages and just walk away thinking they do not have any responsibility to fix their damages.
