Typically when you go to a salon, you request a specific person because you only like how one person does it. I have never done that here. I always feel like no matter who does my nails, they always do a great job. I will say, i do oftentimes prefer Tina, because she does amazing work & is super sweet. she also knows how to make great conversation and can sense when i am not feeling super talkative as well. The salon itself is very clean and calming. The staff maintains the salon well and they even bring you a snack and a drink when doing your nails. The pricing is very reasonable as well. I have gotten a mani pedi for $130 and a full acrylic set from $70 - $120 (depending on length and style) sometimes i get a simple medium length chrome french tip ($70) or sometimes i get long nails with a different design on each nail ($120). they are very talented and do an amazing job regardless. I don't see myself going anywhere else other than here. I can safely say i've found my favorite salon!

I've been here four times every two weeks for gel nails with Lilly. So it's about time for a…read morereview! The first time they fit me in late on a Friday night after I called in the afternoon to see if they had availability that day. It was my first time getting gel nails and Lilly did a fantastic job! I made appointments for every visit after that. The first one I phoned to make the appointment and was assured it was with Lilly for St. Patrick's Day. When I arrived no one expected me. Luckily Lilly had an opening in a half hour so they put me in a massage chair while I waited. My nails turned out excellent again. My third visit, Lilly double-booked me and had Mai remove my gel polish while she finished another client. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with this, but she used the drill to expose the top layer before wrapping in acetone and it dug into my natural nails in a couple spots. Not ideal! Then when Lilly attended to my manicure she seemed rushed and went too short on my right hand. I think she noticed the look on my face when she started using the clippers, and was more careful with the length on my left hand. In the end it wasn't a big deal since my nails grow fast and I chalked it to needing to communicate better in the future. My fourth visit was great. My appointment time was honored solely for me and Lilly provided an excellent gel manicure. This time instead of picking a color from the piles of gel options they have, I showed a picture of what I wanted with a glitter ombré and she executed it perfectly. I'm thrilled with how it turned out. Overall my experience with Lilly has been great and I will continue to go here. Everyone has been friendly and the salon is very clean. Prices are reasonable. Instruments always come out of clean sterilization pouches before use. They keep the atmosphere relaxing and quiet with very little chatter. Just what's necessary to communicate a customer's requests/expectations. For the most part my gel manicures have lasted a week before chipping/lifting. I'm pretty sure I'm hard on my nails between swimming, frequent sanitizing and gardening, so I'm not sure I'd get a better result elsewhere. I think the products they use are good (DND, OPI are the ones I remember). I haven't gotten a pedicure here yet, but after watching their work on other customers, I wouldn't hesitate to do so in the future. I've posted photos of all the gel manis I've gotten so far on the first day they were done.

Two Words: Chocolate Pedicure…read more I no longer live just around the corner from Woodland Nails, but found myself over there after work this past week, and stopped in for a pedicure and manicure. Something that impressed me immensely was that they remembered me (and I'm someone who maybe gets their nails done every couple of months or so). I knew I wanted one of their "premium" pedicures (for $35, you get extra scrubs and masques, and you can choose your theme), and when I saw one of the "flavors" was chocolate? Oh, I was all over that. There was something so decadent about sitting there getting a chocolate pedicure on a Wednesday afternoon/evening...and I can't wait to do it again. The massage was excellent and their chairs are very comfortable. And I decided to have fun with my nails and treat myself to a gel manicure (with sparkly red nails, thank you very much). So, while I'll probably never be the type of woman who has a weekly appointment to get my nails done, I'll return to Woodland Nails. And not only that, but I've referred a bunch of people to them with peace of mind that the service will be good.

I live in woodland and have tired many nail/pedicure places. Since they opened I have went to them. I had heard that they are super customer service oriented and make you feel very welcome. I asked for their base (basic) pedicure with regular polish. The tech wasn't happy with the request. She did try to sell the gel polish but I have my reasons for not wanting gel. Nail trim - okay Cuticle care (push back)- barely did it Cuticle care (trim) - rough, clipped my right toe but no blood Rinse off of scrub- missed the back of my calves and I rinsed my calves off myself. Massage - didn't care for it.. similar to rubbing in your own lotion... less than 2 minutes total..wiped off the lotion and oil that didn't absorb with hot towel.

Today I realized my big toe was hurting a lot and looking at it, it's very red and swollen on the inside of my left toe. Really upset that it is likely infected. Will not be going back.
