Your tenth visit will be free, and we all love free stuff! They sell flashy crystal jewelry. Their henna tattoos are $10. If you have sensitive skin, tell them to hold on the lotion post threading. Threading is so much better than waxing, especially for my sensitive skin. So when I saw this little kiosk in University Mall I had to check it out. The owner Neeti is very friendly and easy to talk to. She got the natural shape of my brows down. Next time I requested a bit of an arch and was very satisfied once again. Then I discovered this little Davis spot, and it not only meets my threading needs, but is my favorite of the Sac area places I've tried! PERFECTION: These gals always shape my eyebrows perfectly. They trim them too (I love that I don't even have to ask for them to do that). After they work their magic, they have you check your freshly-threaded brows to make sure you're happy. AFFORDABLE: It's $10 for eyebrow threading and they offer a frequent buyer card. If you buy 7, you will get the 8th free. Love that little bonus! CONVENIENT: Easy to find with plenty of parking (not downtown where parking can be a nightmare). I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes so I think it's safe to say that no appointment is needed. I would definitely rate this place a 5 star if it was just the owner working, but now that she hired a few other workers - the quality went down a bit. The owner is speedy, professional, sweet, and gets your eyebrows done perfectly every time. If you don't get the owner, I can't guarantee that it'll turn out how you wanted. Sometimes my eyebrows are threaded too thin, or left too thick, or just looks plain weird. Not very consistent. I've been here a few times since my first year at Davis. They're usually super quick and efficient, but they don't really seem like they listen too well to requests, I always end up with a much sharper arch than I'd like. Today though, I booked an appointment for an 11:15AM brow threading. I got there and waited 15 minutes in store since she was working on someone else, then I asked the lady threading about the appointment, she proceeded to go on to the next customer and told me to wait another 15 minutes. So an 11:15 appointment turned into an 11:45. I just left in the end.. I couldn't wait, too much time to waste just for my brows. Today was pretty much my worst experience there. Could be worse, still pretty quick and alright. Just not the best customer service anymore, but customer service is super important to me. Plus, if you want your eyebrows done an exact way, go somewhere else, because this place won't do it. Gonna try to find another place in Davis area to do my brows from here on out. read more

I've been to MANY eyebrow threading places and was scared to look for one in Davis. NEETI DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! In fact, I can definitely say that she's the best I've ever had. She's fast, cheap, and shaped my brows perfectly! Others I've been to can't give me a nice brow arch, but I'm extremely happy with mine and I didn't even need to go home to pluck out extra hairs. I've been here at least 20+ times now, it's fantastic that they have a stamp card system (free threading after every 10). I switched over to threading after my one and only waxing experience went horrifically wrong. In my opinion, threading hurts a lot less than waxing and it's so much more precise and they can thin out your eyebrows. I dunno if waxing can do that. Before coming to Ez Eyebrow, I had really bushy eyebrows, and not only did they shape them making them more womanly, but they also thinned it. I've had eyebrow sessions from all three of their workers and they've all done pretty well. I personally like the main owner lady the best, I just always feel like my eyebrows turn out best with her and is less red/hurts a little less. They also do lips, face, cheeks - and even eyebrows for men!! I've had two guy friends get their eyebrows threaded here and they really like it. It makes their eyebrows look a lot cleaner and still manly of course haha. Eyebrows are $10 and they also do henna as well if you're interested. The other reviews are right. The lady takes 2 mins and gets it right....somehow. I took my caterpillars in there and came out beautiful. My hair grows ridiculously fast, but she managed to get the follicles so they aren't coming back remotely as fast as other places. She could work on her customer service skills, but as long as the job gets done and she isn't completely intolerable it's all fine. I walked into the new permanent storefront and had never been there before, i stood there for a while with only another girl that had just finished up and waited for her to give me directions which consisted of motioning me to the chair. She proceeded not to talk to me or ask what i wanted, but to just start. 2 seconds later the phone rings, and continuing her same conversational mode, left to answer it without a word. She came back without a word as well. Then paying i asked for a stamp card after the transaction was closed, she exclaimed "oh you don't have one?!" As if she thought she had stamped one for me or something mere seconds ago. I'll still come here because she does a good job. read more

I love seeing ladies in Forever 21 or Ohana with a reddened brow area. It's a particular type of camaraderie when you know what exactly each other did. Some people complain about EZ Eyebrow, but I absolutely love it. For once, employees do not hassle you with conversation. This place provides the paragon of a succinct visit, although less with this newer location with more privacy. I have gotten my brows, upper lip, and entire face done here, and I've been pleased with the results with all visits. The ladies ask for my preference for eyebrows, which is usually "not super thin," and they work with the natural shape. The entire face is somewhat of a good deal, but they've skimped out on the upper lip area (coughthehairiestareaformecough). Warning to the weak, they get your sideburns too. The place is conveniently in the plaza across from UC Davis with hours that will work with your school schedule if you're a student. Got a 30 minute break, and need shaped brows? You have the place. I just got my eyebrows done at this place and instantly regret it. I cannot believe this place. The lady that did my eyebrows was new so she basically picked on my skin and now I have a red face with scratches. The owner or manager whoever was walking around watching her. She could have easily done it herself knowing how bad hr employee was. She does grab the thread at one point and you can tell the difference of her smooth she does and how harsh the new employee is on my skin. I've gotten my eyebrow done in several other places before this and either they were not even or messy, but every time I walk out of this place, my eyebrows look great. I've recommended this place to several of my friends and they love it too. This beautician is also really good at henna drawing. Great service and very fast threading

Quick, painless, and affordable! I don't know why I don't thread my eyebrows more often...I'd much rather endure this and pay $10 than to pluck them myself risking ugly eyebrows (due to my unprofessionalism in this area) and pain. I haven't dedicated much time to my eyebrows *cleanly* for over 5 months. Oh yes, I'm ashamed, but I wanted to share this information 'cause even though I was a bushy mess, Ez Eyebrow only took 5 minutes to clean them up! I was very satisfied with the length, thickness, and shape. However, I feel my right eyebrow could've been even better (so -1), but then again my right has always looked a little funky. Best eyebrow threading in Davis!!! These ladies are super sweet and very good at their job. The threading doesn't hurt that much and you can tell they have experience doing it. I like this place! I've honestly never had any thing done at a booth before (which is how this Ez Eyebrow is laid out), and I was kind of skeptical about how good a job they would do. I had only threaded my eyebrows once before at Arden Fair Mall in Sac, but it was too far for me to go to when my eyebrows seriously started to look like messy fuzzy caterpillars. Went there, got it done and was completely pleased with it :] Apparently, for students, you can get your upper lip and eyebrows done for only several dollars more. So that's what I did the second time I went there! :D Definitely super convenient! Only downside is I guess for me, it's kind of awkward sitting there and having people walk past and stare! I gave this place a try and got my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. The staff were nice and friendly but unfortunately the service was not good. I was disappointed with the service both times I stopped by because, twice, I asked to keep my eyebrows thick and to simply get a clean but instead my eyebrows were completely different shapes and thinned out. She has a brand new store front!!! Its very clean, well-lit and spacious. As a result, there is also additional seating for those waiting. They still do an amazing job on my eyebrows except now it comes in a nice new store front. There were also two people there threading the last time I went so it was highly unlikely that you would have to wait to be taken. Not sure if this was just a fluke or its a normal occurrence from now on but it was nice being able to just walk in and be seen right away. I still highly recommend this place. I love it here! I've been going for about 2 years and it took me that long to fill up a stamp card (10 threadings) because they do such a nice job that it's super easy for me to maintain my own eyebrows in between appointments. I've almost never encountered a line and even when I have it's never a long wait at all. I honestly am always so impressed and for $11 it really can't be beat! It takes next to no time at all, I LOVE that they offer a stamp card, and my eyebrows always look amazing when I leave. I don't even know how many times I've been here. I've been a customer of Ez Eyebrows from when it was just a little kiosk in the university mall; now it's all grown up with it's own permanent store. The ladies here are sweet; skilled; and efficient. I am terrible at shaping my eyebrows and always feel so much better (and well groomed) after leaving. Occasionally they'll miss a few hairs here and there, but I always pluck those and clean them up a bit when I get back home. What I'm really going here for is the shaping. It's only ten bucks for goodness sake! I've paid for $40 + for services at other places with less impressive results. If you've never gotten your eyebrows threaded before, the process might be unusual to you. I personally don't think it's any more painful than waxing, but there are a few times where a plucked hair or two will make your eyes water. Suck it up for beauty ladies. The whole process takes less than five minutes. The store sells some glitzy jewelry here as well. I haven't purchased any of them yet, but saw a few pieces that I think I might be interested in for some special occasions coming up. Make sure to get a frequent buyer's card.
