Went for a pedicure without an appointment and they took me right away. The gal I got didn't speak English well but she made sure to ask others so I got exactly what I wanted and I relaxed appreciated that a lot. She gave the best pedicure EVER! I'm late posting this review, but I feel it's important to share my experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this salon. A couple of months ago, I went in for a pedicure, which was performed by a male technician. As a retired cosmetologist, I was deeply disappointed by their lack of proper sanitation practices. The technician took implements out of a drawer, used them on me, and then placed them back in the same drawer without sterilizing them. At other spas and salons I've visited, tools are stored in sterile packs and opened in front of each client to ensure cleanliness. What concerned me even more was that after finishing my pedicure, I saw the same technician working on another client, once again removing implements from the same drawer and using them without sanitizing. This lack of proper hygiene is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about client safety. I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience. read more

Since the pandemic started I haven't had my normal monthly pedicure and had to *gasp* do my OWN nails. Luckily I was able to snap up a Sunday appt at this busy salon to finally get a little pampering in. I made the appt through Yelp App so that was convenient, they weren't technically even open yet when they responded to my request. Great service! I got their deluxe pedicure ($50) and didn't want gel on my toes- they had a pretty large selection of polish colors. I got basic white to finish off the summer now that I'm a little tan. My lady was so nice and we spoke about our families but she also didn't pressure me to talk and just let me relax as well. I love that! They were quite busy on that Sunday I was there- thank goodness I was able to make an appt ahead of time. The massage chair was soooo nice and everything was so clean. They do all typical mani, pedi, acrylic services but they also have an esti room for facials and waxing. If you live in Woodland, make sure you make an appt but definitely try this place out. read more

I was a walk in and the manager took me right away. That was the only good thing about my pedi experience. He cut my toes too short (one of them bled) and too deeply into the corners - ingrown big toe nails since - after I had said "Leave them long". He massaged my legs down, not up, after up-selling me for more massage time. He used gloppy polish that needed to be thinned. The polish did not dry properly and smeared. Later, it chipped off, taking layers of my toe nails with it that will take weeks to grow out. The whole time I was there, the staff were chatting among themselves in some language other than English - rude. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

I came in yesterday and got a royal pedicure ( the pedicure service was great ) with acrylic on my toes love the outcome of how they look I just hate the fact most of my toes got cut while she file them.... My new go-to spot for my gel manicures! Affordable ($30 for a regular gel), great service, and very attentive to detail and ensuring a quality yet efficient manicure experience. It's usually pretty easy to get an appointment in the day of and I've never had to wait for an appointment to open up more than an hour after I first call. As soon as I walk in, I'm greeted and usually seated within 10 minutes. I got a new administrative job in a hospital and my mom wanted to take me to get my nails done as a treat. She decided to get acrylics for the first time just for fun. I called around 2pm on Saturday may 21st for an appointment at 5:15, and they were super accommodating taking our appointment. We walked in for our appointment and were greeted very warmly. We were immediately seated together, my mom with Jenny and myself with Julie. Jenny was SUPER patient and kind as my mom threw a bunch of questions her way (she'd never had acrylics), and really made my mom feel special. I knew exactly what I wanted and showed Julie the photo I brought as a reference, she started working on me and I was able to just sit back and relax because it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing. I'm extremely picky, especially about the shape, and she was very responsive when I felt that one nail was just *barely* less pointy than the rest. No one else probably would have noticed because it was such a small difference, but she was happy to make the small correction and I was THRILLED with the way my nails came out. They're even better than what I imagined. My mom paid with cash but then as we were walking out she suddenly realized she was supposed to put the charge onto her card, and they were very kind about giving her the cash back and charging her card instead. We still tipped in cash. The atmosphere in the salon was so relaxed and welcoming, the results were everything my mom and I wanted, and we will absolutely be returning as regular clients. Thank you guys so much, especially for treating my mom so well, she really needed to feel pretty again and you guys gave that to her. I've come here many times and always been very happy with my nails. Jenny and T always do a beautiful job! I usually get dip powder and my nails always get compliments and last for over 4 weeks. The only complaint here is the wait time for both walk-ins and appointments. I've done both and waited 20-30 min before being seen before. I suggest just walking in because making an appointment doesn't seem to help much. read more

The overall atmosphere when you walk in is not at all friendly or welcoming. The specific gentleman who did my daughter's pedicure was friendly and made my daughter feel more comfortable. I was extremely frustrated because my middle school age daughter and her friend went there to get pedicures together to get ready for a school dance, and they were placed at opposite ends of the room so they could not speak to each other or even see each other really, despite the fact that the stations on either side of her friend were open. I pointed out that they were together but was ignored. They then proceeded to put the next two people who walked through the door in those seats. So the girls had to sit in silence next to strangers which completely defeated the plan to get pedicures together. read more

It was imperative to the image I hold to myself, that my nails be done yesterday morning, asap. My regular nail tech was unavailable. Fortunately, I was in route and saw the Pro-File Nail sign and swung in, literally. In moments, I was having the service I wanted and the color I was imagining. I'm aware that "walk-ins," are shared amongst the techs that may or may not have appointments or a steady clientele. After all, it's only fair. I was lucky, I got Lily. She was gentle and very attentive to my needs. Long nail bed, deep nail folds with a deep curve naturally. I know, Princess Problems, but it takes a certain skill set to recognized this nail type. Over filing can weaken my nail plate at the lateral nail fold, to the point of pain. Making them grow out awkwardly and flip upwards. No offense to you "ski slope," type nails that point upward. Lily did not over file 8 out of 10 of my nails. That's amazing for someone who just met me. Usually that kind of familiarity takes a couple of visits. Good job Lily! And thank you. The salon is a popular spot with the "regulars," and the conversations are inclusive and lively. Cory is a hoot! Happy Birthday Amigo! Many happy returns this Sunday at your party! Cory serenades with a beautiful singing voice in Spanish, a must see and hear. Truly lovely and talented. I will be back. Going to try Jenny and "Kee" next.
