Absolutely amazing flavor. Incredible service. We went to the new location on Broadway Ave. Abu was very good at answering our questions about how the foods are made and the different options available. We had been to the Fairhaven location and we enjoyed the food there as well. The staff at both locations are over the top friendly and happy to answer questions. read more

I had lunch today at Super Donair. I ordered a large beef donair with donair sauce and tomatoes. Donairs are a big thing back home in Nova Scotia so whenever I come across them on my travels, I try them. Size-wise my large donair was a great deal at $10. Despite the name, this was not a super donair. The meat was fried to be heated and there was some charred bits. The meat was a bit too peppery. The donair sauce is one of the best parts of a donair and this wasn't sweet enough. I ate about half of it because I was hungry and discarded the rest. read more

It immediately gave me a stomach ache, ordered a poutine that had watery gravey that filled the bottom of my bag so much that I had to fish my fork out and the fries were extremely hot with a cold inside plus it's not sanitary. They are only friendly to certain people. read more

Not middle eastern cuisine but punjabi style donair wraps. Low quality vegetables and ingredients. Low quality taste. They try to make up for it with an extremely high volume of food in your wrap that makes it impossible to eat. Not the place for you if you like authentic shawarma. The lamb donair here is AMAZING. I'm so happy I've found Super Donair since moving to Saskatoon. A large donair is a HUGE portion and a great value. The regular is also A LOT of food. You can't go wrong with either. The lamb is spiced so well and has always been fresh. The tzatziki is great. The service is wonderful. The gentlemen who runs the shop is always very nice to us. Went for here for dinner, had the chicken plate, the girl behind the counter ask me what sauce I wanted, I said garlic mayo, don't know if you've ever had garlic mayo before but it's pretty delicious...not here!! My food came out steaming hot...from the microwave I'm 99% sure they warmed up the rice in it, was scorching. So the girl behind the counter said I should try the tatziki sauce as well, prolly knowing well enough that I wasn't gonna like the garlic mayo, it looked like a minty green puke on top of my chicken, granted it was only on half, so I scooped it onto the piece of paper on my tray and started to eat the rest of the food, which was below mediocre. This is one of the best restaurants in the city. Their entire menu is great, with the donairs being the showcase. The large size is enough portions for 1 large meal for even a big eater, and priced incredibly cheap. If you are feeling something different I also highly recommend their Pizzas, in which the substitute their sweet sauce instead of a tomato base for something really great and different. The best part is the Owner, who seems to take it upon himself to make sure everything is running perfectly. He's very friendly and welcoming, I've even had a friend tell me he brought them out some samples of things him and his wife were trying out. As someone who works in the food service industry, I know this level of commitment to food quality and customers is almost unmatched in this city. Whenever I crave a donair, I go to this small restaurant at 33rd Street and Idylwyld Drive. Both the lamb or beef donairs are delicious - I find the medium size to be more than enough for my appetite. Quite frankly I've never tried anything else from their menu.
