We booked in advance and they checked in with our party beforehand, so we were able to let them know about an allergy concern. The staff handled that information better than so many other restaurants we've frequented. Allergies can be a serious concern for a lot of people, and having staff who handle those requests seriously in turn shows an appreciation for their customers. Kudos. The food we were served was excellent, across the board. The pasta was fresh, and the quality of their ingredients and skillful preparation made for a satisfying, flavourful meal. Also worth mentioning, they have a varied drink menu with lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to complement your meal. If I absolutely have to complain about something to be unbiased... Price-wise, well, it's not the Ol' Spaghetti Factory, but you're paying marginally more for quality - ingredients, selection, service - and you're getting it. So, priced appropriately, I would say. Music might have been a bit loud for my liking, but my likings are particular and it was admittedly appropriate for the atmosphere. *If you're weirded out by seeing people experiencing poverty and the related effects of social disorder, understand that it is located on 20th street. Small town. Small minds…read more I heard a couple say that as I was walking down the street toward this restaurant. It's such an unfair statement, especially when applied to Saskatoon. This is a wonderful little town that punches above its weight. The meal I had here may have been the best I've had in 2023 (or at least tied with the one I had in Marfa, Texas). From the scallions to the pasta to the fish to the pudding like dessert paired with a sweet wine, each course complemented the next. The folks here were all so nice and I trusted them to surprise me with each aspect of the meal. I love it when I can hand that decision to experts. In such a short time, I've come to love Saskatoon. The restaurant is a big place, they use a train car as a part of the restaurant which is pretty cool. There are plenty of seatings inside. Staff were friendly. I got Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo $22.95 CA and Penne with Chicken $21.25 CA. The food comes with one side of either soup or salad. Everything just wasn't as good as we expected. Pasta was a bit hard and so bland. Mushroom was undercooked. They used frozen seafood which are small shrimp, small scallops which is very unexpected and disappointing. My husband and my son barely complained about anything but this time they were all refusing to finish the food. The portions were also small compared to the price. I should have checked reviews on Yelp prior to ordering them. Definitely will not go back and not recommend.

Don is attentive, fun and intelligent, giving you his full attention while still noticing the subtle beckons of nearby tables. He's a fly fisherman who feels life deeply and has great care for all. A tinge of red barely able to be seen across the dough. Pizzas usually have pizza sauce to my knowledge and that is what usually adds the flavor!! So I got bland dough, meat and cheese. I have given them the chance to rectify this, I called immediately, no answer, I emailed, no response, I called again and they said the manager would get back to me, no response and finally I emailed them again......nothing.
