The Super Roofer team gave us a great evaluation of the our existing flat roof several months back. We had gone through several vendors and estimates for the roof work. I appreciate the straight forward and honest opinion by Super Roofer. They suggested on removing a layer or two of the existing material, and performing the full maintenance on the flat roof instead of a complete tear down of the roof. The roof tear down offered by other vendors proved to be not necessary for our situation and it would be more costly. Each roof needs to be reviewed by several vendors so you get an idea of what needs to be done. The team is doing a wonderful job of removing the uneven surfaces below the first and second layers where it was needed. There were areas that were warped before, and nearly all parts of the roof are now even. I appreciate the work they have done by making the rolled material to be very straight and flat to the ground. This looks easier than what most people think and it is not easy if you don't know what you are doing. There was quite a bit of work to replace the existing vents along with fixing the side walls of the roof. They have done a great job. I would recommend them to do work for your residential and commercial roofs. read more

Konrad was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and honest. He came out to look at our roof and provided a consultation without charging us for the visit. He spent a lot of time with us too because the cause of our problem was not straightforward. We needed to do some investigating on our end to figure out the cause of the problem, turns out it was an issue with mice living in our attic and not water leakage as we originally expected. We needed to modify our siding so that animals couldn't get into the attic, and he performed the work well and for a reasonable price. I got multiple quotes to replace my roof. Konrad not only had great reviews, but was also GAF certified. His estimate was slightly higher but well worth it. I asked about skylights and Konrad was very helpful. I wanted to install solar venting skylights for the 26% rebate. He wasn't familiar with them but told me to order them and he could install. His price for installation was extremely reasonable and the skylights look gorgeous. They vent using a remote and work flawlessly. Konrad sent Pedro and his crew to do the tear off and replacement. They were professional and competent. They worked into the night to finish since rain was forecast the next day. Pedro advised me that two skylights were the wrong type and helped me order replacements, which he picked up for me. He also returned the incorrect skylights for me. They replaced the roof and installed the skylights in just one day! They came back to do the finishing touches and clean up a day later. Everything was spotless. They cleaned my yard as well as my neighbors' yards carefully. My entire experience was wonderful. None of the typical annoyances with having major work done on your house. I noticed a moderately large hole in the side of my roof (soffitt/fascia) here in Wilmette (100 year old house). We still aren't entirely sure of the source of the hole but it was likely a squirrel or opposum that we have seen scurrying around our yard. Still can't believe we didn't notice it earlier. Given we wanted to fix this immediately, I called a few roofing companies and no one called back at all. A few days later I tried 4-5 more companies and Konrad was the only one that called me back immediately to set up an appointment. I had him inspect the hole and also look at two other minor issues around my house (rotted wood trim). He personally inspected and performed a quick estimate and sent me the estimate via email the following day. He didn't try to sell me on anything else or try to convince me that my roof needing replacement (another roofer came out and did just that). The estimate was within what I expected (and wanted) and we immediately scheduled his workers to come out and begin a day or two later. They finished in one day and did a great job generally. When he invoiced us the following day, he actually came back and said that the job was easier than they thought and final invoice was lower than his estimate by over 40%. Refreshing honesty in this day and age! I did have a minor follow up question about the work and he came out personally to inspect and clarify. Job was complete. I had a couple leaks in my roof, and Konrad came over to inspect it. Konrad quickly diagnosed the issue, and proposed two quick fixes: 1) caulking one troubled area, which Konrad said I could even do myself, also suggesting a good waterproofing caulk for me, and 2) getting a storm door installed (suggesting someone else, who I could use to get it installed). The latter in particular had been causing me trouble for a couple years, and was a solution that made sense for the issues I was seeing. Konrad was also very responsive, came over quickly (the same day that I emailed him), and seemed very experienced on roof repair and masonry. Over the past couple years, I had multiple other roofing companies come over to do inspections or try to diagnose issues over the phone. Often they would quickly jump to conclusions, and suggest solutions that involved major work tearing up my deck and re-sealing my roof, i.e., work that required multiple thousands of dollars, but didnt make much sense to me to explain the issues I was seeing. I had a big job at a 1,200 sq ft house, a complete roof shingle tear down and replacement and additional gutters for the garage and dormer siding - all because the insurance company came by and told us to make repairs. I needed a roofing company to fix a leak on my in-laws 2-unit building flat roof. Konrad came out to assess the issue I was having. It seemed that the problem was much worse than just a leak. The existing flat roof was degrading. The chimney bricks were falling apart. Multiple cappings were cracked. The front bricks and limestone copings were cracked and leaning forward over the edge. Konrad gave me his professional opinion and gave me multiple options to choose from not just one. This is a family owned building and I knew that everyone will be living here for many more years so I went with the just having everything replaced. Rebuild the chimney, replaced all damaged limestone cappings, replaced the cracked clay cappings, tuck pointing. I even decided to have the black flat roof upgraded to the aluminum roof coating. Konrad highly recommended this for better heating and cooling through the seasons... Plus I noticed that most of the roofs on my block had the aluminum coating so I was definitely behind the times. When the job was completed I was more than impressed. Konrad and his team of roofers went above and beyond what they coated. This is a company that cares about their work and cares about their customers. He replaced bricks and damaged cappings that were not quoted in the estimate free of charge. His roofing team even decided to reseal around all the windows and doors of the building at no extra charge. I was super impressed. Konrad is also a great guy to have a good conversation with.
