For specialized services like plumbing, you are paying for the experience and education the person received, not to mention the license, bond, insurance and equipment. Most of the "referrals" I received were word of mouth, and most likely not licensed since I could not find any other information about these other businesses other than anecdotal evidence. After my wife spoke to Joe on a Saturday, he promptly scheduled a next day Sunday call realizing our immediate need. He was very realistic in his estimation over the phone, after all, he was only hearing the issue sight unseen. When he arrived, I was greeted by a smiling, happy person, which, in previous experiences usually resulted in mixed feelings regarding their confidence and ability to work with us as customers, but more importantly as people. The first thing he did before entering our home was put on booties to respect our living space, classy move! He was very honest and knowledgeable regarding the issue we had with our drain. He explained the method in which he would remove the obstruction and told us what to expect after the obstruction was removed. Everything he said was on point and correct. He didn't oversell and under deliver. He was also open to looking at anything else we had some issues with and made some corrective suggestions which he didn't force upon us. When we are ready to take these corrective actions, rest assured we will go with Joe Garcia at Above and beyond Drains and Plumbing. Joe takes the guess work out of solving your issue. His rates are competitive, and he is an honest man. Most businesses will try and earn your business while at the same time capitalizing on your misfortune. The impression I received from Joe is that he is there to provide his customers with excellent customer service and will not take advantage of people in need. He is the type of person that goes above and beyond by developing business relationships with his customers so that he could create repeat business through the trust and rapport he tries to build when providing his services.
