There was free coffee today. Not sure if they do that all the time, but I liked the hazelnut. This was more tourism than shopping as I was far from home, but I perused the shelf-stable offerings and found an impressive selection of Mexican and Peruvian items. With my unfortunate track record with glass jars I was glad to find hot sauces in a plastic bottles, and I also scored a big container of Chicha Limena. DO NOT SHOP HERE! This place is an absolute dump. The produce is all crap and barely lasts more than a few days (assuming you can even find anything that actually looks appetizing). The meat is all of low quality and EVERYTHING is overpriced. If you try to come within 15 minutes of closing, you'll find the doors locked and employees at the registers just looking at you and laughing. No one here cares about their job or the business in the slightest and I don't think they could make it more obvious if they tried. Don't waste your time coming here, just go to the brand new Shop Rite up the road. read more

High prices, the salads are always short or bad. The staff is alright but don't expect to get help if you need it. I live two blocks away from this place but I rather drive to shop rite, they have better prices and are always well stocked. Avoid super fresh unless you like old meat at high prices. read more

I don't shop here too often because it is generally overpriced compared to competing area supermarkets like Shop Rite, and too often workers have been unhelpful or rude to me. But occasionally this store would have specific items on sale, and I'd stop by to purchase items that were priced right. But I no longer have any desire to shop at this store ever again. Why? We're at the height of a pandemic that has killed 800,000 Americans and this store still isn't having their workers be masked. Tonight, when I tried to tell the check-out gal--who was unmasked--that she should be wearing a mask if she's dealing with the public, she rudely turned her back on me, and made a point of ignoring me. I asked her: "Doesn't the store require you to be masked? At Shop Rite, all of the workers are masked all the time." Ignoring me, she stood there in her Christmas-elf hat and wished "Merry Christmas" to someone else. I tried to find the manager. I was only able to find another unmasked worker, re-stocking shelves, who told me that the manager, Juan, was upstairs and unavailable. I said it bothered me that workers were unmasked--that with the highly contagious Omricon variant of Covid-19 spreading so fast, unmasked workers were at significant risk of spreading the virus. He felt I should worry about myself and not worry about if others are masked. But if a store is acting so irresponsibly while the virus is surging, I'll shop elsewhere. read more

This is the type of place where you show up at 10 to 9 and there's a dude standing at the locked door in front telling you they're closed. Sign says nine. The internet says 9. The manager said nine. But there's a dude at the door saying they're closed. They're expensive anyway. So I'm just going to go to a real supermarket. Always empty parking lot (I wonder why) a cleaner, but equally worse place like Food Bascis. Also, the staff are rude and inattentive especially the rotund women who will ignore you and scream across the registers to another imbecile not doing their job. Also, most of the groceries are overpriced from a dollar to five dollars. If you really are desperate, head down Lincoln and turn left for the pathetic (and ugly) ShopRite in Fairlawn. Horrible customer service... Will never set foot in that store again... I was overcharged $1.50 for an item... I went back with the receipt to show them that a mistake was made... Basically I was told too bad... The manager didn't even come to the register to help me... I'm on a fixed income and to overcharge $1.50 is a lot for me... Moved into the area 3 months ago. No decent supermarket. Have been to this supermarket as it is the closest to me just to get some basics but I literally had to just walk out this very moment as I went to get a pack of bacon which usually I don't get there as the bacon is ALWAYS ALWAYS overpriced But it getting late I'm tired so decided fine just get from there the bacon in the freezer was as brown as if had been cooked already. On my way out passed through the meat section packages of meat just brown. My god how callous can you be to not care that something like that can cause a health problem. Health department should be notified. For the prices they charge it is ridiculous. That is unacceptable and very scary. read more

I miss the Food Basics store that was replaced by Super Fresh. I gave them 1 star because this store is much nicer than the Food Basics it replaced (they did a complete renovation and expanded it) and because they have the absolute best fresh squeezed orange juice. But, overall, I do not shop here except for an item here and there (closest store to me) because the prices are high, items are often expired or close to it, and except for one employee, the rest ate surly and rude when checking out. Although it's the grocery store closest to me, there are plenty more a few miles away and even if there weren't, I would drive as far as I needed to go instead of shopping here. read more

Going to keep it short. It's convenient close to home. There produce is very fresh and clean. The reason I'm giving it a 1 Star is because of the customer service. Employees are miserable and super rude. I just don't get how people can treat people the way these employees treat customers. Businesses like this don't grow. I will never shop here again . They forgot to throw out their old fliers and I took one and got to the counter and they did not honor it . I saw the manager trying to be sneaky and send over an employee to get rid of the old flyers . The prices are to high to be in the area it's in . I never see anyone buying more then a few items. I just now created a yelp account solely to leave this review and share my horrible experience here !!!!!warning do not shop at this garbage store, the cashier girl was rude.l, handled the items very poorly. the manager was very rude and very mean. accusing us of stealing and trying to call the cops, we were at the store for 2 hours shopping we ended up getting more items than what we actually needed our bill came out to 150$, we paid them in cash. so we decided to just simply sort through the items again what we didn't need we would return them, 17 items returned for 63$ we did not leave the parking lot, we came back inside with the items we didnt want, showed the cashier girl the receipt. the manager comes out, He says and i quote, "We do not have cameras in the building, you have the receipt so you must've stole it." the whole time we're trying to explain how receipts work, and all he is yelling is "go f*ck yourself" "you trying to f*ck me" " you stealing from me, im gonna call the cops" he was trying to fight me as well, we were about to throw hands what kind of fucking sense does that make? how dare a piece of trash manager accuse us of stealing , never coming to this place again read more

Be warned: SuperFresh (Key Foods) tried to charge me tax on cream cheese this morning. The check out person kept pointing to the computer screen and saying, "It says tax." The manager sat on his butt and shouted across the store to just enter it manually. The woman behind me in line, who was buying butter was surprised. They didn't fix the computers so the error is still in there. Wonder what else they're doing this with? Watch the computer during checkout and review your receipt carefully. read more

The best experience I had here was getting to leave. The prices are a bit higher than a stop and shop or a shoprite. It's a smaller chain so that's fine. The produce is really fresh and that's a plus but nothing special. The liquor store has a small selection and it's not even worth it to go there since it's over priced. The employees are rude and don't engage you at all. I was waiting on line to check out and the cashier just... left. She decided to just walk away while me and 2 other people waited to be checked out. Then the "manager" (have no clue who or what he was) yelled "THE LINE IS CLOSED GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!" Alright thanks pal. There's nothing really special about this store. You can get the same fresh produce at a farmers market. i mostly disagree with all the previous negative reviews. ive been coming here before and after the reno. the staff are not rude they are rather simple actually. business looses 1 star bc the food are expiring and they have on sale prices that are not in the system so i feel like im doing hw when im at the check out. i primarily come for their fresh veggies. wary of the meats but bought their chicken and it was just fine. i also get their portugese rolls, not the best ive had (go to newark) but in the area its decent. i go to shoprite for the main stuff. read more

Deserves a 1 star because I can find some basic needed products there and is close to home. Pretty decent produce area that is usually fresh. I always like to go there for their lettuce. However, I will agree with other reviewer to watch your receipt/purchase carefully. This supermarket is very tricky with labeling "sales" and have gotten me many times with their tricky advertisement. It is also run by many rude/immature high schoolers. Oh, and first time in all my years going to a supermarket that I buy cheese (sliced Sargento) and notice that is moldy when I opened it at home! I drove right back and returned it but it surprised me that manager wasn't a bit surprised or disturbed. He didn't even let me finish explaining why I was returning it. It seemed extremely casual to him that I was returning moldy cheese. Not sure if this is that common in supermarkets but it just raised a red flag. read more

Impressive makeover of the place and very clean. I like the display of fresh fruits (and cuts) and vegetables as well as the hot croissants. It would be nice if you also have freshly made Sushis, vegetable salad, and arranged flower stands. Keep up the good work! read more
