I get my nails done here every two weeks, for more than six years running. I'm impressed by how consistently my nails have looked great all this time. I called ahead and they could take me in 1/2 hour for a pedicure, which was perfect! Helen did a great job and fixed a big toe that I had botched (after a tech at a different salon had neglected to deal with my nail that grows inward and I had tried to fix it myself--a BAD idea!). Mixed reviews on this place, and I can see why. They accommodated me last second when another salon cancelled my appointment, and despite how busy they were I was in a Pedi chair quickly. Pedicure service was great, and not incredibly overpriced like other salons in the area. When it came to my gel set, the man who STARTED my mani did an amazing job with my shape request and constantly checked in to see if I was happy. For whatever reason, they handed me over to the guy in training to do my design and french tips...which was a bold choice lol. He did a good job after all; but I think it took him over an hour of painting and removing and repainting and removing on and on til he got the hang of it. He also got a lot of cotton fibers into my nails and polish all over my hand while doing it... I was there til they were mopping up the floors while he figured out how to paint flowers. Im happy and impressed in the end, just kind of wish I didn't get the trainee to do my designs and have little purple cotton fibers dried into it LOL. read more

I was visiting VA for a wedding and needed a manicure/pedicure. This place was close to my hotel. The gel manicure that I got was pretty bad. The man who gave it to me rushed through the whole process and didn't leave my nails in the machine long enough to set. My nails weren't smooth looking and the line where the gel meets my cuticle was jagged and sloppy. I was able to easily peel off the gel a few days later. This place seems more concerned with quantity and not quality. I don't recommend them. read more

Spent the entire time holding back tears. I kept trying to say what I wanted and she didn't listen. I paid for an extra time for massage and it was horrible no pressure. she cut the 10 min I paid for. She set an alarm and paid more attention to the phone then giving the massage. Not realizing I looked at the clock also. My nails are awful. I'm having to go find someone to do them so I can leave for vacation on time. Nope. Don't do it. I got a gel manicure on a Monday. By Wednesday they were chipping. I finally called on Saturday because I did not have time to get them fixed earlier (that's why I get a gel manicure), and all I was met with was them asking me why I didn't call Wednesday. This place gives one hell of a pedicure I always get the luxury one and I always see Andy he is absolutely amazing I tend to get ingrown toenails and he is very gentle and gets them out! The foot massage he gives is very relaxing and a good amount of time I always fall asleep I feel so relaxed! I get my nails done here after having a bad experience at another salon and I don't think I'll be going anywhere else this is definitely my favorite nail salon! My nails have lasted over a month before and are always done just as I ask and if there is ever something about it I don't like (that's hardly ever) they will make it right!! They also are very kid friendly and have two small pedicure chairs for the young kids with hello kitty and a cat on the other! If your in the Culpeper area and need a nice nail spa day this is definitely the place I'd recommend!! read more

DON'T GO HERE!!! My daughter and her best friend went to get their nails done and her nails looked horrible!! She wanted coffin shaped nails and the guy who did them cut them crooked and he cut her finger with the drill. When he painted them he didn't clean them up so she had paint on her skin and one of her nails had a bubble in it. Her friend wanted gel polish on her nails and was told that they didn't have time to paint them after they put the nails on. So basically she was told she had to leave in the middle of getting her nails done because they were getting too busy. So I went in there the next day with them and told the management that it was unacceptable and that they had to fix them. read more

I had been going to magic nails but was very dissatisfied with the service there and everyone is always talking to each other in their own language. I will never return back here. I used to come to this place all the time a while ago because they were the only place who did a good job and did my nails the way I liked. Until a couple weeks ago. I made an appointment on a Saturday at 6pm to get a fill. I had to change my appointment from 5 to 6 because after work I went to see my dad who was very sick at the time. I got to my appointment at 6:05 and the girls at the front counter were rude about me being late. My normal girl, Jenny, normally doesn't take very long. Does quick and good work. I was there for almost 2 hours. She took her time filing. Painting. And everything else you could imagine. Literally was so slow that night. I paid and left and gave her a good tip like normal. It wasn't until after I left I noticed that ALL of my nails were crooked. I had to go home and refile. My nails looked so worn down and looked like she literally just threw nail polish on without filing. Was highly confused on why I was there for almost 2 hours but my nails looked like shit. They were all uneven. She made them WAY to short. I had only asked for them to be cut just a tad and she cut them half way making them too short. I understand I was 5 minutes late. But I'm paying you to do good work so that's what I expect. Never will come here and spend my money on this place again. read more

I have been coming to Super Pro for several years now. They are always efficient, nice, talented and above all, SANITARY. Even in the time of this pandemic, making an appointment and getting in is not a problem. Not sure why a previous reviewer thinks she needs to go into a novella/dramatic saga about her awful experience. If she felt that Super Pro was that dirty, what was stopping her from leaving? It's people like this who apparently have too much time on their hands, obviously need a life and/or job or some kind of hobby. If you are so knowledgeable in the art of doing nails, perhaps you should start doing your own? Ask for Nancy! Every time I don't ask for Nancy I have a horrible experience. One of the men has such a firm grip, I feel abused just getting my toes done. That sounds like I'm being a weak little girl but he grabs your feet and slams them down. He rushes through the pedicure. I come to get my toes done to relax and spoil myself, why would I want to pay for someone to rush through and ruin experience for me. I will never come again without scheduling with Nancy. They seat you without telling you it'll be 30 minute wait. One guy cut my finger and it started to bleed and he just painted over top of it and put the polish back on the shelf to use on other people. My heels are still rough when I leave. The staff is very friendly and overall as a whole do a really great job. I've been getting the shellac polish on acrylics. The top coat is starting to peel off now after barely one day (I went Wednesday evening and it's now Friday morning). The same thing happened the last time I went. Deeply disappointed! I have been a customer of this salon for many years and up until recently I would have recommended this place to anyone. My last visit was on a Tuesday afternoon and I brought a friend for pedicures. They were not busy and we were seated right away and we're serviced soon after. The staff is generally very pleasant but the last few times they all seemed to be grumpy or agitated, the over all feeling I got was uninviting. The girl I got to do my feet could have cared less it seemed, I could hardly call what she did a pedicure at all. There was little to no effort put into any part of it and the whole process took an hour which blows my mind even more, she took such a long time to do nothing. Two days later I noticed the bottoms of my feet where dry and that dead skin was beginning to peel away, my friend mentioned to me that her polish was chipping. I don't know about you but when I get my toes done I can pretty much count on the polish to withstand a week at the beach and then some. It was less than a full week before either one of us started noticing problems. I was looking forward to getting a much needed pedicure and I was deeply disappointed by the lack of care I received and I'm even more disappointed in the staff as I have been a customer for well over 10 years.
