She didn't even put on the note that I did pay but all she put was "entregado". Pinche vieja maldosa! - The image shows a crumpled receipt from Juanita's Jewelry located inside Super Mall in Chicago, IL. The receipt contains handwritten notes about a repair, including details about a ring and liner. The store's address, phone number, and store number are visible at the top. The receipt also has sections for repair descriptions, subtotal, tax, and total, with additional handwritten notes at the bottom.

NEVER go to JUANITA'S JEWELRY! BE WARNED! There is an old lady at the counter acting nice and sweet but then she takes a repair and screws it up horribly! I am so mad at this damn place. They totally messed up my lovely set of earrings. I could have gone to another professional place to get my earrings fixed properly had they been honest and said they couldn't repair them but instead I trusted that evil witch accross from the pet shop area. I wish her nothing but the worst as they still had the nerve to charge me for the crappiest "repair" with what is obviously not even real gold. They stole a part of the piece I needed repaired and they left it looking horrible. I am SO ANGRY!!!! I HATE THAT LOCATION!!!!

This Super Mall has businesses that have separate stores and one building shared with independent vendor booths selling electronic auto parts, jewelry, cell phones, religious items, toys, and clothes. There's also herbal stores, 2 latin restaurants, a juice bar, and an income tax stand inside. This particular building has security podium and security car patrolling the mall's parking lot. Latin music blasted throughout this building. Can haggle for cheap prices on items, some places no exchanges & no refunds after purchase; Buyers beware! With these types of places, it's best to navigate through the sides and work your way through every aisle to every booth. It's kind of like a flea market with booths crammed together. Each booth is crammed like a hoarders room, I have no problem with that when I can save a lot for items, esp not about name brands.

Super Mall doesn't exactly resemble a typical "mall" like the Water Tower Place, Westfield Old Orchard, or Woodfield. Each store inside is an individual kiosk. In other words, there's no local, regional, or national stores you are familiar with. Each kiosk is rented, merchandized in whatever fashion they want, and can potentially cause someone to feel claustrophobic since a kiosk is rather tiny and cramped. Hubby has never seen a "mall" like this, yet this type of place is everywhere in Taiwan, the country I spent the first fifteen (15) years of my life at. The types of kiosks at the Super Mall are consisted of fine and fashion jewelry, electronics, western apparel, footwear, and accessories, junior clothing, vitamins, and other miscellaneous things I failed to notice while hubby and I were browsing through. There is also a Mexican eatery and a snack shop immediately to the left upon entering. Many stores appeared to be selling similar merchandize. I didn't pay a close attention to the prices on similar items at different kiosks, but I believe the owners and clerks would probably be willing to accept your bargaining or bartering if you offer them a deal or some sort. Since most kiosks cater to the local Hispanic community, it wouldn't hurt to be somewhat proficient in Spanish. Knowing Spanish or even speaking some is beneficial in the city of Chicago anyways. They do have restrooms, but utilize them at your own risk.

Oscar was the fitting room attendant and he was so pleasant and helpful. The jackets were kind of puffy and clumsy and he helped me get them to the room. I ended up with a Kenneth Cole jacket for $59.99 and a Calvin Klein quilted vest for $39.99. I even managed to find a pair of Adidas jogging shoes that fit for $49.99. Although there was a line in check out, it moved swiftly. They seemed to have all the cash registers open to accommodate the customers. My cashier, Jose, was cheerful and efficient. He did a real nice job of bagging my purchases. I have shopped or stopped (not all visits end up with purchases :) a few times each year since this store opened a few years ago. This store has always been clean and orderly at the times that I have been there. The staff members that I have encountered have always been pleasant and helpful. This store might not offer quite as much as some others, but if your timing is right you can find some pretty nice items for some pretty reasonable prices. Even when I don't find what I came in the store to find, I always feel good in this store. This store just makes me feel happy!

However, she won't completely ditch the discount stores because there are several advantages when shopping at Maxx or a similar store like this: 1) a massive selection of handbags and shoes: I prefer a brand-new handbag or an unworn pair of shoes. I've realized that half of my handbags from my past "compulsive" shopping addiction weren't functional for my city life. I would rather invest on a handbag, which would cost $100 to $150, but it will last a long time. Shopping at Maxx for handbags is easy-breezy, without being bothered by sales associates. For the shoes, I haven't brought a pair of shoes from a thrift store, yet I've purchased many pairs from Maxx and they last. 2) are you a fan of Michael Kors? If you are, I saw lots of MK merchandise in this location. 3) organic shampoo, shower gel, facial wash, and hand soap: I haven't brought a drug store brand for some time. My trick is to convert my credit card reward into Maxx gift cards, so my "reimbursements" have been used for this category. This T.J. Maxx is very close to the CTA Kedzie Orange Line station. If you're in the south-side area out and about, hit it up when you get a chance.

You'll find "The" Chicago location of this iconic toy store in a rather small storefront. This location has some of their famous lines, like cute Jellycat infant toys, and lots of plush toys, especially bears. Many of the toys here are cute, but most are rather expensive. They had a sign advertising a "50%" sale. We only saw that discount applied to a display of cute face-halfmasks of Beanie Boo characters such as Bamboo the panda, Giselle the leopard, and Coconut the monkey. They aren't NIOSH-rated PPE, so we left them. We did see some inexpensive "Charm It!" jewelry and "Mini Barbie Land" toys on the counter, so we'll make some young relatives happy :-) FAO was founded in Baltimore (!) in 1862 by "Frederick August Otto" Schwarz! Who knew? This location has been open since 2019! I never knew. We usually fly in and out of a different concourse. This shop is just a short walk south from the Central Market area where Concourses B and C branch off.

The store front has a pull-across screen where shoppers would enter/exit. On the Hudson side is a sign telling you to enter F.A.O. Schwarz from the Hudson store. As is with most of America, staffing seems to be short, so this is one way for people to be able to shop without having it solely staffed. This is a rather small feeling store with the unused register in the middle of the store. They have their iconic toy soldiers at the (unused) entrance. There were some Christmas Ornaments, Nutcrackers, Snow Globes for sale. I saw some cute plushies. There are some neat items, but I nothing that I really wanted. If you find yourself at the Chicago Midway Airport, you can check out this store. It's in Concourse A nearest Gate A5. Business Hours are 5AM to 10PM.
