I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience. My eyebrows look terrible. Having recently moved back to the Davis area, I was searching for a new place to get my eyebrows done and decided to try Super Eyebrow. The woman who helped me was very kind and friendly, which makes it hard to leave a negative review, but I feel it's necessary. She threaded my eyebrows in less than 30 seconds per brow--far too quickly for the precision this service requires. When I looked in the mirror, I was shocked. My eyebrows were drastically over-thinned and noticeably uneven, with the right brow much thinner than the left. I was PANICKING! I wish I could give them the benefit of the doubt and say they tried their best, but the rushed job made it clear that they weren't being careful. I strongly do not recommend this place and will not be returning. I'm giving two stars solely because of the staff's friendliness, but the quality of service is a firm one-star. read more

I had also mentioned that my wedding is coming up and that I wanted my eyebrows to be as thick as possible. I went to get my eyebrows done after growing them out for a thicker shape, not only did the lady thin them out more than usual. She cut the front end of my eyebrow shorter than the rest making it uneven. She gave me a bald spot bc she cut one too many hairs. When I mentioned to her the front was shorter she just kept brushing my eyebrow up like if the hair was gonna get longer and even out. Really bad service did not apologize at all read more

I used to come here consistently when they were located at the University Mall and loved it! Since the move, the service doesn't seem as great as it used to be. Threading has never hurt me much before, but this time was extremely painful and my skin was bleeding! I have to ask for no lotion because the previous time I came I got a huge pimple in between my eyebrows after my service. The price has also increased. i usually get my face threaded (forehead cheeks upper lip chin neck) and they're always efficient and thorough, checking if you're satisfied with the results ....but this week i tried getting my brows cleaned up here again (after years) and they threaded off waaaay too much. i have thick brows and said i liked them overgrown, i didn't want them shaped or anything, just the scraggly hairs not attached to my brows threaded out. now they're much thinner and the arch of my eyebrow's gone. i'll def return for my usual services but i don't recommend them for anyone particular about their brow shape or with thick brows !!! read more

This place used to be a hit or miss when I came here a couple years ago. Recently however I have never been disappointed with the service and now I'm a regular here. Def one of the best places for eyebrows in Davis. The only note I have is that sometimes I've ended up waiting 15-20 mins because there's only one person working so it feels as if they are a little understaffed - so I would call in to make an appt first if you do not want to end up waiting. I've had my eyebrow done by them once when they were at the University Mall. This time, I am not sure if it was because they were in a rush or something but the service was not great :( It was extremely quick compared to the person in front of me and my last time. It felt like there was no care. There were hairs left on my eyebrow and I didn't want to ask since they were in a rush. It was also a little painful -- I have high pain tolerance and threading never hurts for me. They also raised the price from $10 to $14. I'm not sure if this place is under new ownership or staff or something, but the last few times I've been, I have hated the experience. They do a quick job but often leave lots of stray hairs. I have had thick, nicely shaped eyebrows my whole life, and every time I get them done I ask for the same thing - cleaning up the brows and a little shaping along the arch. The last two times I've been, the woman has threaded my eyebrows SO thin and then convinced me that is what I had asked for. Been coming here for the past 3 years. I usually come to get my eyebrows and upper lip done. The total comes out to be $17 before tip ($11 for eyebrows, $6 for upper lip). They also have a stamp card so after 10 eyebrow threadings, you get one free! Although this place is fast and I like the overall end result, there are a few things that have caused me to lower my rating. First, there seems to only be one lady working at a time when there is space for three people to get their services done at a time. If you happen to come here during a busier time in the afternoon, you could end up having to wait around 10-15 minutes. I know there used to be more ladies working there but they seemed to all have disappeared? Definitely plan to come in the morning when it's less busy, or just make sure you don't have anywhere to be any time soon in case there is a wait. Also, there have been a few times where I've left with a couple cuts on my upper lip and around my eyebrows. Now I'm not a threading expert so I can't say for sure whether this is common or not, but the cuts show me that the lady was being a little too aggressive and overall it's not a cute look! Lastly, every time I've left here I've had to double check in the mirror in my car that I've wiped away all the hair that was threaded out! I don't think this should be up to me to do. They should be able to wipe away every last hair at the end before they put on the lotion. A little annoying especially if you have somewhere to be afterwards; I never know if I got everything off or not! I'll continue to come back because I think the price is right and they do an overall good job, but there are definitely some things that could be improved upon! read more

Got my eyebrows done here for 3 years, they always did decent work. Today, I went and some lady messed my face up. I get my eyebrows done once a month, which means that they always have some sort of definition, and I always only ask for a cleanup. Same shape, same thickness, same everything. She does her thing, rushes, and my eyebrows ended up super uneven and much thinner than they were before. I asked her to even out the tip of one, because one was straight and the other was curved, and I don't know if she didn't understand me or if she doesn't know how to shape eyebrows but either way I had to do it myself. I'm going to a place closer to me and taking my chances there. Won't be coming back, and recommending somewhere else to whoever asks me. The ONLY reason I'm giving more than one star is because whoever did my eyebrows before did a reliable and decent job. The new girl who works there will manhandle your head, leave your skin stinging, and you'll end up with super uneven eyebrows. read more

I walked in when there weren't any customers; I sat in the chair, she threaded my brows in less than 5 minutes (I didn't time it, but it felt like I was there for only 2 minutes), paid, and I was on my way out. Pros: Quick, affordable, convenient location for me since I'm a student at UC Davis, and she followed my natural brow shape. Cons: Although it was quick and she did a great job with the thread, my face was covered with the threaded eyebrows. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded before and have never left with loose hair on my face before. I'm not a threading expert, but the thread used felt a little harsh on my skin compared to places I've been to in the past. I came here after YEARS of not getting my eyebrows done because I wanted to grow them out (although I'm still having difficulty doing so). I decided they finally needed to get a clean up & was back in town & decided after weeks of where to go to have it taken care of I picked this place. The lady who works there is very nice. Prices are average. However after I came, there were more girls coming in. I thought it was odd that there was only one employee but then I remembered that it was slow before I came so maybe one employee is necessary.
