Tried this restaurant for the first time today. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a very fine young man that led us to our table. We were there for lunch. All the food was exceptional. Sauces were very favorable. We were quite pleased with the last page of the menu. A full page of authentic Mexican food as opposed to the usual items listed on any Tex Mex menu. Excellent "hole in the wall" food. Cheap and clean. Service was quick. Staff was very friendly. I ordered the ground beef chimichanga and my husband ordered the shredded beef burrito. The menu is simple. The seating is outdoors. There were two 2-seaters and a sturdy plastic table for larger parties. It's really a take out kind of place. But my husband and I enjoyed our outdoor dining experience. I would definitely come back, and even bring the kiddos too. read more

Up until the last couple months this place has been solid. Recently, not so much. The last 3 times I've been there they've either messed up my order or completely forgotten it! And I was lied to all 3 times with "Ohh, someone else took it" or "You didn't tell us that". Also, they've raised their prices! $9 for a burrito that was $6 last year! The only thing they've got going for them is that they're the only Mexican take out around, unless you wanna drive 10 minutes to Middletown. read more

I adore this place! My favorite take out ever. We order from here weekly and not once did they disappoint. I usually get the Beef Enchiladas and they are delicious. The rice is always perfect and the refried beans are to die for. Every single person that works there is also fantastic! They are super welcoming and friendly! You get a real sense of family from the place. The only thing that I would change is that I wish they were open 24/7! I have tried most of the Mexican restaurants in the area and they are nothing compared to Jimmys! Seriously not even close. Is it a small place? Yes, but that makes it so much more charming! This place is a gem among rocks. At first I didn't like the food, the ground beef is a little salty for my taste. I took the chance and tried the taco salad, with steak on it and rice instead of tortilla. I'M IN LOVE. Easily the most slept on place in Goshen. Though it seems like a hole in the wall fast-food type place, the food is absolutely fulfilling and delicious. I would say it's the best Mexican food in the area, way better than El Bandito or Hacienda. read more

This place reminds me of the SoCal Mexican food from San Diego, it is THAT GOOD. My favorite here is the Carnitas Tacos. I had never had them before but loved them when I first had them here. Since then when I go to other Mexican restaurants I order the same thing and it never compares. I don't even know if it's on the menu anymore but they will whip it up for you. The fresh smoky hot sauce here is as good as I have had anywhere. They make a good fish taco as well. read more

Absolutely delicious, fresh, authentic Mexican food (not like haciendas in Chester which is ugh). It is not overly salty and come in generous portions. It may be a little hole in the wall but it is SUPER clean! You can tell how clean by seeing the spotless pans they use! My family LOVES this place read more

Although I think the food is good, the employees are RUDE. My first experience there, I heard staff speaking in spanish and using a very derogatory word. I let it slide thinking that perhaps they were not speaking about me, regardless, it was in very poor taste. I felt the lunch special was a good value, and went back several times. On my last visit, I order my lunch, and when it is ready I am told it was over $12.00. I was a bit suprised as I was there between the lunch special hours. When I questioned the employee, she replied very rudely that I had not asked for the lunch special. I replied back that I also had not requested the dinner portion, and at the very least if she was unsure she should have asked me. As a result, I left the food and walked out. After TWO bad experiences I am done wth this place and have been quite vocal in telling my friends and co-workers about my experience. Good customer service goes a long way in a business being successful. read more
