Amazing produce section! They have so much vegetables, it's amazing to see! and it's reasonably priced! I came here to check this new location and bought couple items. I wanted fruits but their fruit selections aren't big. I don't think I saw blackberries. At least half the stores are dedicated to produce. The rest of the space is filled by packaged items on tall shelves. Glad to have Super King Market. The old Rite Aid that used to been there didn't have a lot of customers. I always see crowded parking lot here!

I came on Sept. 25, 2026, the morning which was the first day their doors opened! Parking is pretty much chaos in this parking lot. I found parking next to someone who parked improperly. Upon walking in, there is a security guard posted at the door. The first thing I saw inside was the vast amount of fresh produce! The interior is basically in the black & white theme, but with all the vibrant colors of the fruits & vegetables, you hardly even notice! Almost the entire left side are bins of fruits & vegetables! I have to agree with Sandy J in that the "same family of fruits and veggies we're not merchandised together". It is kind of odd! Not sure why, but it does make choosing or finding what you want a bit more difficult. They have fresh olives! I don't like olives, but none-the-less, I was surprised to see them! I also saw some of the longest fresh Okra ever! I bought some Black Grapes that were cylindrical, Tangerine Satsuma, Pear Forelle, Plums, Cara Cara Oranges, and Bananas. The prices for what I bought was really good! The right hand side of the store has shelves of goods and near the front is the alcohol section in its' own enclosed area with a security guard at the entryway. Super King Market is an international market. You can find Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Armenian, Latin American, Eastern European and Asian groceries. There's a large bread section, deli section, butcher section, and an area with nuts & dried fruits you can buy in bulk. This is a nice store with interesting offerings. I'd go back for the fruits.

SK took over the Rite Aid on Sepulveda and Hawthorne. I was very excited because I've been to the OC location and the prices were so good! Visited on their Grand Opening first day and was disappointed because I was hoping they had more Middle Eastern food, bakery, deli, and hoping they had a hot food section but they did not, and options but they were minimum and mostly like a regular market. Jon Market on Anza and 190th have better and a bigger selections.

Soft grand opening of a new grocery in my area. Located in the site of a former Rite Aid, the hours are good for the community and the first step in is impressive. Extensive produce area and the employees really take care in stacking each item for a beautiful sleek look. The deli counter was very busy. The store appears to have more middle eastern produce and products. The selection of canned and bottle items is smaller than a large chair supermarket. They have weekly specials and month long specials. There is a separate liquor area as well as bulk nuts, candy area. Ok, bye.

The good: The produce section is definitely the highlight of the store. It takes up half of the store and the veggies are stocked to the brim. A giant bag of lettuce was $3-4 and was larger than Costco's. They sold Eastern European items like buckwheat, farmer's cheese, pierogi, and more. They had middle eastern items like baklava. They had Asian items like kim chi. They had Mexican items like cactus pear and tortilla. The bad: I was hoping they'd have a bigger bakery, sweets, candy or frozen cake options. I didn't see them sell flowers. I would've loved to see tres leches, Napoleon cake or medovik. The interesting: They have weekly deals. The grocery carts are very large. The alcohol section is closed off and in the front left of the store.

First off, I want to welcome Super King to Torrance! Today was the soft opening of the store. I was excited to check it out with my friend and headed over right before 8am and there were quite a lot of people walking in already. I love the wide open space of so much fruits and vegetables. It was overwhelming, but nice. Every fruit and vegetable was displayed really nicely and fully stocked, so that also helped too. I really like the variety of types of each type of fruit and vegetables. My one feed back is some of the same family of fruits and veggies we're not merchandised together so, I didn't know you had others to choose from. I think it would make more sense to put together strategically. Examples include: eggplants (3 types! But one was in a different set), grapes were in three different areas and cucumbers were in a couple of areas. The other area that stood out was their bakery and lavash section. A lot of things to choose from. It was hard to choose! I ended up buying three types of pita breads! Only bummer is I don't know how to make the dip it would go with, so I was bummed there wast a dip section. They have a carved meats and cheese area and a "liquor" area that is in its own area, which I think is smart. I have seen teens fill a basket of liquor at Vons and literally run out with it all in the cart! So I get that. The rest of what you would want in a market is there, but I would say with less variety to choose from. In thinking back, I would say they picked the right brands vs having too much and driving confusion. So I didn't mind that. They do not have a large meat or seafood area. I don't see this as a supermarket, but a specialty market focused on a large selection of fresh produce. In a way I am glad, because I do go to Tokyo central for specialty foods and I feel like this compliments it and does not compete with it. Different consumer needs. Overall, I would go again, but I don't know that I would go regularly. I don't like shopping in multiple markets to find what I need. But, it's super nice. I think you should at least go check it out. Side note for the staff and owners: it was a little daunting to walk in this morning with so many "suits" monitoring the opening. I can understand the excitement of being there, but I think being there and greeting people with a smile would have been great to see. In addition, the security looked a little scary too. I think I saw two of them all suited up. Outside of that, I think two people said hello to us, one person giving us the cart and one person giving us the mini bag (thanks for that!). Best wishes! Note: I mainly took pictures of the space and unique product finds.

Maybe because this place is new it feels very generic like a hospital. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Many people are still being trained. Two men who looked like regular customers were working behind meat and cheese cold cut section training employees and being very helpful. I think it would be more appropriate if they were dressed in a uniform. I feel like when they will fill the store with a few more stands and add more products. It will be a little bit more inviting. The store stocks a lot of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern items. I think Latin and Middle Eastern items are stocked reasonably but other than few Asian produce items. I don't think there are a lot of Asian products in this market, but Tokyo Central is in the same plaza.

The roast beef was thick sliced and delicious. The combo was so much meat, I could've made a second sandwich out of it. The pictures of feta ain't lying, there's a great international cheese selection with many I haven't seen before. The spicy mixed pickles were delicious. Good selection of vegetables, spices, teas, and breads. I've never seen the ka'ak sesame bagels in a store in the area before, only at stalls and restaurants. I assume the guy there was the owner cause he had pictures of his face on the sale items. Maybe he's just a beloved employee. Bonus that he carries the Chinese Mandarin newspaper world journal, unexpected!

It's a small, quaint Mediterranean international market with an interesting inventory. The proprietor was very friendly, the shop has a great local vibe. Now that I've found this local gem, it will be a regular lunch stop for me when I'm in Redondo.

It's a massive two story building in Gardena with groceries and a conveyor belt sushi sit-down restaurant on the second floor. They have a large parking lot that is usually fine but can get wild on the weekends as it wraps around the building - instead of just being a huge open lot or garage. They carry many Hawaiian items, in addition to Japanese products from eats to skincare. Their grab & go sandos are pretty good - both the pork katsu sando and the egg salad sandwiches are tasty. They have a hot buffet so you can try up to 20 different items for a by the pound price. The Gindaco counter in the food section has takyoyaki (fried octopus balls) which are popular here. This is definitely one of my favorite stores, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality Asian groceries and fresh prepared foods!

By the way, the Jon's hummus is outstanding. I've had smoother, more this or that. Theirs is exceptionally well balanced for my taste. I think papa cristos just barely tasted better, no more now though. Average stuff is dairy, produce. The hot food thing to the right of the entrance was very good at one time. It closed and reopened, now the people who run it are not friendly to put it mildly. Parking very bad. The slots are just too narrow to park, open your door and get out. Forget about trying to open your door wide enough to load groceries. There's 2 or 3 spots I can manage but if they're taken, too bad, I go somewhere else. Deli counter very very bad. Previously I had asked for something cut thick and I wanted to see how thick it's being cut. She shows it to me so I can't see the edge. I walk over to the side to look, she turns it so now I walk back to where I was, she turns it again, I surrendered. Today I get my number and wait. One of them hollers next instead of a number. I know I arrived after the woman to my right so I wait. When they holler next again I hold up my number and tell him here, and what I want. A woman who arrived after me asks him how does she know when it's her turn, I say she's next after me. He proceeds to stop my request and go get what she wants. Well that's it for me. I don't care if you might decide to sell 5 cent lobsters, I'm done. Cashiers always friendly and professional, very good. I haven't seen him in a while. There was some guy pushing a dust mop. Either get out of his way or get hit with the mop. Trying to buy something locked up, major fail. I needed something like aspirin, I waited a very long time, finally gave up. If you feel adventurous they have the odd things like rabbit, lamb AND mutton, duck hot dogs, odd cheeses, sausages of all kinds from all over, odd foreign ice cream. I will continue to shop there, when I can park, for things I know are good. The deli counter is now a wall. No reason to look in that direction at all.
