I have been going here for a year, ever since a coworker recommended it. I have had my nails done by several nail techs here and i have loved my nails every time. Typically when you go to a salon, you request a specific person because you only like how one person does it. I have never done that here. I always feel like no matter who does my nails, they always do a great job. I will say, i do oftentimes prefer Tina, because she does amazing work & is super sweet. she also knows how to make great conversation and can sense when i am not feeling super talkative as well. The salon itself is very clean and calming. The staff maintains the salon well and they even bring you a snack and a drink when doing your nails. The pricing is very reasonable as well. I have gotten a mani pedi for $130 and a full acrylic set from $70 - $120 (depending on length and style) sometimes i get a simple medium length chrome french tip ($70) or sometimes i get long nails with a different design on each nail ($120). they are very talented and do an amazing job regardless. I don't see myself going anywhere else other than here. I can safely say i've found my favorite salon! read more

Called in advance and schedule appt with Amy for my first seashell and gold acrylics and pedicure was a gel milky white. A few hours before my vacation and I wanted something different and out of my comfort zone & Amy did an amazing job. She checked with me on everything to make sure it's was as the pic I had as a reference. She mention it was her first time doing this set and was excited for the challenge. My mom and I were walk-in's in on a Monday in the early afternoon and were instantly greeted and seated for acrylic fills. It was our first visit to nail tech spa and we couldn't have been more pleased! Staff were friendly and offered us drinks and snacks right away. My mom had her nails done by Kevin while I had Leon. They both exceeded our expectations. They took our two week old acrylic nail sets (done at a different salon in Sac) and made them look brand new and 1000 times better than the original. Two weeks ago-my husband convinced me to try Nails Tech after he had what he called "the most amazing pedicure since our Disney cruise". I had been driving to Vacaville from Woodland for my nails every two weeks & he knew I was due. I'm VERY, VERY, VERY picky so VV isn't unreasonable and my gal is/was worth the drive. He is just as picky as I am so I thought I'd give Nails Tech a try. Anyway- the next morning -around 10am, I called Nails Tech and they had availability within my window of noon and 2pm. I found the salon to be clean, even the bathroom- usually my first stop. I signed in and was seated immediately and met Tina- who brought me a beverage and a snack bar -a bonus.She & I talked a bit about what I was looking for, she made a couple suggestions after seeing my nails, (I primarily get acrylic powder, french with either clear or pink gel on the nail bed. I wasn't immediately sold on her suggestion but agreed to "test it out" when we got to that step. I'm happy to say that I am VERY pleased with the final results-and yes I took her suggestion of a pleasant solid pink gel base that looks like my nail but doesn't show any lines or natural discolorations. My fingers weren't burned during the sanding/buffing/filing as has happened in the past. Even with the electric router/file that takes the old product off and files out the underside of the nail! And there was very little nipping of the cuticles-which always ends up sore for days afterwards. Tina is very sweet and though I'm not much of a talker we got along great. It's now time for a go-back but I feel I can go a couple extra days-(I don't go on weekends) I did have a nail break today as a result of having inadvertently jamming my hand into a cabinet door. Tina told me if I had any problems or breaks just to stop by and they would get me right in which they did. I got to meet her mother- Helen, -who could easily pass for Tina's sister and she too did a fantastic no pain repair of my nail at no charge -which I have found to be customary. Back to my husband -he booked 3 pedicures for "girls day" while his sister and her friend were visiting from Florida for this past Tuesday at 1pm. The three of us all agreed they were fantastic. Two of us had the #5 w gel add on and the other had the #4 with regular polish. My sister in law had a toenail missing due to a previous injury which was very sore and her tech took very good care of it making sure she did not experience any discomfort (it wasn't open or raw skin or anything like that) in the end, she walked out with 10 painted toes and we were 3 refreshed & rejuvenated happy ladies that heading to Main Street for some shopping! I'm looking forward to next week for my nails and November for my next pedicure! Thank you to Tina and her staff for taking good care of us and allowing me to stay close to home. I came to this salon while passing through woodland based on its high reviews on yelp and was so disappointed. As walk ins, I will say they took us in fairly quickly as we were waiting for two chairs together. However, I got my pedicure started right away while my mom in the chair next to me was left sitting in the (cold) foot bath with no attendant and no circulating water. She waited for so long to get helped that my pedicure was already nearly done by the time someone came to start hers. The water was cold, the staff was unkind and unhelpful, and the pedicure itself wasn't great either. They didn't even put my sandals back on for me at the end, which I have never encountered. They also gave us a complimentary hot tea and my mug was dirty with lipstick from someone else. 100% would never go back. :-/ at least the polish looked nice at the end read more

Meanwhile walk-ins were accommodated before me with no regard for anyone who had made an appointment. The nail tech applied something to my nails to get the color off. It burned my skin on my hands and the skin underneath my nails. This has never happened before in all the years I have been getting manicures. I had been here twice before, once with an appointment and another with no appointment. I never had to wait this long. I will not be coming back. I went in for a gel fill and pedicure on the 18 th of July. This was my 3rd time in there. Well yesterday evening (29th)I noticed that 4 of my 5nails were faded and some of my toes. I went in this morning, talk to the owner he was acting stupid like he couldn't see the difference. He put alcohol on my nails and toes. WHY??? I told him that I been doing my nails for years and this has never ever happened before. He asked who did them for me I said Helen. I just wanted a color change nothing more he said he needed to talk to her so he called her and told her about it. I asked him if I was going to be charged, which I didn't think I had to pay for her mistake. She wanted to talk to me and she was no help either so I hang up on her and I told him that I wasn't ever coming back here because he didn't treat his customers right. I went in with an open mind since normally I would always go to Joane. I called and told that they have techs who do as well as Joane so I decided to give it a shot since I have to find someone in woodland now. I was treated very nicely by a guy he offered me water and a refreshment. The shop looks really nice as well. I waited a few minutes and my nail tech came. I showed her a picture of high French tips I was looking for and she got to work. She is working and now it's time to do the French tips. She does one finger and asks me what I think I told her oh no I was looking for something thinner please like the picture I showed you. She wipes it off and then tells me ,"oh that's $15 extra." I was like umm ok I guess so. But then it didn't sit right with me. My nails are not even long why is it a whole $15 extra. I then pulled up the price chart in their website and asked her which service she is charging me for and she was a bit taken back. She then fumbled a few times trying to explain how she was charging and told me that my nails are gel so it's extra which I know it is but they really didn't ask me if I wanted gel I just said I wanted a full set French tips and showed them the picture. Again I had no problem paying for that. But then she could not show me where it says $15 extra for just a thinner French tip. So I told her just do it normal. She did it normal. It was a technique she used I had seen for the first time but every tech has their own way. In all the shop is nice, they do offer water, green tea, coffee, wine. But I went in asking for something showing my tech a picture and she did not tell me anything about a $15 extra charge before starting. I found that very unprofessional and it ruined my whole experience. I walked out with nails that don't look bad but they are not what I went in for and asked for. I did not walk out of there fully happy with my service. I didn't get what I asked for. read more
